I’m usually insanely critical of agents when they present this type of information. But being a Windsor/Essex countryresident I would say your spot on.
Few things you left out is Windsor has the highest per capita police officer to resident ratio of all of Canada, fastest response time in the country, incredible safe and police are super awesome to protect their community when needed.
Windsor police doesn’t have any chickens, these guys and gals are first class.
Fire response is excellent, some of the lowest in the country and these people honestly care, while everyone is running out of the burning building a team of fire fighters are going in to save someone’s dog. (The most respect to firefighters and EMS responders, Windsor has top notch responders).
Lots of medical centres, however hospitals seem to be understaffed.
The new Hospital has been in the works for 10 years and doesn’t look like it’s coming any time soon.
Biggest draw back is Windsor lacks in high paying jobs, everyone might be able to find something, (maybe), but good paying jobs for families they have been filled and it’s very difficult to break in.
Biggest crime in Windsor is theft, the thieves are everywhere down town, it’s not dangerous as they will “mug you”, they will just take anything they can and walk away if no one says anything. Car doors unlocked, garages left unlocked, bikes left unattended, etc… things grow legs in Windsor quite easily.
As far as violent crime it’s next to nothing.
Weather is mint 8-9 months out of the year and winter is really only Dec-fed.
Besides a few things, great video!
As far as a affordability, the correction is coming. 2-3 years from now we will be living in a very different market for buying.
    Cheers!

I live in La Salle. Extremely safe and a good place for people with preteen children as there are lots of fun things for them to do. Rents / house prices are quite high.

I lived in a "bachelor" apartment in east Riverside in the early 2000s. $535/mo. all in. That said, it was institutional ceramic tile and white paint. Some decent renovations have been done to that building since. I loved it there and indeed, I ended up buying my first home about one year later!

Those bachelor apartments now are 1300 to 1800 dollars

I was in Windsor three weeks ago and I also checked out the area for potential relocation. It was a quiet Tuesday afternoon when I visited. There were only a few people on the street as I walked around. I spoke with some Starbucks employees and gathered information from them. Initially, I felt a bit pessimistic, but regardless of what happens, I plan to move to Windsor from Toronto in April. I anticipate that adjusting to a new city after living in Toronto for two years will be challenging, but I am confident that I can manage it. Thanks to you, Ryan, I already know a lot about Windsor. Honestly, my main concern is finding a job. I will give myself two months to settle into life in Windsor. If I am unable to secure employment or establish a social life, I may consider moving back to Toronto in July.

Thank you for all these detailed videos. I am going to study in University of Windsor this fall. It would be great if you can talk about how local people think of the university or the communities near the campus. You mentioned that Sandwich is not really a safe place so I am wondering how about the university areas? Thank you so much for all the content again!

I mean to be fair to the unemployment rate, that measure is showing people on Emloymemt insurance . It doesn’t include people on welfare, and people who just don’t work so that statistic is misleading to begin with

Krasnodar Sochi Anapa Moscow, soon Russia will become Armenians. And in the West, Russians are deported, who are reasonable and support world peace and so that reliable information does not leak, and Armenians are drawn to Western democracy, but we cannot develop, they steal from themselves and sell new equipment, and the workers are already in debt for accommodation In Russia, money is written off for shoplifting. Let's work for world peace, otherwise the war will repeat in Armenia as well as in Ukraine.
