"There's always a twist at the end!"
Why has nobody mentioned HECUBA the sister of the toymaker? In The Queen of Time " it mentions "Somewhere outside our universe, she is waiting. A God like immortal, living in a realm of clocks. The hours tick slowly by as she plots and plans. She is readying her trap. A trap for a very special man in a very special police box". That covers both the one who waits and the ageless enemy.
My theory is that she’s Rubys Mother, as Ruby is able to manipulate time too but, i do think she’s also the one who placed Susan Twist all over time as a warning to the doctor of the coming threat, she’s a mother protecting her child and who better to protect than the doctor. I think Rubys Father is Death, with Susan Triad in his grasp trying to release death on the universe. Susan a Harbinger of her own demise
So RTD released 5 episodes to watch and it fits my theory!
“Spearhead from Space Features the Nestene Consciousness” and “The Bells of Saint John” features the Great Intelligence. These are gods knows as the Great Old Ones, A Pantheon of Gods who originate from “Ancestral Universes” created before the current one. The Pantheon of Discord is a lesser known subgroup derived from the Great Old Ones. The toymaker mentions to the Doctor “A Pantheon within a Pantheon” during “the Giggle”.
So far the Story is that during “Wild Blue Yonder” the doctor interfered with the unknown which he regrets instantly. Opening up the Possibilities of the Impossible which released the Pantheon of Discord into the Year 1925. Giving them Plenty of time to plan shown during the Giggle from the Toymaster and Maestro Destroying Earth in the Alternate timeline.
The Toymaster also has a Sister, Hecuba. Queen of Time, has the ability to manipulate time and control the tardis. She also loves to play games with toys. During the season we hear the tardis “groaning”. The doctor unsure what this is. During “Parting of the Ways” we see rose absorb time and space and briefly control it to her wants. I believe that she tries to control the tardis as we see the tardis getting scanned in the trailer. Also could be the reason they’re using a bike to get across London. A Time window is also known to be in the next episode.
During this Season we see Ruby manipulating time around her, making slight or major changes, creating Time Mirages when she’s emotional and it always connects to the Day she was abandoned on “The Church of Ruby Road”.
Furthermore, During Space babies we see the memory again, but the Mother has changed time during that memory to warn off the doctor. Reassuring that she is Hecuba.
I also believe that Hecuba is the One Who Waits, During “The Devils Chord” we hear Maestro mention that this power can only be his, then becomes terrified to meddle in their affairs.
Susan Twist I feel has played and lost to Hecuba, become her toy and been cast through time to watch Ruby.
As during “The Giggle” the Toymaster Mentions the one who waits and ran as that’s someone else’s game.
And finally onto “A Good Man Goes To War”. 1 phrase. “Demons Run when a good man goes to war” this episode shows how far the Doctor will go to protect his friends.
But the Tardis groaned before the doctor used the salt in wild blue yonder
@@ScoobyandShaggy5554 that’s due to Donna spilling coffee on it, you see the tardis return fixed. The groaning is a sign of pain, being a sentient entity of Time and Space. Reason doctor acts surprised in the devils chord and this time he’s unsure why she’s in pain.
The Two instances are unrelated. Also 14th Doctor has that Tardis. 15 has the newest.
If the model of the villain of the Finale requires puppeteering, I think the Beast fits the bill. Ncuti did say he wants his Doctor to face the Beast so he could have gotten his wish. Could also be a villain like Sutekh or the Trickster who could appear as or project themselves as a very tall individual.

Judging by Radio Times, I guess Mel played by Bonnie Langford ,she either gets killed. As Bonnie mentions this be her last time playing Mel (TV) probably she be back in Big Finsh Productions

I have a feeling that we may see Fourteen again in Empire of Death, and yes I know that he is retired with the Noble family and I know what everyone is going to say but please just hear me out on this. So I know the Doctor can't help himself if there is an evil force trying to take over the world, but I get why Fourteen would feel okay to no longer intervene under normal circumstances because he knows Fifteen is out there to solve the problem. But if the enemy is so incredibly powerful and literally the entire universe is at stake, which is obviously going to be the case in this upcoming feature-length, cinematic finale, then maybe it is too much for just one Doctor to take care of it. I don't care how happy he feels in rehab, Fourteen IS going to get involved if the threat is as monumental and apocalyptic as it is being hyped up to be. He is right there on Earth ready to go if something goes terribly wrong, and I guarantee you he would go and help out Fifteen if the situation is so massive and like a said before, too much for just one Doctor to handle. I feel like they are still hiding a couple of people from the cast list in order to keep their involvement hidden so it is a surprise when they show up during the episode. Also, why didn't Ruby being from June or July 2024 during The Devil's Chord not make any sense?
RTD has posted that David's time is over, He won't return.
@@RavenThom Actors and writers of various movies or TV shows have denied countless times in the past that they will be a part of them, only to then be a part of it after all, so I feel like it is a well known fact at this point that they have proven time and time again that we cannot just take their words for it and that's it.
@@adammarrs9266It’s a nice thought, and does make logical sense within the show, I just don’t think it would happen. I think I’m even ok with this as well, if David came back every time from now on that 15 fights a massive enemy, it would be really repetitive.
@@t.d.i8954 I do hear what you are saying, and yeah that is a very good point. I'm sure there can be some kind of explanation as to why Fourteen isn't there to help out sometimes depending on the threat level. I've heard a few theories going around that there could be a spinoff series focusing on his rehab with the Noble family. I think that is a perfect idea because then Tennant could come back as Fourteen in his own series without overshadowing Ncuti's Fifteen a lot of the time in the main show so yeah. I guess we'll have to see what happens though, either way I am really hyped up for the finale!

he’s given us some personality, and would be happy to list it out if you like, but yes I agree that I would also want more. We can’t judge it perfectly however as it is only his first season with two doctor lite episodes.
