- The Speyside Way is one of Scotland's National Walking Trails. Join me as I attempt my first long distance walk at an age when I really should be on a cruise ship sipping cocktails in the sunshine.
Today's first stage takes us from Aviemore to Nethy Bridge.

Thank you for making this video. It’s very informative. I should be on that cruise ship too lol … but I’m wanting to get back into easy ish walking come early summer.
I thought this would be a nice woodland/riverside walk to start with but wasn’t sure.
Thanks again for posting this as now I know what to expect.
Enjoy your walks …🥾🥾🥾

Hi Marilyn. It's never too late but it's certainly not as easy as it once was! Don't overdo it and you'll be fine. I found that 12 miles was about the maximum I could do without it hurting too much but less, or even more is fine, whatever you are comfortable with.
lovely walk, cool witch burning site :) cool steam train, nice aerials and river, good achievement ❤
Many thanks. I knew it was a witch burning site, thanks for confirming ;-)
