The Beast was a deep cut, it is the same voice actor who voices the original Sutekh and the beast, who is also back (at 90 years old) to voice sutekh again
This was my favourite episode of the season for sure
😊 hey quick explanation. Carla pointed at the amorphus blob and said I know where that is. That’s the beast. A few seconds later, the hooded figure turned and pointed towards the doctor and that’s when the doctor said she’s pointing at me why is she pointing at me? That’s where the confusion came into play. Also, personally, I don’t think she was pointing at the doctor. I think she was pointing at the tardis or at least a little bit past the tardis as if she was pointing at the cloud at least that’s what I think
😮 before the end of the season, I was thinking that some of these story plots were going to get resolved now since prior it was said that Millie Gibson was not going to be here past this season. Now that it is known that she is going to be sticking around, I actually have no idea if any of these things are gonna be resolved outside of sutekh. Remember that Ncuti is going to be around for at least two more seasons so possibly this season is nothing but a set up season for plots that will be developed later. But on top of all that I do believe there is going to be a payoff on the next episode with the god of death maybe not permanent but pay off.
There is an Easter with the beast as the same actor who voiced Sutak also voiced the Beat in the impossible planet/Satan and the pit

This was definitely a great episode and the best one of this season.
I think you are conflating two separate things happening. The doctor saying she was pointing at him wasn’t about Carla it was about the cloaked figure. Carla WAS referring to the creature, swirling vortex thing
