That is the biggest apartment I have seen in Japan (on youtube videos) and extremely good price!!! Brilliant. I first thought that you were using your 'lounge'/work area as sleeping as well until I saw a separate bedroom! Fantastic! Chiba is a good area to live in....
I am Japanese. His choice makes sense. If you live in a prefecture near Tokyo (Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama), you can live in a quality apartment for about half the price of Tokyo. The suburban prefectures are, dare I say it, similar to New Jersey next to New York City. It is possible for you to find a newer apartment like his for 500-800$ for a 1ldk for one person. However, landlords often have some concerns when renting an apartment to someone from abroad. You will need to show that you have the ability to pay properly. Providing proof of income, account balance, and place of employment (school) is a major plus point. Also, if you are a problem person (e.g. a drug addict), the landlord will refuse to move in with you. Show that you are a person of integrity. If you take care of these points, you can live a comfortable life in Tokyo for about 1/3 the cost of living in a large American city. I have also been stationed in major cities overseas, but none of them were as comfortable to live in as Tokyo.
I’m asking because I really want to consider moving to Japan, are there conventional ways to buy THC or Delta 8 THC marijuana carts legally? How does Japan stand on that?

Honestly best of both worlds. Appartments in central Tokyo for that price range are slightly bigger shoeboxes and being just 30 minutes train ride away from Tokyo is nothing if you want to go out or do some serious shopping when you can return to a cheap, modern and spacious appartment where you can actually move around and not feel cramped. That would be my choice everywhere - within comparable close distance to a major city but in an area where it's affordable to live.

That's amazingggg. How did you find such apartment, if you can share some contact, would be really helpful. Also which location is this?
I got a direct referral actually. It’s a small company of about 4 people + the owner. Unfortunately there’s no rooms right now but it’s along the keisei line

Is it common to having a cleaning lady there and how much would that be?
Not common. There might be cleaners that clean the outside of the apartment area though
Which location in Chiba ?
That's a nice toilet
Cool! What size is that in sqr m or sqr ft?
It’s around 60 square meters sqr
@@Retro-Japan No wonder. It's really spacious.

This is a great apartment! What train line or train station is nearby?
Unfortunately I can’t divulge the specifics without doxxing myself too much haha. The train line passes all the way to Tokyo station though
@@Retro-Japan Wakarimasu! It's a really great set-up, one I wouldn't mind owning. 😀
I was wondering if a foreigner who works in Japan for working visa can rent an apartment in Japan? Or you have to be a resident and citizen first to rent?
Nope you can rent an apartment with a work visa. That’s what I’m on myself!
@@Retro-Japan Thank you so much! I am from the Philippines and will be going to Nagoya one of these days, probably soon. So I was worried if it was possible to rent an apartment with a work visa. Thank you so much! Love your video by the way. I am inspired to work hard so I can live an apartment like that in Japan one day!
That’s great price I just saw a video of a girl that lives in an Internet cafe for $46 a day. It was kinda of sad😢
Hello, can you suggest me any similar listings please 😢
I wish I could but I unfortunately wouldn’t know. It took me months to find this place 😅 however I was using suumo and lifeful homes for searching listings. I think I looked around 5-6 apartments but I’m quite picky so it took a while before I got this.
Is it difficult getting back there past midnight ?
Depends where you are coming from. All trains across Japan usually run until around 12:30. If I was coming from somewhere like Shibuya I could get a last train around 11:30 or so. If I was somewhere like Asakusa it might be a bit later. If I’m more local in Chiba my last train would like be around 12:15
@@Retro-Japan Thanks for the response. I move in 6 weeks and am trying to get a grasp of how far out I could reasonably live to still have a 30-min commute + still have later night transport options.
Can you tell me the location, i am currently house hunting thanks
Chocado, achei super barato pelo tamanho e localizacao o.o
obrigado por assistir ✌️
How much is the round trip train ride to central Tokyo ?
