Nice job, its no wasy task, making a Commissar with no Commissar parts is something Ive done a couple of time, actually now I think about it both times were for Drop Troop regiments, both caparace armoured but in vey different and made about 20 years apart.
Really cool conversion. I'd recommend trying some Nivea hand cream for sculpting. It's a total game changer. Keeps your tools really slick for much longer than water and doesn't require cleaning off before painting like vaseline.
Edit: forgot to say, good video! If you want to chop with a knife invest in a Stanley knife, i see so many channels (including super legit ones like Pete the Wargamer and Cult of Paint) struggle with hobby knives/scalpels and watch them bend and nearly snap like it's a 'Forged in Fire' challenge haha. Stanley Knives chop through any hard plastic like butter, you just need to watch out for the plastic bits pinging off onto the floor!
Nice video keep up the good work! You doing great content. I can see it, you will have in near future a lot of subs. And whats the name of your dog, im sure hes a good boy.
He looks like he already owes the ad mech for some of his bodily upgrades? I'm shure magos biologis 0s1r1s has nothing to do with it and the current mission.
The Martian 'agent' - Magus Magnusson - known for their extensive and unrelenting questioning and thirst for knowledge. The orders to locate and 'take down' the constructs have been relayed and received by the Commissar, but the additional recent transmission received (hence the pacing and consideration on the new orders in the Commissar's hand being compared against the mission logs and briefings recorded in the book) - where there is an 'unquestionable requirement' that is cause for worry for Comm. Miley - where if unfulfulled is punishable by something worse than death; sentence of servitor conversion therapy. This explains the Commissar's concern, fragile interaction with this and any Magi and the notes of worry in his voice
@@LizardofDoom I'll be honest I had to dial back and delete some of what I was writing, as I was writing it as it was lore that I would be giving, forgetting it's your lore to make lol
@@LizardofDoom ok so my original comment stands however here's the 'deleted scenes' - The Martian agent is posing as a 'radical' Magus willing to defy the orders and conventions of Mars and the Mechanicum - similar in the way radical inquisitor employee somewhat questionable methods - same principle here (this is a setup piece to the lore). The 'unquestionable requirement' is the recovery of the Machine Spirits, not necessarily the chassis' themselves, so there is an expectation/command to keep throwing small arms at the War machines, so that damage is kept low to the entirety of the constructs, but can immobilize these titans for 'Logical Omnisihic Extractions' (to rip these Machine spirits from their mechanized bodies - this is procedure is not known to the Commissar, but he has suspicions that all the sacrifices of men are for something potentially more than resolving a threat since they are unsupported by anything he is permitted to requisite from fellow divisions/companies/etc and its being kept somewhat covert). This will result in a metric f**ktonne of deaths and casualties for a Magio that may or may not be loyalist or renegade. The rub is that Comm Miley has alerted the Inquisition about this and is aware that the issue is escalating and has ended up in the middle of the questionable Magi and the Inquisition's desire to mind-flay everyone/everything to find answers. The 'extra security' he has acquired has been from the Inquisition as both an investigative force and supportive arms, but has been made clear should anything not be sanctioned by the Inquisition - which he doesn't know now whats going on with the Magus now attending - is causing a puckered orifice to be encountered lmao
@@adhenry1880 an interesting assessment for sure , I 100% think you’re the person that’s thought the most about it but I believe you’ve missed one small detail 😉
Another great video, you'd never know you're just starting out with UA-cam. Brilliant kitbash too, it looks absolutely epic, and fits right in between the rest! Lovely thumbnail as well, although I'm not sure who I prefer: Commissar Lizard von Doom, or Guardsman Max ;) don't do that too often, or we'll start to expect these high quality cosplays ;)

Hi mate, I do not have a video on that topic yet, at the moment I’m focused on my big diorama series but after that as a break between big projects I’m going to be doing a bunch of stand alone videos, is there anything you want an opinion on in particular? 🙂
@@LizardofDoom that's very kind to ask. It feels sometimes when I'm painting there must be a better brush for the job, but I just don't know what it is. Strangely the medium sized brushes give me the biggest problem. Size 4 and up.
@@LizardofDoom just larger areas. Such as a breastplate or a wing. I usually use a size 4 flat brush for something like that but the paint looks irregular, blotchy (army painter), as if I can't get an even coat. I wonder if the bristles are too soft or too long. Should I get nylon brushes? But I don't see anyone else using those.

18:39 he’s looking at a map for STC. And since we are getting a tech priest of mars I’ll suggest the name: Magi Cfinger
thats the beauty of kitbashing and custom minis, nobody will ever have this exact one but you and you will love him all the more
🙌
I...I did not expect a Knight to be the first kit involved
“Let’s build a commissar, now get your imperial knight out for the first step 😂”
When you're doing a bit of light reading, and you nearly run into the leg of a renegade knight.
I love him. He looks like Marshall Law! Well done!
What a mega conversion! Really portrays that krieg vibe in a fitting way!

Just brilliant! Concept; model and stick joke. Love it!

You made commissar smiley sound scared and fearful, commissars are badass, they shouldn't talk like that, they are the wrath of the emperor
In the last video he was a boss, the person on the phone obviously scared him

Imperial Commander Dav(id) Ross … hence the voice “distortion”
so Im going to be honest I really didn't think that hat was working until it was painted and now it is awesome
Excellent job! Commisar S. Miley looks like he's ready to kick names and take ass!
I accidentally made a servitor commisar without any commisar bits.

Awesome work man. He probably could of used a collar but good idea with the tomb kings bit. It gave me some ideas
The end of the video screams "I'm here to reach you about your Knights extended warranty."
Genuinely made me laugh 😂
the hat came out so well!
you made that kit bash look easy👍
Honestly, it went a lot smoother than I thought it would, everything just lined up first time!
With that voice it has to be Davros, Sweeeeeeet conversion
Nice kit bash!
Korps (corps) is pronounced like "core"
Until after the battle. Then it's definitely corpse.
Good argument, However, the OG commisar with dangly shoulders and fancy coat was drippy as fuck, and Drip is better than Being tactical
I respect that 😂 ain’t no one asking “who’s in charge here?” You just know.
this looks really good, great work
Splendid! I love that Commissar S. Miley got call from EV-9D9.
I'm sorry I'm a year to late.
Ooh I have this kit! Those are input plugs to connect the pilot to the manifold I think. I think I'll kit bash my pilot into a Skitarii Marshal.

That's not just ANY book he's reading, it's only an Uplifting Primer😅😅😅

When you said a diorama in a diorama, it sounded like you'd like you'd made a diorama of a few of the dioramas in Trazyn's collection.
😂 hey check back in a few years, I’ll probably of made as many as Tarzyn by then
Nice!
🥳
Davros, creator of the Daleks. XD Seriously though, nice build.

Thank you :)

Liked and subscribed just for the intro xD
Much obliged 😂
