The lead singer Linda Perry is one of the most underrated singer songwriters ever. She has written for Pink, Dolly and Gwen. This song just grabs you and forces you to sing along. I love your reaction.
I am 72 years old and heard this song by this group for the 1st time about 2 years ago. My reaction to hearing it for the 1st time was very, very much like your reaction. It has become my favorite song of all time, and it brings me to tears every time I hear it now. I have also played this song over and over again. It is soooo emotional and meaningful. Whew.
I have to respectfully disagree with you Sarah. Look at all the good you have done on your channel these past few years, spreading joy to everyone who gets to experience your videos. Your smile and pleasant manner are contagious, and I for one am thankful to be able to check in on you this way from time to time. You are a force for good in this world, and don't you forget it!!
Fantastic song! Can't believe it's been 30 years since it was released. I saw where you just reacted to a Dolly Parton song... well, she recently covered this song along with Linda Perry (the 4non Blondes lead singer). It might not warrant a reaction, but it's a sweet video production worth watching. By the way, great reaction to this original!
Sarah, I just have to say that my best friend in the world passed away about 10 years ago and this was her, or rather one of "our" songs! So glad you did this today and loved it as much as us!! Love you so much, Gaetana, and you rest peacefully, until we meet again, chickie!! We also together totally enjoyed the album by The Counting Crows, August and Everything After, try some, you'll like it!!
Still love this song. The album Bigger, Better, Faster, More! is really good and you should listen to it Linda Perry, so underrated as a singer, she has a fantastic voice
This is a multi-generational , universal song that's relatable to anyone that not just hears, but listens with more than just what it means to them..She absolutely nails its & emotes , with her range & layered vocalize
Sarah it is really enjoyable to see you enjoying that song so much! In my years (I'm old) there's been very few songs I've heard for the first time on the radio and just have to stop and listen. This was one of those songs! Another I hope you'll react to is Canadian singer Jann Arden sing 'Insensitive'. It's masterful and I think you'll love it too.
Im listening to music over 60 yrs Linda Perry has one of the best voices I ever heard. Fantastic song. Too bad it's a one hit wonder. Linda is a great songwriter no doubt still sings. Glad you dug this awesome song so much.
This is a little embarrassing, but I always thought the singer was a guy with really good pipes like Geddy Lee, Geoff Tate, Robin Zander ish. I had only heard them on radio, so I had no idea who they were. It's better to know she's a hot broad.😍
If you love this Song, you should definitely takr a Look at Linda Perrys Visit to the Howard Stern Show - just a few Years after the Song came out. "Linda Perry “What’s Up?” on the Howard Stern Show (1996)" There is also a deeply sad Live-Version of this Song by Linda from 2018 - really beautiful, but very sad in tone... "Linda Perry - "What's Up" - Equality Now's 2018 Make Equality Reality Gala"
Yes, this song is awesome, and Sarah, so are YoU! The way you truly feel the music is an inspiration. Blessings!🎵🙏🏼✌🏼

She also wrote Beautiful for Christina Aguilera 😉
Not underrated. She is in the songwriters hall of fame. She got her flowers. 🎉
Listen the 80's and 90's were magical for music and TV and movies.
One of my 90's favourites!

Wonderful reaction young lady, you felt this song all the way, thanks 😉😊😎
This song just always manages to lift my spirit and leave me in a good mood.

Heard it on release 30 years ago, still love it & the message. Glad it grabbed you too.
I was about to say it wasn't 30 years ago, and then I checked the date of release. Holy crap! Where did that time go? It still sounds so fresh!

Sarah... You made me tear up lol. What a beautiful soul!
Keep up the amazing work Sarah 👍
Nice catch. This is one of the neatest steals in music history. So elegantly done. Linda Perry is pure genius.
Absolutely love your reactions!!!
Another stellar reaction, Sarah. It seems like you've found your anthem for now.
What a great reaction! It's so exciting to watch people discover this song.

Dolly Parton collaborated with Linda Perry on this song for her recent rock album. There is a video for it. More unexpected Dolly Parton!
Masterpiece !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A song for a lifetime, whether your there or struggling to get there🎶🎶🎶 Best of luck👀👀👀
She is up there in a vocal category near Paul McCartney in his prime.
Hi Sarah, very good choice. Each time i'm listening this song i've goosebumps to ! Enjoyed moment from France...see you 😊
Yeah, I fell in love immediately as well. 😉♥

Good voice thx Sarah
Excellent song. Thank you
I fear for the future of musical variety, where are the modern bands like 4Non Blondes ?
Ive always loved her voice
Awesome!
Sarah, you underestimate yourself. I sub over sixty reaction channels and you are one of the best I watch. Your reactions are super.
Try Superfly by them ! Absolutely awesome ! By the way we love you !
the best
Love your smile darling
This song is so relatable to most people, i find it so at 69.
I love you terribly!

I had only heard them on radio, so I had no idea who they were.
It's better to know she's a hot broad.😍
Do Dear Mr. President next, nobody reacts to this but they should.
No, it's not for "everybody," this song is about how MEN OPPRESS WOMEN! The "men's" institution... it's "4 Non-Blondes" what does that tell you?
Song soooo good, it should be a National Anthem for The United Nations since they don’t really know “What’s Going on” 😅😂😭

I guarantee you will cry...
didnt catch the name of the nigerian singer you mentioned
Aṣa
Some voice. She should sing more, produce more for herself.
