I had been trying to do this w/ my desktop PC that has a "physical" connection to my internet router, but could never get the wifi turned on for that reason so w/ your video, I decided to try my wireless laptop via wifi and your instructions was straight forward and worked. Thanks! Wish I could set up my desktop to do the same, but I'm guessing that I'd have to drop my physical connection to router to get on the wifi network to pair.

I got the device before I knew it was possible to share the screen without it. We have been using it with our work computers for about 7 or so months, as soon as we want to share - both options would come up automatically. However, now I have to remove both screencast and my tv from my bluetooth options (in my laptop settings) in order to share - each and every time. My aripods and bose speaker stay connected to my laptop. Is there a way to connect the screencast devise and tv in a way that we don't have to unpair them and ask bluetooth to find them again - when we want to use them?

I am sitting on the couch and the laptop is across the room next to my TV. Not very convenient. I have seen video that show they are using the TV REMOTE to control the screen. You should try disconnect and then connect again your wifi router from the power supply, i was having the same problem but that fix it. I was able to screen mirrorring.

Yes, you can connect a ps5 controller with bluetooth and cast your pc to a TV. Just play steam with big picture mode
