We plan to retest this truck back home where it’s not 100+ degrees outside, where it has definitely taken a toll a bit on acceleration, but holy cow is this truck insane!

Yes, it's "Amazing" and very out, outdated Technology. For that money we should expect a High-Tech drivetrain - instead we get this same old ICE drivetrain that passes everything on the road except Gas Stations.
@@hacklaurent9412 that would be a step up from the Hybrid drivetrain I have in my current 6 year old daily driver, which is a hybrid system that has 370hp, gets 28mpg city, 34 highway in a luxury car that weighs 4000 lbs. The high performance Hybrids were designed and developed 10 years ago - why are none available in todays market?

One reason I hate GM. Can’t make anything dangerously close to the corvette. GM could make a charger competitor but they don’t. Cadillac does it but for 100k. Mary was the worse decision ever.

I have always HATED "resale red" vehicles. As a Chevelle guy (and a muscle car guy in general), anytime you see someone who wants to sell their worthless, Bondo-filled POS for three or four times what it's actually worth, it's painted "Cranberry Red" and has overspray on all of the inner fenders and exhaust and frame and everywhere else. I just really hate red cars in general and have always been a fan of the "less desirable" paint colors (my 1969 Chevelle SS is a factory Burnished Brown car with white interior). But the shade of red on that Escalade is not only the most beautiful shade of red I've ever seen on ANY vehicle, it would be THE ONLY COLOR I'd get if I was getting an Escalade. I can't even describe how incredible that thing looks with that shade of red on it. It's STUNNING!!!

Great effort & compliment to the new V lineup Cadillac! Only needs more aggressive styling,wider fender flares,a hood scoop or heat extractors done classy but subtlety aggressive,interior steering wheel & seats need more sport design to differ from the regular Escalade,also the wheels should've been sportier. But it definitely a great move & direction for Cadillac!!!👍🇺🇸
Its an Escalade. Although those things might make it more appealing to a younger crowd (the few with enough money), its more conservative market group doesn't care about those things. Remember, industries use these things as limo, and they don't want to appear gaudy. They went out on a limb with the exhaust note, but at least you can turn that off at times you don't want/need to announce your presence.
Idk why but when watching this video I kept thinking.... If i was to start a chauffeur company...I would buy a few of these and charge top dollar for trips to the airport...lol
GM and Cadillac really hit a home run with this new Escalade, it just looks amazing and I wish I could afford this, but frankly, I don't think I'd be able to drive this huge of a SUV :D Overall, GM, Cadillac, you guys did a great job.
So…. I have 2018 ESV AWD with a Lingenfelter 700hp kit with a TVS2300. It did 0-60 in 4.7 and about 160MPH top speed. My current XB7 does 0-60 in 4.1 and 180mph. I sure hope that they make a version with Carbon Ceramics, 750+ hp (it does have a TVS2650 for a reason!) and a real set of wheels and tires.
Great review as always Sofyan. $149,000-$153,000 for a GM SUV is a lot of money. I would purchase a Lexus LX600 instead. And with gas prices so high it’s going to be expensive to operate this vehicle.

It amazes me that Dodge can slam the 6.4 Hemi in their Durango/Cherokees no questions asked and run a 4.1 0-60. It takes GM 2 decades to do a performance trim on their bread & butter….and yet the Yukon, Silverado/Sierras still are mute about supercharging
I must say, the Escalade V sounds mighty impressive with its Supercharged V8. It's just too bad that it's offset by the reputation of garbage reliability from modern-day Escalades of the 4th and 5th Gens.
Yeah the 2nd and naturally the 1st gens were both just basic work trucks underneath and ultimately ended up being reliable workhorses capable of going half a million miles on the original drivetrains but 3rd gens and up got all the computerized crap and cylinder deactivation nonsense that shortened the lifespan of the engines so now these things are just big overpriced GM junk.
It's also aerodynamics. I have no doubt it can go quicker but aerodynamics really matter, it's a fast mini bus. I would honestly take a decent guess and say it could go 155 mph with tires that can handle it.
They need to have a version for Ubers and a version for consumers because they can really go crazy with the interior so it's not so driver focused but it's lacking luxeeies that are in the Granf Wagoneer and others. However, the exterior is second to none.
With the high price of gas over $7.00 bucks per gallon and this beast caddy probably gets 10 mpg LOL no way it is the wrong time for GM to come out with.
I cannot believe Redline Reviews was in Scottsdale! I guess to test the integrity of the A/C in a six-figure SUV. The AZ heat is known to challenge the staying power of Freon in your vehicle. That heat does. not. play! The price on these new SUVs is the cost of homes in AZ from 10 years ago!!

Imagine That Escalade with a pulley and tune it will be well over 700WHP. I know where that is. I live in scottsdale as well. Was *114 here yesterday.

Blackwing is a ripoff, no carbon fiber hood, window shades which should be on every V.

With all the people whining about the cost of the Cadillac, do you really see anyone that could afford a Chevy paying the extra cost?
