I love your fashion design you are by far the most skilled teacher at making cloths. I can't wait to learn some of the more advanced actual cloth production and joining techniques. I have a black and white Calvin Klein baggy sweatshirt that I payed a hundred dollars for that I would reproduce and screen print the logo and stripes myself for hopefully alot less money... Selling CK cloths boys!!!! They will never know the difference! ;P well... I figure it's that or I could just become a mobile change machine that carries hundreds of one's all over charging two dollars per ten.. lol

When I saw the finished product on the thumbnail I thought it would be a cool way to make a top with some proper boob space, but if the lining is just a straight piece like that, it doesn't have that space. But I guess one could modify it in a way that makes it work like that.
Hey, Ally, quick question: I'm a beginner in sewing (well, a beginner on a sewing machine, but I've been hand sewing for years) and I want to make some more modest outfits (so, no knees showing and no low front or backs) and I was wondering if you had any tutorials for those kinds of outfits or have any recommendations for channels with more modest outfits.
Hi, I hope you've kept up on sewing! I'd recommend Rosery Apparel as a channel to watch. You can always adjust hemlines to be longer, and it takes a little more pattern knowledge, but it becomes very easy to make necklines and backs higher too.

What should I change if I prepare a non scratchy fabric?🤍🤍
okay quick question- i don’t have many craft/fabric stores with me and i really don’t want to add to the carbon footprint of ordering online, so would this work with no boning? none of my craft stores had any and i was looking to make this top without it! thank you :)
Try using zip ties instead of boning!
What if i use non stretchy fabric, do I use the same measurements? Or I have to adjust them?
maybe measure yourself and double check if it would align, the ruffled part should turn out similar if u use the same size. definitely use a zipper or a closure of some sort, otherwise you cant get it over your shoulders! hope it helps

I wanna try making this. But I don't have a stretchy knit fabric, just normal cotton fabric. Would I still be able to make this top? Just add a couple inches or so to make up for the stretch? Would that work?
It should work if you add a zipper to the back instead of making it slip-on!
