You have to react to BAND-MAID! A Japanese women rock band from Tokyo. You will LOVE the bass player MISA .🤩🤩
She plays the bass like Peter Hook from Joy Division like a lead instrument.
She can jump back and forth between plucking the bass guitar and playing with the plectum in fractions of a second by jamming the plectrum under her right index finger.
The song "Play" (live) would be a good start.

An English Metal Music journalist was at that show he said: I counted 23 pits during that song. LOL 🙂
When the girls signal to do something, yep, fans do it. Especially after an hour long show, everyone is fully involved (if not to tired to move).
Surprisingly: this was only the 3rd time this song was performed, it wasn't released to the public yet. Ones in the UK (because: Dragonforce) and ones in a small venue with fan club members as a practice for this show.
Good luck getting tickets for a Babymetal show, they sell out pretty quickly.

Glad you got this re-uploaded. Great first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Galaxy. They really are unique and very special, you won't find another band like them (some have tried to do what they do, none has come close yet).
BABYMETAL are Su-metal (now 24) and Moametal (now 23) - the third original member, Yuimetal, sadly left the band in October 2018 having been absent from the stage for the previous 12 months. She had ongoing (and undisclosed) health issues and had not fully recovered so was still unable to perform, so she announced she would be leaving the band and hoped to follow her own long held dreams.
From the start of the 2019 tour Su and Moa were supported in live shows by three dancers (the Avengers) who took turns to dance in the third spot (they did not sing). They were Kano, Riho and Momoko.
BABYMETAL started in 2010 as a sub-unit of a school themed J-Pop Idol group called Sakura Gakuin. As members of that group they would sing songs and dance, the sub-units would have their own themed songs (tennis, cooking, science etc). BABYMETAL were the heavy music club.
This was the pet project of just one man, their producer Kei Kobayashi or 'Kobametal', a lifelong metalhead, based entirely around the vocal talents of Suzuka Nakamoto or Su-metal the lead singer. He had seen her a year or two before singing with her previous J-Pop trio and was so impressed that he saw her potential to front a metal/pop fusion band. He had his chance to work with her when Sakura Gakuin was formed and he started the Heavy Music Club with Suzuka as lead vocals and her two young friends (also very talented performers) Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi supporting her as "scream and dance" - more accurately backing vocals and in charge of hyping the audience with their choreo and leading chants etc.
They started with no budget, singing to pre-recorded instrumentals and when they started playing their own small shows they had guys in skeleton suits (Babybones) miming the instruments (no pretence really, everybody knew they were just there for show).
It was decided that when Su graduated from Sakura Gakuin in 2013 when she was 15 BABYMETAL should separate from Sakura Gakuin to be her (and Yui's and Moa's) vehicle as they furthered their careers and that they would become an independent band. In anticipation of this happening a bit more budget was made available and late in 2012 the live band (the Kami Band - some of Japan's very best session musicians - all male by the way) were brought in to play the encores in a couple of shows and they played at a couple of festivals with BABYMETAL. They did this for about 18 months and became the full time support for all live performances from early March 2014.
BABYMETAL have about 50 songs now and they are all different, but they all have bespoke choreography and incredible live performances.
This concert was at the Saitama Super Arena in January 2015, Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) was only just 17. Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi (Yuimetal and Moametal) were still only 15 and that was a sold out crowd of over 20,000 people completely under their control. This song was the finale - they had been keeping up that same energy (with no dip in quality) right from the first minute and throughout the 90-ish minutes until the end.
'Road of Resistance' is about forging your own road, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way.
It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow.
Herman Li and Sam Totman from the British power metal band DragonForce did the guitar arrangements for this song and played on the recording for the studio album version.

I always love when reactors react to Road Of Resistance.... there's always that "Is that little girl really calling for a wall of death" in the beginning.... And then you see the "oh shit" look when they realize that a 5'2" Asian girl called for, and got a big ass wall of death/mosh pit, is hilarious. Love the sing a long part with the fans... I think they added that part in just to give the drummer a break before his legs fall off. 🤣🤣🤣🤘🦊🤘

    * My comment re-posted 😄* - Good morning & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。We welcome you when you come to our country either for your official service or private travel. The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. American people also did good job in any of 20 shows during BM's 2019 US Tour. For example, you will find videos showing 17,500 audiences doing the same chanting (even much longer one) at the Forum, LA on Oct. 11, 2019. In your video, Su shouted some words at 07:57 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then. Last year (2021), on the final day (April 15) of 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN concerts, Su shouted the same words in the end-all of the show. She did it smilingly with matured, mild and friendly voice. It meant, I believe, "come on guys!" The audience smiled her back. I was there at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿

I'm Japanese . Thank for your nice reaction .
They are not minor talent in Japan . they belong to the biggest entertainment company in Japan and work for the company when a child as child stars (acting for TV. Movies. etc)
And there is no singer who has both beauty and good singing like Su-Metal (the lead singer of Babymetal) 'in Japan' , I think .
She is 24years old now .
When you have a hard time , you should listen 'no rain no rainbow' by BABYMETAL .
Your soul would be fulfilled by the God blessing , I think .

Yes, the moshpit call of road of resistance is something. Although japanese moshpits are more tame and due to its distribution even the US and European mosh pits are conciderably self costrained.
They gave about 40% female fans and all ages between 5 and 85. Even 20 year olds know that they can't jump into an old man or young girl. There us a reason why they are the International most successful japanese Band.

"Stand up and shout, Shout!, Justice Forever!" - (Road of Resistance) -
This performance was at Saitama Super Arena (SSA) on January 10th, 2015, with a sold out crowd of over 20,000.
Guitarists that night were Takayoshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus. The bassist was BOH, and the drummer Hideki Aoyama.
    All guys, BTW.
BABYMETAL's lead singer, Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto, or just Su) first appeared at this venue in 2008 as the youngest member of the J-Pop trio Karen Girl's, when she was 10 years old.
She's been back many times since, headlining with BABYMETAL.
She can see how good she was at controlling a crowd when she was 17.
The two younger members were 15 at this show.

This was the proper way to close an epic concert. 90+ minutes all performed with this level of intensity. Needless to say it's one of my favorite concerts.
I (not) secretly love when reactors notice the crowd going too fast and Su putting them back in tempo. That's what an experienced singer does. And being Su 17 years old here it's amazing.

BM and the Kami Band are fantastic, particularly between 2013-2017. They hit four years of sheer brilliance where the stage presence of the girls and the Kami Band (who are all men) and their fantastic talents meshed to produce something amazing. In this concert Moa and Yui are 15 and Su is 17 and I'm always surprised by how they can control a crowd of 20000 fans.
"Road of Resistance" is about fighting and resisting even if you can't see the way ahead and it reminds us that there are things worth fighting for - so it's an appropriate song for the times. It was the song that sold me on BM because I ended it as an emotional wreck. They take you from one pinnacle to another and just keep on going. But for me the real hero of this song is the drummer, Hideki Aoyama, I think this song averages over 200 BPM. I wonder what's the collective number of calories expended by BM and the Kami Band in this performance.
The song has a strong "Dragonforce vibe" because Dragonforce's Li and Totman worked on it and play it on the album, but I like this live Kami Band version more. The concert has a great stage set up and the famous Yui leap over Moa during IDZ.
At the end of the crowd "wows" I love the combination of the insanely fast guitar riff and the dance sequence that ends with the girls standing strongly and outlined by the lights, that's where I really get the chills. It shows how well the Babymetal team works to bring together music, singing, dancing and stage and lighting design.
Next, maybe an emotional Su solo like "Akatsuki - Budokan Black Night" or the fun of "Headbanger Legend 1997" or, if you are adventurous, "Tales of the Destinies". For another band that might be interesting check out "Atarashii Gakko".

Wait! What just happened? I think I’m too early, but Jake and Grington300 may be politely opening the door for the basics. If you want to avoid copyright blocks there is a UA-cam Channel called the Babymetal Reactors Resource. This channel has many/most of the Babymetal videos in duplicate. One video is original for you to watch and react to. The other video has the Babymetal logo over the video for you to simultaneously post. Don’t worry about the logo! Their fans already know every performance by heart. The important and interesting aspect is your honest opinions. Think of it as a marketing compromise as the group deserves their rewards for their efforts. I’m not a reactor so follow the instructions and not me. Welcome to a new world.
Thank you for your service brother. The one thing I regret is never being sent to Eastern Asia. Enjoy the Wolfpack. No I’m not referring to my second favorite band.

Hi JG. Referring to your comment, which was posted several days ago and deleted thereafter, regarding my comment about big difference in death rate by COVID between Japan and other countries, I forgot to mention one thing. Very low rate in Japan is, ironically, owing to vaccines developed and made in USA. We have to appreciate it.

    Re-commented from previous blocked reaction.
    Welcome and welcome back.
There will be some great information coming your way (trust me -soon) from people who have been fans for years that will fill you in.
I just will tell you that these young ladies and their world class backing band The Kami Band are respected by and have either performed or collaborated with the likes of Metallica, Slipknot, Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, Gun and Roses, Korn, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many others. They are legitimate. React to them LIVE instead of MV’s when possible as this is where they shine. They have over 50 LIVE song/performances and EVERY one is different. They are fearless exploring other music genres and NAILING them
I suggest for your next reaction either
Karate LIVE at 2016 Download Festival in the UK where 60,000+ British metal heads sing along with the girls.
    Or
    Headbanger LIVE
    Good luck and welcome.
One more thing…. avoid performances from Glastonbury as the BBC ruined the sound production.

Now that you are visiting Japan Metal/ Rock, you must visit Band Maid (there's a "barefoot foot Assassin" bass player that's kind of OK!), Nemophila, Love Bite, Ha-na-bi-e etc. I would even try to get stationed at Yokota Airbase, Po!, just to be able to go to the various concerts in Tokyo (and eat Ramen). BTW, from this USAF vet, thanks for your service!

Close.. well, not really.. Okinawa is where Kadena AFB I, on one of the southern most islands. Su is actually from Hiroshima.. yeah, that Hiroshima. To think that if that bomb had taken out her great great grandparents, we wouldn’t have Babymetal.

Can i suggest something "mature" J metal? LOVEBITES (live), what you want song, all genuine heavy-power-thrash-prog metal, not like this, build in some Sony laboratory, sorry!
