DC's sound is honest, unedited, her musical soul drapes you like a Long Island summer's night. Stillness, post-dusk clarity, atmospheric. She summons the trees, wind, the smells of crisp green grass, with a spark as gentle but profound as fireflies ascending. She is, yet she isn't- her life force is total zen. Wish I could play the ankle bells like she can...
I had the privilege to see Diane last month in Nevada City with cellist Isabel Castellvi and it was by far the most powerful musical experience of my life. I was sitting on a couch not four feet from them. Their harmonies were like the echoing song of a simpler time and the music was raw, a force of nature. I definitely recommend seeing her if you have the opportunity!
I stumbled upon Diane Cluck about 15 minutes ago. I saw a clip of her sing a Connie Converse song. And then good ol' UA-cam took me to this Tiny Desk Concert. Most enjoyable.
I don't know how many times I listened to Oh Vanille, the year it was released. Strange, and amazing to see someone perform on video after just listening them on repeat. A John Peel live session would have been great. But I'm sure his ghost is still listening everytime music like this is played.
Discovered her song easy to be around about 20minutes ago and I'm completely obsessed.
So am I. I was searching for Connie Converse and I found her.
The way she hits and moves between certain notes is so peculiar and unique, it's so beautiful
She's totally amazing.
DIANE CLUCK IS A GIFT TO THIS EARTH
Uni Brainwasher she is
I agree.
100%

Diane Cluck has been a salve and blessing to me for 10 years. In my book, she goes down in the music greats. Thank you, Diane.

Wow!
One of the few artists that I deeply want to see live, she's amazing beyond words
karim me too, one of my dreams!
I saw her at a vintage shop in Saratoga Springs back in like 2006, had no idea who she was and was COMPLETELY blown away. Loved her ever since.
This woman is authentic, vulnerable, and very wise.
This version of Grandma Say is so perfect. The third verse brings to me tears.
she's so underrated
maybe an acquired taste but undeniably amazing...
the vocals (and bells!) in the last song are very magical indeed
I'm glad she is finally getting some recognition from NPR! She is fantastic.
She is and I regret that I became aware of her only half an hour ago.
@@goldtown6747i only found her around a week ago!

Most enjoyable.
Got chills on a summer day. Amazing voice and talent. The way she bends the notes when she sings is dizzying.
I love grandma say, I really want to live my life that way. Timeless advice.
From completely unknown to one of my favourite voices in music in three days.
Pure and raw. Love the way NPR sets up these artists in a room that seems not at all too "set."
Stripped down and genuine. Really enjoyed it.
I love her voice so much.
Beautiful, original and intelligent, both the music and performer
I love her lilting twangy vocals
She's absolutely amazing.
Your statements about Diane's presence/stage presence is completely accurate, i love it.
