Great reaction - I'm guessing you've already been told not to cut the end off their videos ;)

What to do after watching Babymetal - Road of Resistance Live in Saitama Super Arena 2015:
    1). Buy Babymetal flag
    2). Mount flag to car
    3). Find a lonely highway
4). Break all the traffic laws with the windows down, blasting this song, arms out the window chanting “Whoooaah whooaaah!”

They got at least 3 big circle pits going. Those girls got true power. You committed a crime for not waiting until the girls walk off stage.

Just saw them live a couple of weeks ago, they put on an amazing show. One of my and many others favorites would be rondo of nightmare budokan black night. I would also suggest reading the lyrics, at least for that one as it definitely adds to the performance. Also where'd the wine go? Don't lose your originality just because of one comment.

Good reaction This video was from January 2015 at the Saitama Super Arena. Su was 17, Yui and Moa only 15 and that was over 20,000 people completely under their control. Even at that age Su just looks at the crowd, spreads her arms and the crowd opens up for a wall of death (actually several walls of death at that concert as the crowd were in sections. A journalist up in the balcony that night said he counted, I think it was, 21 mosh pits).
This was also the end of a 90 minute concert - they had been keeping that same energy up without any drop in quality for the whole time. It is what they do - they appreciate people have often paid a lot of money and travelled a long way to see them, they never give anything less than 100% for every song at every concert, whether that is one of their big arena concerts in Japan or at the many various sized venues as they tour the world.
About the song itself - 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way.
It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow.
Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song (it is the only one they were involved in) and recorded the guitars for the album version. They have said they made this more technical and faster than most of their own songs thinking they would never have to play it live ... and that they had to practice hard when they did perform it with BABYMETAL at an awards show in London later in 2015.
This was the Kami Band playing live of course, each one of them is a world class musician. In this concert the Kami Band were Leda Cygnus and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars (Takayoshi has the glitter pink guitar) with BOH on his 6 string bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums.

3:43 _Now Pizza Time (Pizza Time!)_ 🦊🤘🍕
Nice to see you're back with this suggestion. Now with another hit they don't wanna leave behind in almost any of their setlist, such at Sabaton's Europe Tour and later at Asian and Australian Tour as well recently at the Babyklok Tour in the US closing the show with this epic anthem. You're just watching one of the best live clip, but you're gonna find plenty of more amazing live shows so brace yourself, you've seen nothing yet.
_Road Of Resistance_ is a fantastic power/speed metal song, is one of their most epic anthem and the album version got the guitar arrangements made by Sam Totman and Herman Li from DragonForce, that's why some got "Through The Fire and Flames" vibes, and is all about facing your own path without looking back.
The wall of death is nuts just like you noticed, is also called "mosh'sh pit", different from usual mosh pit because this one is safe to participate if you fall everyone will stop until you get up and get ready to keep going with the fun ride.
This was part of the Trilogy Of 2015 series of concerts, live at New Year Fox Festival - Saitama Super Arena, is the last song of the encore they performed and finishing the show. By this time their fame was already high due to viral success on YT of Gimme Chocolate! MV, people from all over the world attended this live concert in Japan, and 20K souls witnessed this epic moment.
With only 15 and 17 years old this moment will be forever remember when they performing this song to reminds them all the support they got from their fans no matter where they go, either a small or big stages.
The Kami Band here are magnificent set of elite musicians who were send to help the girls with the metal sound, they rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (especially the guitarists), all of them are males.
BM fans love some members of this band but none of them are official members of this group not even permanent, they only play live, so when you heard album tracks remember they aren't playing there.
    In this case they are:
    - Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording certain songs.
    - Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly past away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar or golden in other moments.
    - BOH, god of bass, he's the bald one and not only got amazing talent but her fun way to enjoy reminds me Flea from RHCP.
    - Hideki Aoyama, god of drums, he comes from a family of expert drummers, and his father is very famous in Japanese music scene.
At the end of their shows they always said "We are BabyMetal!" with the crowd, to making them sure that they're part of this show and project too, is a line borrowed to X-Japan saying it at live concerts too.
If you like this type of metal genre then you're gonna love another previous song from first album called:
    - *"Ijime Dame Zettai"* live at Sonisphere Festival 2014 and witness a precious and epic moment on their career. You can find that clip in the official channel but just be careful coz sometimes is getting blocked issues.
    Next suggestion:
    - Karate live at Download Festival 2016.
Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 If you were in Massachusetts, you should have gone to see BABYMETAL concert in Boston on Sep.14 at MGM Music Hall at Fenway. You could have enjoyed this anthemic song as finale of the show. (You can find fancam videos in YT)
In your video, Su shouted some words at 09:04 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then or when she does, it is with her friendly voice and smile that I love.

I should mention that many BABYMETAL videos are like MCU movies: they aren't over until they are over. Just because you saw the final burst of flames did not mean that BABYMETAL was finished. Shame on you!!! I strongly suggest that you allow the video to finish, don't assume that it is over.
As far as suggestions and recommendations are concerned, I made mine in your two previous forays into BABYMETAL - I've nothing else to add at this time. So far, you are doing well and it's good to see you are having fun with BABYMETAL.

    • @WineyGuyReacts
      @WineyGuyReacts  9 місяців тому +1

Hi,To me this is a heavy song with deep lyrics so I would pair this with a deep red full bodied wine. The full bodied part comes with the ABV being greater than 13.5%. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are usually deep in color. This is just my opinion haha.

"Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) -
This was at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) in Japan, with a sold out crowd of over 20,000.
BABYMETAL's lead singer, Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal, or Su) first appeared at Saitama Super Arena in 2008 as a member of the J-Pop trio "Karen Girl's", when she was 10 years old.
Karen Girl's were one of several groups performing songs from anime shows.
She's been back a few times since, headlining with BABYMETAL. : )
