- This door panel is from a 1987 Toyota Pickup, that I showed how to disassemble in a previous video. Today I'm going to super clean this door card and restore it using every day common cleaning supplies and cheap products:

Great video! I currently have the interior of my '92 4runner completely gutted so I can do an insulation install. I already pressure washed the carpet and the floor mats since they're out, but wasn't sure how to attack the door panels... This is an excellent starting point. Thanks!

Mr. Clean majic eraser and vinyl wrap goes over all that stuff amazingly. Them pockets dont come off at all? I may have missed that part.
Never thought of using Mr. Clean Erasers... I've used them around the house and they're amazing. The pockets don't appear to come off.
@@6thGearGarage damn i had wondered if they did woulda made wrapping them a lil easier. Yea my wife has a whole bag of them things ive seen her use them on all sorts of stuff shes the stain master shes dutch aswell lol

I have not, They seem to be very rare.
@@6thGearGarage Dang..I can never find any maroon interior pieces and my 4runners interior is maroon
@@skidaddleskadoodle563 I think Maroon is more rare than Blue. I'd keep an eye on ebay.
why dont you try applying venus blue dye a water base dye on fabric and carpet

I’ll bet this door panel wasn’t really found in an old barn. I’ll bet it was in immaculate condition to begin with and he worked in some dirt and put on some grime here and there that he knew would come off easily. Well played sir but I saw right through it. Nice production though.
