I’m getting the sport platinum!!
i have a previous gen escalade esv premium with the bench 2nd row seat and i loved it so much, one of my most fav vehicles to drive. i loved the passenger space, the comfort, the cargo room, and towing ability. and of course, the presence. the engine in mine is giving out and there is a LOT of rust under the hood that is a bit alarming (182k miles, northeastern winters) and i would love to upgrade to a newer escalade esv sport with everything blacked out. its next to impossible to find 2nd row bench seat in these suvs these days. i wonder what the differences between sport and sport platinum are.
If we get our hands on them to do a review then I would be more than happy to do. But these cars are very nice.

To summarize, sport is for younger people, no chrome. Luxury is for the older crowd that is still into the chrome for whatever reason. I'm 26, I have a 23' sport, love it.

@vagabondbuilds do you think the Luxury seats were more comfortable even if they are a ”lesser” spec? Both me and my girlfriend had this impression when trying both. They felt extremely cushy, and the sport plat ones felt a bit stiffer
To be honest, I didn’t get a different feel. Or I can say I didn’t see such a great difference in where it caught my attention.

I would love for Cadillac to make an upgrade to the infotainment screen, I feel like it needs to be stretching a little more or make it just like the Lincoln Nautilus does with their dashboard, because for me a car such like that Escalade, for this kind amount of money the dash needs to be more futuristic and a little more upgrades throughout the interior design

What are the differences between sport and sport platinum? Very difficult to find that information That is clear and concise.

Its abit of a money trap. My dealer recommended me to go for the sport as from the outside there is no difference. Basically the SP will unlock some things you cant get in the sport (like cat back exhaust, rear infotainment, fridge in the console, brembo brakes. It comes standard with nicer seats (full leather), and it has the alcantara headliner, instead of the ugly GMy one. I think it’s also some minor details on the interior. It will have a lot of the things you can option out on the sport as default. Saying this as someone who took the SP, you’re basically paying 4-5 k for a nicer interior+seats and the ability to have a fridge and rear infotainment that you have to pay extra for haha. If you dont care about having the nicest shit, go with the sport and go for a vacation with the wife.

Mark ups didn’t stop with many other dealers as well even with stock increase…

So, in my 23 I don't like the black ,you can take the premium and outfit it like the sport but with the chrome agents. I have the akg 36 speaker, super cruise, the seats the adjustable air ride and magnetic. And retractable boards, but with the chrome

Platinum has the air suspension and magnetic ride control which I believe is worth the uplift in price

Dealer told me the main difference was the Sport Platinum has a blacked out trim/emblems. That is why they are the same starting price. It would be like comparing a red car to a blue one.

However, if you are worried about fuel efficiency, consider installing Nissan's e-Power engine, which will save energy and run on about a liter. If these things become a reality, it will be a big hit in Japan! This is the wish of the Japanese people

As escalade fan, sorry to say that navigator and grand wagoneer interior are way more luxury.
I can see here inside the escalade not much of wood and too much of plastic, even the leather are not premium, i dont think its cow or horse leather.
The escalade only wins in exterior design for sure.

When I looked at the front the one with the chrome I assumed would have more options compared to the blacked out cheap looking one but in today's clown world I understand now as people today think all blacked-out looks nice. It is like a metaphor for today's soulless society.

What is going on with that wood inlay...awful! Honestly, it might be time to put this out to pasture. Not to mention they are basically the same vehicles with cheap materials. If they want to keep the Escalade this is the answer. Escalade X for crossover. Upgrade all the materials, offer 2 seater with heated / cooled seats. Put metal and material finishes, increase hp, standard air suspension , power running boards, power shades in the rear etc. 👎🏽 for both vehicles
