That's certainly a good option especially if there are several ships in and the wait for the cable car is long. We wanted to spend as litle as possible and were lucky that the queue was quite reasonable. Thanks for the additional info.

Yeah, I watched your video before I went and thought 'There's no way he's on the right path' but it looks as if we both made up some kind of path. Either there was no bracken back in the day or Wainwright sat at home in Kendal having a chuckle at all the fools who tried his Newton Fell route!

I realise there's a lot more to Lanzarote but I really struggled finding buses that would guarantee getting back to the ship on time. I though there might be a car hire place in Arecife but it seems they are all at the airport and again I didn't trust the buses. If we had an overnight there we would have travelled much further. I might have found something too if I hadn't fell in the bog! I was chuffed at the end of the day that the camera seemed to be okay but a few days later as I was charging it smoke started pouring out and, although he camera itself was fine, I had to buy a new handle for it for £95. Still all the money we are both raking in from UA-cam makes up for all the mishaps 😉

Yep, we've actually got a couple of bottles in hand for Christmas here in the UK!

Yes, it's amazing how they interact with each other.

Black Horse Square due the statue in the centre. Maybe it's just the English being too lazy to pronounce Praça do Comércio! It certainly was a long walk to Campo d'Ourique, and all uphill, but we got to see some beautifully tiled buildings that we would otherwise have missed. We're going back to Lisbon (on a cruise) in December and we'll visit some of the places we missed. It's a beautiful city and we'll have to book a week there at some point. Thanks for watching.

The Burmoor Tarn approach semed to be better to me, is there a path? Irton Pike was one I did about four years ago when I also picked up the Circuit of Devoke Water. I actually filmed that one with a GoPro but for some reason the sound was messed up so much of the footage is unsuable. Thanks for commenting.

Glad it was helpful. One update is that Hagia Sofia now charge a whopping €25 entry and you can't even go into the ground floor where I went so, maybe, just watch the video again! At the moment all the other mosques are still free.

There will be more Kruger videos but it is getting more and more expensive to get over there. At the moment we are planning to go back next year possibly in late August but it might be later depending on finances. If I could I'd go two or three times a year! Buying tickets was not a problem, there was no queue there and, as far as I could see there was no 'fast entry' gate. Once inside everbody ends up climbing the same stairs so I don't see any advantage in buying tickets in advance although there might be times when the ticket office is busy so it could save a little time.

I've checked and it was indeed originally the Crown Odyssey built in 1988 for Royal Cruise Line. In 1989 it was sold to Norwegian where it operated as Crown Odyssey until 1996 when it was renamed Norwegian Crown. Fred Olsen bought it in 2006 and renamed it Balmoral.
