That setup kill against the inquisitor was a piece of art XD Well done! Actually learned quite a bit from how to set off explosives without using actions!
A trick that still works from EA is surrounding a future enemy in chests so they can't move, then using fog cloud. You count as constantly in stealth while in the cloud, meaning (on a time limit) it's possible to kill a lot of neutral NPCs without entering combat unless your rolls (stealth and attack) suck. They'll do the animation for their health recovery ability, but as long as you hit them again before their turn it doesn't do anything.
This is hilarious. I can't believe your blind playthrough is essentially a level 1 run. I'm glad you did one act at a time cause I'm not nearly far enough and I know I'd end up watching the whole thing through.
Only the mountain pass / underdark boat on was new to me. But yeah I might prioritize this playthrough and have it be my first full run of the game. I like the combination of not worrying about gaining experience, but also needing to use creative strategies to beat literally every combat. Everything one shots me in act 2…
@@Fracture.Gaming Ahh, I see. If you go with the levelling curve, the game becomes pretty much trivial past level 5 on tactician. Haven't had a down since doing the gnolls at level 3. I'm gonna do a challenge run soon too, full evil durge, no companions, the entire game on tactician with 1 character. Probably going to be a lot easier in some regards to this, but in others might also be harder since I can't send myself supplies or do weird multi-character cheeses. Overall still a lot easier than what you're doing I imagine.
If you explore the forge area you can get some decent gear to help you out and the battle for the gear can be easily won with environmental effects, you can also snag your first runepowder bomb and an amulet that grants shatter
I'm actually loving all the little tips like this one. So many great supplies that I missed but can still go back for! It's cool that Act 1 and 2 are connected.
@@Fracture.Gaming I hope you actually complete the game in this manner, I typed a long list of tips earlier but it never went through, so here they are again. I'll keep it super vague to avoid spoilers but still keep the important info you might need. 1. Chest of Mundane should no longer work in Act 3 and it will turn all the items permanently into dishes, at first glance you might be mad, but upon further investigation you will be enlightened to the fact that all consumables(bombs, etc.) have now become dishes with explosive yields. In other words, Larian, please don't patch my exploding dishes. 2. The Arcane Tower has a very nice support staff that can help you turn the tide of some battles, you'll know you found the staff once you read its upgraded spell(Bless). I wasn't sure if you grabbed it in the video, so just in case. 3. In Act 2, during the Shadowheart stuff, I highly recommend you equip your best weapons on your main character and Shadowheart. I do not know why but my Blood of Lathander(equipped on main) and some very rare ring(equipped on Shadowheart) were imitated by one of the mini quests and I had a legendary imitation and a nice ring added. The mini quest involved fighting yourself. I don't think this is a spoiler, I feel like it's vague enough. 4. Chest of Mundane again, after the chest bugs out, the dangerous dishes will also react slightly differently with explosions. Usually when you pile up bombs they explode push outwards explode again and so on(great for crowds, bad for bosses). However, the dishes have their own rules and when piled the explosion is concentrated and only slightly pushed outwards. This is a problem if you wanna one shot a boss but they are pushed away on the initial blast, but you can actually use this concentrated blast and make the bombs even more effective by simply dropping a void bulb or two into your "special" backpack and cause this terrific device to repeatedly pull enemies into this highly concentrated ball of energetic dishes. 5. In Act 3, there is a "character" that can be continuosly pickpocketed as long as no one else sees it and there are no consequences. This character has access to everything you may need to beat the game at Lvl 1. I wouldn't necessarily call this an exploit though since the character isn't really a person, so maybe they just don't care. 6. In Act 3, you can find a staff that lets you use necromancy spells without expending a spell slot, finding the staff is surprisingly easy considering how OP it is. Also, someone may have mentioned it but keep the Necromancy of Thay on you, you'll want it. That is all for now, I wish you luck and look forward to your journey.
Act 1 I do pretty okay in, the main thing is, they throw numbers at you. So if you can burst down targets quick to thin numbers out the better. XD Try not to spread damage around too much unless it makes tactical sense. I struggled a bit more in the next area, enemies get buffed up a bit, especially if you are like me and wasnt running a magical team. I struggle with the Gnoll fight the most… havent been able to save those 2 guys once… I was able to get the ever burn blade though.
@@XFizzlepop-Berrytwist if you approach the gnolls from the front of the cave, not form inside, they will aggro on you and you should be able to kill them this way without the guys dying.. in an ideal scenario that is
This was a blast to watch, I can't wait to see how you fair in Act 2 and 3. There are some difficult fights even with a leveled party in those area's. I also love you aren't just using game breaking exploits to skip major parts and are trying to play the whole game with this challenge. That deserves some major respect!
Speaking of throwing build for Lae'zel. I turned Halsin into my throw builder and gave him as much Jump Distance as possible and this man can jump from the ground to the 4th floor balcony's on some buildings. MAN CAN FLY
When dealing with Ethel - If you use any form of water on the Cage (to put the fire out) - It will show where Mayrina is (look for the wet debuff). When she summons her illusions - Ethel is ALWAYS the one further away AND the one that ISN'T wet! This way you could have dealt with the adds BEFORE fighting her!
@@EJHigz That won't get you the Ability point sadly. You have to fight her to trigger her begging. :( In doing so she will either summon all of her allies - Or illusions (if you have killed her allies).
11:09 I’m surprised you didn’t use the other mushroom circle in Auntie Ethel’s place to get the under dark it’s in the tunnel where the poison is, behind another illusory door north of it. It brings you out in between the Selunite Outpost and the Arcane Tower
You can take the Blood of Lanthander if you insert the crest you got earlier in the creche. The quest to get it is actually pretty easy to do without combat you just have to gather the 4 weapons in the circular room, get the crest and bring it with you.
im a bit late but you can also use normal weapons instead of the ceremonial ones, as long as they're the same type. at least it worked for my friend a few months ago@@JohnSmith-bs9ym
I found your channel yesterday and binged your videos for like 2 hours straight. You produce awesome, unique content. Please keep it up, the world needs you.
I had found the chest of the mundane, but had no idea about the carry weight. What a killer tip! As a professional video game hoarder this is a tip I won't forget. Great video keep up the good work.
Just be aware that some other people have commented it breaks going into act 3 and will ruin all the items you put in it. So make sure you check for that when you enter act 3 and have the game saved so if they break you can go back and pull the items out
the Droz Raglin fight can be made much easier by convincing the cages spiders to eat the goblins, which causes them to move to the area just outside the throne room and aggro everything to run to them. A few well-placed smokepowder barrels will then quickly kill everything while they are fighting the spiders. That statues around True Soul gut can ALSO fall and kill them all, and you can destroy the bridge near Minthara to drop anyone standing on it into the void. Additionally, in the Githyanki camp you can tell Laezel to keep going until you get an option to try and absorb the energy from the device, which gives you a secret skill that allows you to use your Illithid powers as a BONUS action on your main character.
"I'm gonna do this one act at a time so you can avoid spoilers and watch it when you're ready" Awesome move, the number of these challenges I end my viewing early to avoid spoilers is rough. I enjoy them but I haven't seen most of act 3 yet
for any future reference, in the heart of the gith creche where you fight the inquisitor, there's a tiny little patch in a corner you can jump to where the "can't long rest or fast travel" condition goes away. you can tell you're in it when the minimap stops glowing red. i assume it'll get patched over eventually but it's super useful
Yknow, seeing you take out all these enemies in one fell swoop is incredibly satisfying and also *absolutely hilarious* Bc I’ll be honest. I spent *hours*. And I mean *HOURS* trying to defeat minthara bc I was dumb and didn’t kill her in the goblin camp (or maybe smart, bc my party was pretty under leveled,, I got in very easily bc my PC is Lolth sworn drow), so I had to fight her in the raid for the emerald grove. Butttttt now that I have people with actual strength on my team I’ll definitely be trying out more oil barrel strats in the future….
Rewatching this, I can point out the reason why the Zentharim knew you were stealing. For some reason, if ANY GOD DAMN PARTY MEMBER is not sneaking and in LoS of ANYONE when a theft is made, while you are also sneaking inside LoS of someone else. It counts as you being spotted red-handed. And btw this happens EVEN IF YOUR PARTY IS INVISIBLE. An obvious and REALLY annoying bug to deal with later in the game when things get more crowded. Especially when we also take into account the issues with the whole "corpse ownership" bug from the Warlock video.
Hey Fracture, for the cave in, you can deal with it by long resting in Grymforge a few times. The dwarves and the gnomes will leave if you do that, leaving you to loot Nere and his misty step boots in peace.
Invisibility ring as well from the pile of dead gnomes on the docks of Grymforge, on the opposite side of where your boat docked. Gotta pass a skill check to get it.
@@Fracture.Gaming You can still return to act 1 after going to act 2, by the way. Your old waypoints all stay active. When you get to act 3 though, you get locked out of the last two areas.

I am even struggling at Explorer because I don't have any clue what I'm doing and I just want to have a nice story and I wish the enemies would just surrender for me. This is a super interesting run, good luck to you!! I do think you’ll run into trouble in later acts when enemies get resistance/immunity to fire, making barrels effectively useless, but excited to see what strategies you can come up with to circumvent that!
Just started act 3, and I barely have any plans to use explosives! Gonna definitely use them for fun, but I’ve got more than enough tools now to win without them
this is easily one of the funniest video of bg3 i have seen lmao. thank you for bestowing this video upon us lollll the hag section got me loling so hard
Man now thats a challenge run lol. I dont know how you'll be able to do the later sections/final boss but im rooting for you. I might try this in the future as well.
I can confidently say that I’ll be able to clear act 3. Started working on it today, but I played through it normally first and didn’t see anything I won’t be able to handle
Imagine a pack of resourceful level one adventurers as villains in an actual dnd game. The chaos and mental warfare of facing up against them would be unparalleled.
Fun fact you can fast travel out of the secret Chamber where Lathanders Blood is because for some reason the game say its NOT enemy turf unlike the room where you spoke to the godqueen.
Challenge idea I've always wanted to see, beating BG3 before gale explodes. if gale is your companion and dies and isn't resurrected you have 3 DAYS before he game ends you - meaning with the mandatory long rests for act 2-3 (VOSS) (Ambush) its just barely possible. drawbacks are you will have 3 characters for the entire playthrough as gale is deceased on the beach
Daaamn impressive how smart and creative you were in the battles and your preperations. that was hella fun to watch and actually taught me some things!
I think the act 2 video will be even better! Act 1 I kinda just dumpstered, but act 2 forced me get crafty. I'll probably finish editing it in 1-2 days
THANK YOU for sectioning this by acts, i've felt like i'm missing out on so much BG3 content because i'm scared to see a spoiler before i'm finished D;
I knew about the locks in the Blood of Lathander room but I didn't know that you can go full Indiana Jones and run away from the crumbling temple The fact that it caused the death of the entire creche is just golden
Nice! Its so refreshing watching someone play a game like BG3 that has lot of ways to do things, using all possible tools it has to offer. Keep up the good work!
I love this challenge run! I don't know if it helps because I dunno how often you long rest, but I find strength to be a dump stat if you just have a giant potion ready there should be more than enough in the game even if you kill Auntie early
That's a great point... I probably should have used Ethel's hair for charisma or dex on somebody. I think I just like that pike throwing build too much and wanted to give it extra resources.
@@Fracture.Gamingfor some reason when I was fighting the hag she didn't even give me the dialog when she was low on health ;-; sad that the game still quite buggy
I remember when I was a kid, Baldur's Gate 2 was the first RPG game I ever played and I didn't realise that the '+' symbol on the portraits means you can level up until I got to the Silver Dragon in the Underdark... By then, I had already killed the Red and Black Dragons. I did like the grind though.
Did you know an illusionist (wizard subclass) gets a buffed minor illusion that can be cast as a bonus action and doesn't break stealth? lvl 3 thief + lvl 2 illusionist gets an extra bonus action, and if you are the only character in combat you can attack, hide, then cast minor illusion - probably the most powerful level 5 character I've played so far. My thief only picked ritual spells and shield. Shield is a reaction that gives you +5 AC until long rest, so my lvl 5 has 20 AC with leather armor on, and I use 2 shortswords so he can attack 3x a round. Pretty fun.
For the Grimforge rock wall you skipped blowing up, somewhere in that area you can find an npc named philomeen where you can convince her to not blow up the runepowder killing everyone in the room to give you the bomb to blow up the wall :)
The most outrageous thing about this game is my creche/lathander temple experience was completely different, I got the mace and got no trap warning, I assume because I did some puzzles earlier in the temple. So my creche experience had no doomsday. Wow. My big takeaway from this video is the chest of the mundane, I never thought to steal it. That's some serious tech.
at the gith'yanki laser beams trap, if you look around, there is a hidden crystal on the side of the machine under the main platform. you can break it. i think it disarms the device, but i had already got the mace "the right way" without triggering the trap so i'm not sure.
Ah, the classic Blood of Lathander escape route. Honestly seems way simpler than my own method of simply murdering my way out of the creche... but then again, I am a dark urge, so maybe I have an excuse? This is a really interesting challenge so far! I'm curious how far you can go with this- a few fights in Act 2 come to mind that might be impossible without cheesing items and/or persuasion checks. Make sure you go into Act 2 with a good radiant damage dealer in your party (like, say, Shadowheart respecced to Light domain) and that's all I can say for advice without spoiling too much for you.
Just a little tip for another playthrough: you can silence Aunty Ethel, and while silenced, she's unable to summon neither clones nor the masks (grease is excellent at keeping her within a silence spell).
The Gith actually let you through easy if Lae'zel is in your party. You also have to give up the artifact not matter what in order to enter it. Although you could theoretically just blow up the entire creche without doing that quest.
Damn. When I entered the area I started hearing some combat (entered through the side and fought the enemies that had magic allergy) and a gith raider and warrior started attacking me immediately
You missed three tadpoles - one in the druid grove, just on the table, one from a gnoll in the northern part of the map (you can manipulate the leader to kill everyone else, but this fight would proabbly still be difficult) and one from Nere. If you leave and long rest, he just dies, and everyone leaves. You can go in, clear the rubble and take his worm. Not to mention the forge - the guardian can be killed with the forge hammer so its definitely possible at level 1, and you can make some good equipemnt
this was great! i have always considered the grymforge part of act one, and the gith creche part of act 2 though. i wanna see you take on the grymforge boss at level one.
My favorite kind of game is an RPG where you can beat the game in all kinds of absurd, intuitive ways. Between this and TOTK, I was eating good last year😂
My trick for the ogres was get the necronomicon book in the building next to them, hiding on the roof, throwing the book in between them and blowing it up, the shadows killed the ogres except for one that only had 5 hp left
This is most likely a bug, but for the hag encounter, when she summons clones of herself, if you examine each one the real one has an extra buff/passive that the others don't.
Im sure you will be able to beat it. Not having to worry about making the right choices and being able to talk yourself out of some fights will really help
I’ve misclicked the little arrow on my character portrait about 12 times now and have to wait for all the level up animations to finish before the X appears so I can get back to the game…
If you manage to get to the final boss, that encounter may prove difficult to complete. Subbed, will be eagerly awaiting the next videos in this series and hopefully be proven wrong
Funny thing is that Hag’s trickery is a non issue if you use examine and pay attention to detail, the real Ethel will have red clothing while the fakes wear blue. Also when she disguises as Mayrina the real Mayrina shows visible signs of pregnancy while the fake does not. Makes the fight a whole lot easier with this knowledge.
WOW, what an incredible video and series. The best display of tactics, cunning, resourcefulness, and overall awesomeness I've seen to date in this game! Well done!
Just be aware with the chest of the mundane. When you reach act 3 it can bug out and make everything youve put in it permanent junk that won't turn back to what it was originally
Doing this without save acumming for the awakened illithid powers as bomus actions from the gith machine is even more insane (obviously this was largely from being blind and not knowing what happened but still)
You can get a lvl4 (or 5 don't remember) companion in the mushroom circle village place. He wants to follow you to see the dead bandits by the dock, but you can simply just not go there and I think he'll stick around lol (not sure what happens if you long rest though, but maybe you can just go talk to him again?)

@@Fracture.Gamingone thing that also can help is that the Thorm Boss fight can be won on deception and persuasion checks
That amulet is so funny
First runebarrel? Didn't know there was more than one.
If you actually manage to do this I will be pretty damn impressed lol. I struggled on random encounters while leveling normally
Act 1 I do pretty okay in, the main thing is, they throw numbers at you. So if you can burst down targets quick to thin numbers out the better. XD
Try not to spread damage around too much unless it makes tactical sense.
I struggled a bit more in the next area, enemies get buffed up a bit, especially if you are like me and wasnt running a magical team.
I struggle with the Gnoll fight the most… havent been able to save those 2 guys once… I was able to get the ever burn blade though.
@@XFizzlepop-Berrytwist if you approach the gnolls from the front of the cave, not form inside, they will aggro on you and you should be able to kill them this way without the guys dying.. in an ideal scenario that is
@@MrSuvvri
Yeah… I tried, but just kept dying that way. Haha, I need those two guys to tank a couple hits. XD or to dish out extra damage.
I'm gonna do it. I don't know to what extent I'll need to cheese the game, but that's never stopped me before 🙂
@@Fracture.Gaminglike the prologue?
Fracture: it all felt super questionable, like I wasn't making any of the right decisions
Fracture at that moment: _showing respect for a god-queen_
The model for the real Mayrina is also visibly pregnant, while the illusion is not.
You can also right click each one and hit examine, Ethel is always the level 5 with uneven stats
@@Null_Experis I've not noticed a "Pregnant Ethel" when she changes her. Lol
I'll have to look for that when I play through again.
Better way is to simply sneak Asterion to the controls via the bottom and let Mayrina out before the encounter even begins.
@@EJHigz That won't get you the Ability point sadly. You have to fight her to trigger her begging. :(
In doing so she will either summon all of her allies - Or illusions (if you have killed her allies).
Without dual wielding Salami you won’t make it. I mean, maybe, but you will always ask yourself „what if…“.
all I am saying is that I feel like wielding salami should count as being unarmed.
11:09 I’m surprised you didn’t use the other mushroom circle in Auntie Ethel’s place to get the under dark it’s in the tunnel where the poison is, behind another illusory door north of it. It brings you out in between the Selunite Outpost and the Arcane Tower
Does it make anyone else so giddy when you see Fracture make a decision that you also did during your play-through? ULTIMATE VALIDATION
You can take the Blood of Lanthander if you insert the crest you got earlier in the creche. The quest to get it is actually pretty easy to do without combat you just have to gather the 4 weapons in the circular room, get the crest and bring it with you.
Pretty sure you have to defeat at least a guardian and a giant bird for that...
did both without combat@@JohnSmith-bs9ym
@JohnSmith-bs9ym oh, so now youse a wise guy or somethin'?
im a bit late but you can also use normal weapons instead of the ceremonial ones, as long as they're the same type. at least it worked for my friend a few months ago@@JohnSmith-bs9ym
or you can take four ordinary weapons and place them on the pedestals
I found your channel yesterday and binged your videos for like 2 hours straight. You produce awesome, unique content. Please keep it up, the world needs you.
I had found the chest of the mundane, but had no idea about the carry weight. What a killer tip! As a professional video game hoarder this is a tip I won't forget. Great video keep up the good work.
Just be aware that some other people have commented it breaks going into act 3 and will ruin all the items you put in it. So make sure you check for that when you enter act 3 and have the game saved so if they break you can go back and pull the items out
@@Fracture.Gaming Great for storing junk not so much your invaluable barrels.
This is amazing. That you managed to get past Act One is amazing on its own. Feel like I picked up a lot of good tips from seeing your work-arounds.
The potential for bg3 challenge runs is amazing and I can’t wait to see more!
the Droz Raglin fight can be made much easier by convincing the cages spiders to eat the goblins, which causes them to move to the area just outside the throne room and aggro everything to run to them.
As a person who just bought the game, you are based for doing it one act at time. Thanks
I love those unconventional ways to play baldurs gate.
I tried some myself but my Imagination is very limited. :c
Pls i need more of this
Dude, love your content, and just your creativity. Your ideas are simply inspiring lol
"I'm gonna do this one act at a time so you can avoid spoilers and watch it when you're ready"
Awesome move, the number of these challenges I end my viewing early to avoid spoilers is rough. I enjoy them but I haven't seen most of act 3 yet
The way I was fighting for my life in act 1 on story mode and you’re just zipping along at level 1 😂😂
for any future reference, in the heart of the gith creche where you fight the inquisitor, there's a tiny little patch in a corner you can jump to where the "can't long rest or fast travel" condition goes away. you can tell you're in it when the minimap stops glowing red. i assume it'll get patched over eventually but it's super useful
I so appreciate you splitting all of these into 3 videos each.
Yknow, seeing you take out all these enemies in one fell swoop is incredibly satisfying and also *absolutely hilarious*
Bc I’ll be honest.
Misty step boots!?! Thank god you said something, I want that before I get locked into act 2!
Alternatively you can also save Nere the 'proper' way by finding a certain Gnome in the map who will give you explosives.
@@Fracture.Gamingyou can get locked only in Act 3
Going to act 2 can only make some of the act 1 quests inaccessible and that's it
And also, that Gith's Machine is best used by main character. If you succeed on all 3 Saving Throws, it turns all your Illithid Powers on that character into Bonus Action
one of my favorite cheese so far was a character with sanctuary using call lightning, which doesn't cancel sanctuary (or at least it didnt at that point).
slapped on some lightning resist gear and just had every enemy gather around the character while she casted call lightning on herself and enemies for free every turn
I am even struggling at Explorer because I don't have any clue what I'm doing and I just want to have a nice story and I wish the enemies would just surrender for me. So I am very glad that some one does this here, because I could never. (I also suck at stealthy games, maybe I just go full barbarian and roar everyone to the ground.)
I'm subscribing because you were kind enough to separate these into the games acts and that's susch a chad move.
This might be my favourite trilogy on the youtube currently. Well done man
Thanks I’m really glad you liked it!! This video was actually super fun to make, I wasn’t expecting to finish it this soon but I couldn’t help but go back and keep playing it
The ogre strategy was stupidly genius. The things people come up with in BG and Divinity are so fun
14:35
"I'm doing what Lae'zel wants to do"
hussa a man of quality
Imagine a pack of resourceful level one adventurers as villains in an actual dnd game. The chaos and mental warfare of facing up against them would be unparalleled.
Fun fact you can fast travel out of the secret Chamber where Lathanders Blood is because for some reason the game say its NOT enemy turf unlike the room where you spoke to the godqueen.
Blood of lathander makes the shadowcurse a cake walk for the most part so good call on taking it.
I had no idea how important is was gonna be. It was a game changer for sure.
THANK YOU for sectioning this by acts, i've felt like i'm missing out on so much BG3 content because i'm scared to see a spoiler before i'm finished D;
My pleasure :)
I felt bad when my first bg3 video was dark urge spoiler heavy, but I was too excited about the Psycho roleplay idea to hold off.
I knew about the locks in the Blood of Lathander room but I didn't know that you can go full Indiana Jones and run away from the crumbling temple
The fact that it caused the death of the entire creche is just golden
Nice! Its so refreshing watching someone play a game like BG3 that has lot of ways to do things, using all possible tools it has to offer.
Keep up the good work!
I love this challenge run!
I don't know if it helps because I dunno how often you long rest, but I find strength to be a dump stat if you just have a giant potion ready
there should be more than enough in the game even if you kill Auntie early
Damn I’m glad I subscribed to this channel. Thanks for just doing act 1
That's some serious tech.
that "one act at a time" part probably increased watchnumbers 10x over.
Yeah if it had spoilers through the whole game nobody was gonna watch it, lol...
at the gith'yanki laser beams trap, if you look around, there is a hidden crystal on the side of the machine under the main platform. you can break it. i think it disarms the device, but i had already got the mace "the right way" without triggering the trap so i'm not sure.
I'll have to actually talk to them next time then! I did manage to keep the artifact with me until I got to the inquisitor though!
@@Fracture.GamingYou don't hand it over until you get to him even if you offer it to that lady guarding the barrier.
@@ShapeshifterOS ahh I see, good to know thank you :)
Damn. When I entered the area I started hearing some combat (entered through the side and fought the enemies that had magic allergy) and a gith raider and warrior started attacking me immediately
@@ShapeshifterOS I usually just pickpocket the key to the barrier off them
You missed three tadpoles - one in the druid grove, just on the table, one from a gnoll in the northern part of the map (you can manipulate the leader to kill everyone else, but this fight would proabbly still be difficult) and one from Nere. If you leave and long rest, he just dies, and everyone leaves. You can go in, clear the rubble and take his worm. Not to mention the forge - the guardian can be killed with the forge hammer so its definitely possible at level 1, and you can make some good equipemnt
Excellent video! I'm ready to see how you work around some of the fights in Act Two.
this was great! i have always considered the grymforge part of act one, and the gith creche part of act 2 though. i wanna see you take on the grymforge boss at level one.
I’m almost ashamed to admit I still haven’t even fought it on any character 😅 idk why, but I just skipped it on every playthrough I’ve done
My favorite kind of game is an RPG where you can beat the game in all kinds of absurd, intuitive ways. Between this and TOTK, I was eating good last year😂
Seeing this just made me realize that I haven’t even finished act one in my 60 hour play through and still missed on plenty of stuff bruh
My trick for the ogres was get the necronomicon book in the building next to them, hiding on the roof, throwing the book in between them and blowing it up, the shadows killed the ogres except for one that only had 5 hp left
For the shaman you can just talk to her and she kindly gets herself isolated in her room. But the exploit was still fun to see
This is most likely a bug, but for the hag encounter, when she summons clones of herself, if you examine each one the real one has an extra buff/passive that the others don't.
It's not a bug. It's just a consequence of the game letting you see the full details of every enemy
Im sure you will be able to beat it. Not having to worry about making the right choices and being able to talk yourself out of some fights will really help
Blowing up the crash then telling her when need to be more careful is fucking hilarious
The biggest challange must be resisting the urge to click the level up button.
You can actually press the escape key to cancel a level up.
I think he had to do that when reclassing as well.
I’ve misclicked the little arrow on my character portrait about 12 times now and have to wait for all the level up animations to finish before the X appears so I can get back to the game…
this is some amazing bg3 content along with ur other videos, happy i discovered this channel!
If you manage to get to the final boss, that encounter may prove difficult to complete. Subbed, will be eagerly awaiting the next videos in this series and hopefully be proven wrong
This is the best Baldures Gate 3 playthrough I seen on YT. Keep it up
Funny thing is that Hag’s trickery is a non issue if you use examine and pay attention to detail, the real Ethel will have red clothing while the fakes wear blue. Also when she disguises as Mayrina the real Mayrina shows visible signs of pregnancy while the fake does not. Makes the fight a whole lot easier with this knowledge.
I noticed when fighting her that if Auntie Ethle makes clones of herself, the real one is wearing a red skirt and her clones have blue skirts on.
WOW, what an incredible video and series. The best display of tactics, cunning, resourcefulness, and overall awesomeness I've seen to date in this game! Well done!
I’m really glad you enjoyed it :)
Just be aware with the chest of the mundane. When you reach act 3 it can bug out and make everything youve put in it permanent junk that won't turn back to what it was originally
For anyone reading this after the latest patch... apparently it was a bug that it changed items weights in the first place. RIP chest of holding :(
Truly amazing content! First enthusiastic subscription in a long time! :)
I watching just a bit of this made me realize that I can make some fights a lot easier by thinking outside the box.
this is amazing... i love it, just got to act 2 last night on my first save scum playthrough.
Doing this without save acumming for the awakened illithid powers as bomus actions from the gith machine is even more insane (obviously this was largely from being blind and not knowing what happened but still)
first of all, you just taught me you can multi select in the inventory, so thank you. also, great video 10/10 v entertainment
You can get a lvl4 (or 5 don't remember) companion in the mushroom circle village place. He wants to follow you to see the dead bandits by the dock, but you can simply just not go there and I think he'll stick around lol (not sure what happens if you long rest though, but maybe you can just go talk to him again?)
but you cant leave the map with him - he is bound to this place
Being a kleptomaniac barrel collector is the CORRECT way to play all Larian games... 😂
Your videos are so cool man. Keep up the great work.
Thanks!!
pro tip: changing ur appearance for certain encounters helps a lot.
f.e. be a drow when talking to goblins
Way to think outside the box. Good job champ.
