"Foreigner friendly" is a tell. Most landlords in Japan aren't. And that's totally legal.

It's not, actually. It's been illegal to discriminate based on nationality for a long time now. Of course that doesn't stop the racist landlords, but it's the same deal in the West.

Hello can you please make a video of how to get an apartment in japan for a person who doesn’t speak Japanese and if there’s some apps that can be used ?
Love your video by the way ❤❤

There is no living room? It’s only a bedroom and a kitchen area along with bathroom?

Some Japanese apartments do not have a separate living room. I believe this is called a 1K apartment because it is 1 room + a kitchen.

Wow! I’m thinking to retire in Japan. My social security alone will be about 3k after tax. And my 401 from the hospital i work for here in SoCal will be a little over 400k.

My apartment in Kainan Shi was about £300pcm in 2002. I'm glad I didn't live in Tokyo. It's fun to visit, but expensive to live somewhere nice. There are micro-apartments in Tokyo from £400pcm, but nowhere near as new, clean, and spacious as this.

No catch, Tokyo allows for multi use zoning, leading them to able to build a surplus of housing. The wonders of having society not centered around the automobile

The Japanese have a big emphasis on cleanliness, meaning no animals allowed, seems very reasonable
