I went to St Clair College in Windsor from 2016-2018. I have lived in multiple cities in Ontario and currently live in Alberta. Windsor is easily the friendliest city I have ever lived in. People in Windsor are just different.
Being so close to Detroit is a huge plus! Concerts at Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena, and the Fox Theater. Baseball at Comerica Park. Greektown, comedy clubs, Campus Martius.....and all of this is right outside the tunnel!!

That was awesome 👍🏻I was realy worried about living in Windsor because I have recently applied for unuversity of Windsor and york university of toronto and I’ve been told that as a new commer living in windsor is not as pricy as living in torono . I dont know anyone in Windsor but I have some friends who are living in torono right now that’s the main reason why Iam worried about living in windsor

There are lots of clean and nice neighborhoods in windsor. They just cost more than the downtown/university / sandwhich area South windsor tecumseh la salle lots of nice family friendly areas

Depends - look up terra corp. they own a couple really nice buildings by the water that they just renovated. 1 bed 1 bath is going for 1650…. But that’s the max - other apartments and areas of the city can get as low as 1100
I am a Canadian living in Detroit’s suburb. Yes you are right. The boarder which divides two countries makes them huge different. We are still thinking about moving back to Canada and Windsor is the first choice. I know some Canadians living in Metro Detroit taking advantage of high salary here and family oriented life in Windsor as well. I believe Windsor will be booming. Love river side and Lasalle ( had been living in Mississauga, Waterloo and Peterborough for ten years)
