For a person starting on the journey and oly just finding your channel I have to say THANK YOU so much. It is comforting to know that and what others have gone though as it helps me to prepare for what I am going to be going through. To know that you and other posters like your good self have made it is reassuring.

I'm actually a pretty new follower. I think I've been following you for under a year, so I've only really known the recent Kate. I've really enjoyed your channel. Even when I haven't agreed with everything you've said, I've still enjoyed watching your videos and hearing your point of view. I think a lot of that is because we're from the same region geographically (I'll definitely say hi if I ever see you around). You cover topics - even when they're just 'slice of life' topics - that I can relate to both as a trans person and as someone from the Lower Mainland.
If your passion for the medium is gone, then maybe taking a break would be a good way to rejuvenate. Not just a week or two, but maybe for a few months. It's possible that giving yourself time away from it all will give you the space you need to figure out what's right for you. I know when I'm feeling directionless, taking a step back and giving myself some room to explore always helps me to get a better perspective on what I need.
Whatever your choice ends up being, I'm grateful for what you've shared, and I wish you all the best in life. ☺

thank you for all your efforts Kate. When I first came out in 2020 I was so happy to find your channel. There are/were so many people vlogging for the 20 something crowd, and having someone near my age was very special and helped me immensely. I can't even begin to describe it. A little over 3 years in I know I find myself less interested in my own progress reports and whatnot and I think it's perfectly normal to reach a point where it's just time to stop worrying about watching that progress bar and live our lives. Anyway, thank you again for everything you've done.

Hey Kate, I would be sad to see you go. Your thoughts are interesting and valuable. "Find a speed that works for you" - yes. Your content is so real. So much content by trans people seems so fantastic and self indulgent. Especially as an older person, I view your videos and they help me just live as a trans woman. Continue to make what you want to see. I will watch.

I quit making trans content myself awhile ago now since I have nothing else to talk about, after a break i'm planning on focusing more on other topics that I have loads of ideas for. unfortunately it's hard to make videos on trans stuff when nothing trans related is happening in my life.
I also stopped making a lot of my trans-related content. I'll probably continue, but it's less useful for people new to their transition and people further along aren't as interested in that type of content. I think I'll focus more on milestones and news and only when it's something I'm really passionate about. I hope you enjoy whatever it is you decide to do!
