At first, I wasn't sure about the added roleplay aspects that you did for the characters, but I really got into the further along into the video I got. It really felt like an actual DnD campaign!
THIS, I've only watched one gameplay with roleplay and it was pretty good and after seeing this comment i gave the whole video a chance and i got SO INTO IT, Lefty's sensible spot about his reading abilities really sold it to me 😂

I love how, five minutes in, you're just walking around Wyll, trying to find a way to get three more warlocks in your party. If only there was some way to get another warlock to make things easier.
This is the kind of BG3 content I want to see: Someone fully getting into the roleplay and designing a story for the character(s) they invent. Wonderful video, the different plots were all excellently done
This story turned out to be touching, with a wonderful ending! I really liked the minor changes of lore, which made the plot more personal (for example, the contract with Raphael). It's a pity that you had to go through so many bugs, but I'm impressed with your drive and ingenuity. This video totally deserves the word MOVIE in the title.
Usually I don't have the attention span to watch 2 hour videos but man, the story of this party had me HOOKED. The confrontation between Pinky and Bonk, and then Bonk using his wish to help Pinky? Lefty's whole arc? The Betrayal of Jack and also his whole arc??? (i was so glad when omelum saved him) This is the great stuff
Omeluum saving jack was genuinely such a good moment. i like to think that's another reason jack turned into a mindflayer. a mindflayer saved his life so he, as a mindflayer, went on to save the world
hilariously, i think the save file breaking down by the end kind of fits the narrative? also it's funny and indicative of how hard you worked on the series since it took so much time and energy to put out and i can only assume the root cause is a bunch of updates that were meant to fix things but for you, eh, not so much
This was such an amazing video to watch. It was legitimately a movie. I watched it over the course of 2 nights, just wondering what would happen next between the characters. I never expected what would happen.

i absolutely adore the roleplaying type of challenges! You could do one where you all play bards? Idk i just loved this one so much. The romance-ish thing between pinky and bonk was so cute, and the betrayel of lefty the manager??? AAAA and poor jack didn't get the love of his life...but he still did the right thing and never let it get to him. Peak fiction right here
@@memer1271 Just use the appearance edit enhanced mod. Hire 3 hirelings to ur party then use the spell to redesign and rename the characters, then boom ur all done with a custom party.
@@haki4066 you open multiple instances, create your characters, and then close those instances so you can control your custom characters as if they're just normal companions!
This is honestly my favorite video of yours. For me the best aspect of most games is the role playing aspect. I absolutely love creating characters, backstories, motivations, and trying to get into the heads of what my character would do in certain situations. So to have a whole video doing just that was great :)

It's probably the best main character class can't change em out so half rests for spells is great especially early game. Then you can go into sorcerer or fighter whichever way you want to lean.
Fun fact: the 3 ogres at 17:12 can actually be convinced to be allies for a few fights, since one of them has enhanced intelligence. I got them to help me during my raid of the goblin camp.

You know I've watched plenty of BG3 challenge videos and have never seen someone do a story like this. I really like it, I'm sure it took a tremendous amount of effort to plan since theres a whole game to play along with the writing and side questing you did. Very good work, I hope you do something like this again! (Also thank you, this video kept me sane while doing stupid hard challenges in Destiny 2, its now 2 in the morning and I'm gonna go to bed, lmao)

I want to do this whole custom character party now and recreate a party I DMed for! (illusion magic/necromancer/hunter/pact of the fiend- idk about balance but it’s funny!)
I played a [blank]-lock themed party a while back. Loved it. Pal-lock with pact of the blade to dump str and be a full chr paladin. Sor-lock that spams eldritch blast and general sorceror caster cheese; metamagic abuse, ex. twin haste. Tav bard-lock with a DC pumping build to be the party CC machine with hold person, the face of the party, and stupid high roll modifiers. Finally, a light cleric. Just a strong class that spams radiant orb spirit guardian cheese. Zero synergy but really good to fill a frontliner role and healer archtype. All 3 locks have devilsight with darkness and/or HoH, along with the truesight ring on the cleric. The entire party can abuse darkness as a get-out-of-jail-free card if I felt like breaking the game in a single turn as soon as level ~4. Funnest party to date, with ice/lightning caster party being a good runner up.
... I remember working so hard on the moontower fight and helping with alliance, but after battle they'd hate me and my ally and would attack even... after 3 reloads I realize I used sleet ice on everyone and they did not like it....... also I wish people did more of this kind of video instead of hearing BG3's normal storyline 250 times in different ways but the same ...... story....... I love these "hireling arcs", I hope there come more of it !
I stumbled across this today, and it might just be the best BG3 video I’ve ever seen. I hope you consider doing something like this again with all the mods available now.

Can you do Bard next ? especially if you and all your companion only allowed to use Vicious Mockery as the way to damage enemy. No shoving, no throwing, no damage arrow. Long rest, short rest, darkness, smoke arrow and potion are allowed. Movement spell and skill are allowed Can you beat the game as a trash talker ? 😂
3:17 , you need to do the fight from the druids grove because thats were you hear about the Absolute the first time and then you will be able to hire them.
It's always amazing to see the kind of story telling that can be made with games like bg3 and a lot of other games. While the story of bg3 itself is great on its own, it still leaves a lot of room for the player to add more and make it theirs. I've previously made the same observation on a different game and story which was an amazing experience as well that I would highly recommend too, and I'm too lazy to make a whole ahh paragraph again so I'll just copy that comment over (plagiarizing my own comment lmao). Re; "What really makes this great and really immersive in my opinion is that, it's nothing like the media we've known before. Unlike a novel with sparse imagery we have visuals going on to illustrate the events currently happening but also at the same time allowing some things to be left to the imagination (recollection of prior events). And unlike a movie, visual novel, or any picture books we aren't just watching things unfold. This is a game that we've all experienced ourselves (if you haven't played zomboid the f u doing here lmao) firsthand and as such can easily immerse and put ourselves into the the character in the actual game which allows us to connect deeply with the character story as it twists, turns, and unfolds. Throw in some great music choices, (game music is great but the timing to stop and start and when to use em was simply amazing) and we've got a type of novel told unlike any other. It's both quite satisfying and a shame that only those who have experienced how hard project zomboid actually is can really deeply get into it as most other wont be able to understand the satisfaction of the crunching sound of skulls breaking and the terror of the moodles stacking." Needless to say this was a comment on a zomboid movie from Jules Wade's story but the same thought applies. The shenanigans and the scuffed corrupt save was hilarious AF, amazing work on this movie Fracture. Can't wait to see more of your work!

It's always amazing to see the kind of story telling that can be made with games like bg3 and a lot of other games. While the story of bg3 itself is great on its own, it still leaves a lot of room for the player to add more and make it theirs. I've previously made the same observation on a different game and story which was an amazing experience as well that I would highly recommend too, and I'm too lazy to make a whole ahh paragraph again so I'll just copy that comment over (plagiarizing my own comment lmao).
