The issue here is, as was shown in the first tweet, some people dont consider said topic politics. As such this puts the vtuber or streamer into a bind. If they ban the topic under politics they are going to piss off people and have to deal with the consequences, if they dont then it opens doors for other political topics too. Pretty much a complete lose lose situation.

It's a pure lazy demand of someone to have someone go out of their way to prove their own argument. Which breaks a golden rule of debate. Burden of proof lies on the person making the argument and thus they are required to be the one to provide evidence that what they propose is true. Demanding the opposing side to prove your argument true is intellectual laziness or at worst malicious when used to make demands of that side on the assumption that your side is just naturally true until they can prove it wrong.
But seriously a lot of people do not want to talk about politics or the goings-on of the world they just want to be a comfy streamer, let the person be a comfy streamer.
There's a lot of fake accounts pushing people to fight using the conflict because lots of young eyes are on vtubing. We've already seen it early on when all these dead accounts suddenly start annoying people over their stance on the war.

Israelis have been slowly taking their land over the years, and by help of the UK and US, Israel is now mass killing civilians, starving them, displaced from their homes. If you care, please look at the ICJ Case from South Africa, they documented a whole case on how Israel is breaking humanitarian laws.

To be fair, even if this world event IS serious and absolutely deserves attention, barging into a streamer's chat like that is not a correct way of doing it. If you were to inform a streamer about it, it's better to @ them on social medias, inform them about what's wrong, and then link in relevant information to make it easier for them to learn further.
There's no power in that in their eyes, though. It's sad, but true.

Two things about this; firstly campaigning for people to take action (boycott) with the intended outcome to alter the actions of a political entity (Israeli government) is political in nature and thus political. Anyone arguing that it isn't is either lying or stupid.
Second; there have been multiple military conflicts that have resulted in, and are still resulting in, the deaths of civilians before the Palestine/Israel conflict escalated as well as many straight acts of ethnic genocide around the world. Where these people crowing about boycotting companies with (alleged) ties to these acts also advocating on behalf of those victims? Lobbying their relevant representatives in government to take action? Yeah I didn't think so. Ignoring the pointless performative aspect of these sorts of boycotts; I can stand people like this that claim moral superiority because they're taking non-action in an issue they only care about because it's in the news and/or trending on Twitter.
And that's not even considering the absolute nonsense that this whole fuss is over an anime woman buying a cake.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was a deliberate attack by the "Nijisisters" in an attempt to provoke Scarle to say/do something to ruin her good PR she got as a result of her actions/in an action during the Selen/Doki thing or get Anycolor to step in, tug that leash and get her to yield, possibly even get her terminated since that a kurosanji thing to do over petty things with talents they might have issues with. Why are people there saying stuff like "it's not politics"? It's literally about a boycott (aka embargo), it doesn't get more political (when keeping things peaceful).
Even if it was not about that, the whole thing is considered political due to america.
And even if they did not do that, I don't think there is many things more political than a government taking violent actions against another state or against some ethnicity (hence that "keeping things peaceful" criteria before). The whole term means _it is inherently political,_ at least since it was not done by a single crazy individual (and even then it probably would be).

@@ShiraKonanBecause they know that most people (if they're engaged in politics at all) want a strong divide between their personal life and their politics, because everyone understands it's a touchy subject and we need to figure out how to live amongst each other without killing each other (which is why politicizing the masses was a cruel thing to do to a populace, but that's beside the point), but the problem is that their identity is so wrapped up in their politics (and they probably really, _really_ want to kill people who disagree with them) that they have to erase that distinction under any circumstance.

I don’t think the Starbucks boycott even makes sense, they don’t have any stores in Israel only neighbouring countries.
