One of my favourite shows is disappearing off Netflix, but I have the episodes saved on my harddrive. Thank you for showing me how I can still watch them on my TV! You rock. :)
Thank you! I had trouble because when I clicked the icon bottom right there were only three options. I had to click "Expand" to show all the other options including the "connection" button. Now that I have mine expanded and showing a bunch of additional options, the "expand" link says "collapse". So there's a toggle to show or hide which some viewers may not know about but is rather important. I'm glad I didn't give up - works awesome!
This worked great! Connected my windows 10 laptop to the LG OLED TV in less than 10 seconds. Came here after unsuccessfully trying to connect using LG's on screen guide and their support web site.
@@NicolasSilvaVasault yeah the only PC to game on is in the office. I'm thinking of just moving it when we want to play games in the living room so I don't have to keep it in there. HDMI runs. Max of 50 feet and I think it may be too far for a long cable.
Thank you so much! I always thought they both had to be connected on the same wifi to work. I recently got my LG TV so I'm still working out on how to do things like dual monitoring with my laptop and you my friend had made it so easier for me to learn how to. Thank you so much!
I love you. No homo. Took me 2 min to connect my PC to my LG TV, before I had to use a longass HDMI Cable that was connected from my pc to TV, it will save me a lot of time and space, thx!
For those on Windows 11: 1. Open Screen Share on the TV. 2. On the laptop: A. Open Settings -> Display -> Multiple Displays -> Click Connect -> Select the LG TV or B. Press Windows key + K and select the LG TV. 3. Press "Accept" on the TV.
It's good and Working as you Show at home. But I used it in Our workplace it took some difficulty to connect and I browse more wireless connectivity products and I found prijector its review was good and more features, and I tried meeting made easy wirelessly
I couldn't get it to work at first, but what I found works is : Turn off TV Turn on laptop Disable WiFi Turn on TV Put TV in share screen mode Turn on WiFi on laptop Whilst WiFi booting up, click the connect to WiFi TV button. You should see the TV and connect, but it has to be done quickly and in the above order
Great! Thanks. I installed the wi-fi thing that came with my motherboard to my motherboard, and it works. The LG OLED65E6V is stuck at 1080p for now. Hoping for 4K after reboot / tweaking. Always wanted to be able to mirror my workstation to the large screen. Extend to and use as monitor 5 works too. :)
Hello. When I press inputs there is no "Screen Share" option. My configuration: LG LF630V, WebOS: 04.05.56. Does the TV need to have Miracast? Thank you?
this is the best video to connect your windows 10 laptop to ur LG smart tv i tried other videos and none worked, and i learn othere features must wach VIDEO Homes!!!
I've been trying to set this up 'cold turkey' on my mother in laws TV and failed twice. I should be ALL set after watching this video. Thanks very much
Hey there! I used to connect my laptop to the tv like that but after a few weeks it’s not working anymore 😭everything is just fine but when I click connect it says something went wrong ...what should I do?
Also my case. An old laptop woth Windows 8 connected without problems. A new one with Windows 10 and all drivers updated... no way to connect my LG TV. (November 2019)
My laptop Lenovo (windows 10) doesn't want to connect to my LG tv using screen share. step 2:20 on your tutorial. I did it many times in the past but today it doesn't work. It says ''Can't connect''. I am on Miracast /Intel WiDi, should I remove it. ?
Thanks for this, unfortunately with my Panasonic tv its super laggy and the screen flickers quite a bit which was very tiring for my eyes. I think I should look at an actual second computer monitor as a pref over this option.
If you want to listen to your audio through your computer speakers instead or through headphones just click the speaker icon in the bottom righthand corner of your screen and select the output source as your default computer audio system.
BRO I SUCSSES THE CONNECTING BUT THE LG TV SHOWS ME ONLY THE DESKTOP WITHOUT ANY APPLACTION OF MY PC ITS SHOWING THE MOUSE MOVING THE PIC OF DESKTOP AND THE toolbar on the bottom but if i open google chrome or any app on my pc its dosent showing me on tv u know what can i do?
when it asks me to connect on the tv (after finding the tv on the laptop), it says 'failed to connect - try again later'.... just as I press 'yes' on the tv controller. :-( pulling my hair out...
I have a Smart TV Samsung 32" KLD 40WE665, both my laptop and TV are connected to the same wifi router but when it comes to connect it via wifi with the TV it says "couldn't connect". I also can't find that option "Screen Share" in the TV! Any help ?
You kindly replied to my query a couple of days back, telling me to persevere and try several times, if the connection doesn't happen first time. I have been trying for months ! My LG tv tells me I can view my device's screen on the tv, but my device (laptop) won't play ball. Sigh....
This is one of the few moments where I genuinely appreciate a great solution to a tech problem. Thank you, so much.

Wish I knew that before Pokemon XY and XYZ went off Netflix
thanks so much! after struggling for an hour with LG's obtuse instructions you got me up and running in half a minute.

Been tearing my hair out trying to use Wi-Fi Direct on my new LF smart TV until I came across this video
Worked first time, so easy - Brilliant
Have you found it laggy? I am thinking perhaps it might work better to connect it via lan? My tv is a Panasonic though, not LG.
@@MaZEEZaM any wireless will be laggy a little.
Thanks for the superb Video! Forums said connecting win10 to LG tv will never work, but turns out disabling hbbtv will solve that problem. 10/10
What is hbbtv? And gow can i disable it??
This finally allows me to play steam on my TV, THANK YOU!!
Was it super laggy? Just bought a tv and I wanna game too.
is not that simple, is a laggy experience
@@NicolasSilvaVasault well guess I'm moving the PC in the living room ugh

Thank you so much! Watched about 50 videos trying to solve this. Watching kodi movies from my PC to the tv
Thank you. No sound is sent to the TV, however. An additional step of pairing my Bluetooth soundbar to bypass the TV worked though.
