    12. When a group of people are laughing, people instinctively look at the one’s they like.
    11. Chew gum or eat sth when nervous to reduce feelings of anxiety.
    10. Staring can help get any info you need
    9. Imagine your interviewer is a friend you haven’t seen in a long time or consider that they are as nervous as you are.
    8. If you have to work with a lot of people, put a mirror behind you.
    7. If you think sb is looking at you, yawn. If they are staring at you, they’ll yawn.
    6. If you wanna break up a fight, get sth to eat and stand in between the two parties.
    5. If you wanna get rid of sth, hand it to sb while talking to them (hack for moving things around your house😉)
    4. If you want to easily become friends with sb, as them for a favor.
    3. Schedule important meetings for the beginning or end of the day because everything in between is a blur.
    2. Pay attention to the direction of feet while talking to people. It shows their interest in you and what you’re talking about.
    1. Copying other people’s body language, can help you win their trust

    I used this information to fix my life. I was at Kmart and was putting some rings in my pocket. This girl behind counter was looking at me , I think she likes me. But I noticed one foot was facing away from me and the other foot was constantly pressing some button on the floor. So , I asked her if she got hurt, cause angels as heavy as she was can't fly to far before they fall. She kinda laughed and muttered something about 5150 into the store speaker. Security was coming so I asked her a personal question; Just how much do you weigh? And it worked. she just stared at me , so i handed those rings to her. When security got there I yawned at them and got pepper sprayed. Everybody started laughing as I rolled on floor rubbing my eyes. But I noticed that counter girl looking at me as she laughed. So, when i get out in six months, I think I will ask her out. Not sure what it means, but everybody feet are facing me when i go to the showers. ahhh good times. Thanks, for info. I am using it as a road map to success.

    Thank you for posting these tips. May I just add one comment from my own experience: For job interviews or interviews in general, I have observed that it is advantageous to make an appointment early in the morning (as you stated), OR just after lunch. Immediately after a meal, the interviewer is more relaxed. If he/she suffers from an acid stomach, this will not manifest until about 1-2 hours after the meal. If you make an appointment BEFORE lunch, the person may want to get it over with quickly, as he/she is feeling hungry. Just a piece of advice that does work. Kind regards.

    • @oldarpanet
      @oldarpanet 5 років тому

      For job interviews, I took the attitude that I was interviewing the company, to evaluate if I wanted to work there, if I wanted to work for this person. Made me feel more confident and in charge rather than felling like I'm hat-in-hand, looking for approval or acceptance. Worked! got the job I wanted, in the company I wanted and worked there for 28 years!

    12.) When a group of people are laughing, each individual looks at the person they like the most
    11.) Chew on something (gum etc.) when you’re nervous since no one eats when in danger
    10.) Staring can give you any answer you need; the silence can be so unbearable they’ll tell you anything
    9.) imagine that your future employer is an old BestF and they’re just as nervous as you
    8.) if you have to work with people a lot, put a mirror behind you since no one likes to see themselves angry or annoyed
    7.) if you think someone’s looking at you, yawn
    6.) to break up a fight, get something to eat and stand between them since eating is associated with relaxation
    5.) if you want to rid of something, just hand it to them while talking to them (while they’re talking, their brain switches to autopilot)
    4.) to become friends with someone, ask them for a favor
    3.) Schedule important meetings for the BEGINNING or END of the day; try to be the first or last interview candidate
    2.) pay attention to direction of the feet while talking to you; if their body is facing you but their feet are facing outwards they’re likely trying to get away ASAP
    1.) repeating someone’s facial expression or gestures, can help them trust you since they’ll be like you

    If you don’t want a teacher to call on you in class! Do not make eye contact with her and pretend you are writing. She will think your “busy” so she will not call on you

    • @IamPhinetoo
      @IamPhinetoo 6 років тому +15

      Tr4p MaZe It works the other way around too - if you want to get called by the teacher, just make eye contact - sometimes I do this when I don't want to raise my hand (because I don't want to make the impression I'm a show-off)

    • @bpdmf2798
      @bpdmf2798 6 років тому +11

      Tr4p MaZe You can also always have the right answer and willingly give it in the early weeks and then the teacher will stop calling on you because they think that the rest of the class will just rely on you. Also, always do your homework in the first quarter and do well on tests, then by the end half of the year you will get the benefit of the doubt if you are being graded on essays (they might just skip reading it because it's an auto A+ anyway). I suppose if you aren't a good student anyway then my advice won't help much, but I was an A+ student across the board and let me tell you it was easy as pie to get away with whatever I wanted by the end of the year, I even convinced a biology teacher to give me a 100 on a test where I had one answer wrong because of an English technicality on the phrases many vs a lot. The question was about the use of the scientific method, and in the question it was something like "brad pitt starred in many movies, true or false?" The correct answer was false because "many" is subjective and science requires more accuracy. I argued that "many" in English is used for a number greater than 1 and is able to be counted (a lot is used instead for things that are uncountable, like laundry), and I argued that brad pitt starred in more than 1 movie and the number of movies is countable. I not only got the 100, but every student got that question right since I argued for true because of my argument and false because many can be considered objective when used colloquially. Because I pointed that out we all benefited from it.

    This video is what junk food is to health, short term it makes you feel good, but long term it fails. If you truly want to get ahead in life, begin with yourself first. Spend 30 min. a day in front of a word processor asking yourself questions, "Why do you do what you do?, What mistakes have you made today? Is there anything you could've done better? If someone criticized you could some or all part of there criticism be true?, etc." In addition to that exercise, you need to think about your values. What is honesty, courage, kindness, forgiveness, humility, eating healthy about? Can they be beneficial in my life? Should I experiment with one of these values at a time to see how they can possibly change my life? That type of change is real, and for the long term. These "psychological tricks" are not lasting. If you're a cheat and liar eventually you'll get found out no matter how many "psychological tricks" you know. If you're mean and angry people won't like you. BTW - I'm still working on what I just said, I'm just giving my opinion. ; - )

    A common trick I pulled with my friends while in high school and college is to own a taken table by simply joining people already there and politely saying, may we share this table. You and your buddies start a conversation that the other person or persons can't relate to. They will be so uncomfortable about it that they will rush to leave. Works all the time.

    Along with mimicking a person's body movement, I also find it helps to get someone interested in you by 'using' open body language that unconsciously suggests one likes someone. The idea is that people don't usually know they're into someone until they find out that someone is into them; Given this knowledge, one can assume that although they may not exhibit these cues, they can also unconsciously pick up on them and feel liked. So if you want to get someone's interest, raise your eyebrows when they speak, occasionally glance at their lips, play shy, keep open body language, and keep your feet pointed to them. Hopefully they'll pick up on it unconsciously, and start to return these cues since you're making them feel special.

      These tips don't have anything to do with how fake or genuine you are. Can be an honest, genuine person, and still look at someone in a laughing group of people, or look at the direction of a persons feet? I think what upsets you is that you don't like the idea of being analyzed like that - and most people don't.

      You can like a video only by sign in into your account so it can be verfied easily and youtube will show the count without time lag but views will take more time to count. if u watch a video for 10 sec at first it will add that to "real time view" (you can't see this) and then filter it out to show you the verified view that's why likes are more than views 😑

    Remember to get them talking about themselves, or what interests them, and listen. To show them you are listening, ask them a question related to something they have said. People like to be heard; so gain their interest, and maybe trust by doing this.

      It actually does. It's called the Benjamin Franklin effect, as he was one of the first to notice it. It's subtle and subconscious, but it works in most cases. However, this video doesn't explain WHY it works very well. The reason it works is mainly because of cognitive dissonance. If you do a favor for a person while getting nothing in return, your brain (subconsciously) figures that the reason must be that you like that person. Lending them money is probably the worst example they could use, as money is one of the few things that this doesn't work as well with.
      Regards a psychologist.

    I have a 100% rate of getting the job after a job interview.
    1. My friend told me to always sit on the edge of the seat. It shows you are anxious and ready to begin the job. If you sit back you will give off a feeling of a lazy person.
    2. If you feel uncomfortable about looking at someone in the eye just look at them right in between the eyes. They cannot tell the difference and you will come off as a good listener.
    3. When asked for my weakness I do not give text book answers. I say I am a nail biter.
    4. When asked where do you see yourself in 5 years. I say I see myself as happy in my life and career.

    The video is alright and all but don't smile to gain someones trust, or to make someone happy, smile only if you actually feel like smiling, or you end up being fake to yourself and the person infront. Sure these things is good to know so that you can SPOT these people around you, but not applying those behaviors, i don't believe it's a real behavior if you THINK how to be against someone so you can satisfy their feelings and beliefs about you. Someone understand what I mean? :)

    • @arnoutseys7087
      @arnoutseys7087 6 років тому +5

      Yup. I think some of these behaviours, when done on purpose just sets up a bad foundation for relationships. When you do this, you're not really looking for a genuine relationship anyway.
      However, some of these can be very helpful. The main one out of these would be the staring one, to combat disingenuousness and halftruths

    • @thecatevans
      @thecatevans 6 років тому +2

      Ya most people fake smile often tho w/o thinking about it, real talk, sad truth but, learned trait, survival etc

    • @EC-rd9ys
      @EC-rd9ys 6 років тому +3

      I think people do these things subconsciously anyway. We’re all “fake” to an extent in that we might smile even when we’re in a bad mood so that our friends or family won’t be put off. I think if it’s well-intentioned and for the purpose of building good relationships, then there’s no problem.

    • @robertorenaldy1354
      @robertorenaldy1354 6 років тому +1

      how you define ‘fake’?

    • @EC-rd9ys
      @EC-rd9ys 6 років тому +3

      Mmm, I guess I'm thinking that behavior is "fake" insofar as it's consciously calculated and for some personal benefit (a benefit being, for example, that the people near you like you). This seemed to be the kind of behavior that Xetralon4life was against. Some people's personalities just tend to make them very aware of the way they present themselves to others and they can't help being aware of the calculations that others might make subconsciously. For example, when we meet someone new, we tend to smile almost automatically to make them feel more comfortable. I don't think being aware of what that smile is doing for the relationship makes it ingenuine.

    I've noticed a psychological trick that works for me is how I wake up. I put my phone on the floor next to my bed, so that when I want to turn off my alarm, it force me to get out of bed. Also, when I hear my alarm, I've developed the habit of immediately throwing the covers and sheet off of me. These first few moments of the day help me to be less stressed, less anxious, and more awake in the morning when I'm at School.

    I've used the foot direction and mirroring tricks for a long time to what appears to be personal gain, but which may actually just be a confirmation bias or simply the effects of the focus and confidence such considerations offer. In which case, it is still helpful.

  • @LijenC2357
    @LijenC2357 6 років тому

    the mirroring is a good way to get people's guard down. like when you are talking to someone with crossing arms means they are in defense mode, mirror that, and casually put your arms down during conversation, see if they follow your movement. if they follow, that means they are in same page with you and more trusty now.
    but these mind tricks only work if people dont realize been manipulate, so dont go tell people you know these stuff.
