- Time for some more true crime black metal history.
This case is a small gem about a basically unknown beef in the early black metal scene.
~~~
The conflict between Varg Vikernes of Burzum and Øystein Aarseth of Mayhem, leading ultimately to the former killing the later, as well as the many church burnings in Norway during the 90's are well known by now. What is lesser known is that Mayhem, Burzum and other norwegian black metal bands at the time held severe hatred towards the swedish band Therion culminating in actual violence.
Dead is not a Norwegian singer ... He's Swedish
Remember that this was in the early 90s. Dead wasn't as known as today and there was no internet.
@@solaris9250Han var Svensk! Hängde med hans lillebror ett gäng gånger!
@@darmhamotion5253kul, såg du att han var med i dokumentären om black metal som gick på svt?
@@solaris9250 nej jag en anonym person med stark återhållning för socialisering.
Men BM scenen var inte stor på 90 talet.
Dead is dead. He lived in Norway so he was norwegian by modern standards. Alla som åker tunnelbana i Stockholm osv.
Thanks for the info on this Maria.
Greve Grisnacke 🤣😂
Interesting video. Everyone has probably heard about the main events in norway (way too many times), but there's a lot of stuff that happened in the 90s bm scene in other countries too.
Maybe you could make videos on other stuff as well, since the production quality is so good, it was an entertaining watch.
@@iglumajor thank you. More is coming!
great video, very nice to hear something new and interesting about old bm scene
💪
Great video!
That he did : a note stuck with a knife on the front door which begun with the words : " Hello ,Victim ! This is the Count " \m/
