Although a vegetarian, still enjoy these beautifully filmed blogs from such a cheerful foodie. An amazing country with friendly easy going people. So much color in food, nature, architecture, murals and all else. Bravo Ecuador!
Thank you so much! When I return in the fall I'm going to start mentioning vegetarian food options at restaurants. I didn't realize so many viewers were plant based so I'm happy to include it.
Hello dear! It's a pleasure watching your Ecuadorians videos every day!! Thank you for your well-done videos from my beautiful country the dish called Picante de Pescado nobody was mentioned before, I am glad that you love our varied gastronomy we have high quality as you have realized! We hope you had only good and high-quality experiences in our country and of course that made you decided to choose Ecuador as your permanent house one day. Who knows right? Keep doing excellent job you are doing it great Ayngelina we like you a lot.
Great video on Olon, Ecuador. The beach was super clean and they had plenty of good eateries. Th drone footage of the beach was very interesting too. The Colombian fellow was selling some good pastries. I enjoyed seeing Olon, Ecuador!
Thanks to your consistency in providing Spanish subtitles, we were able to watch this in full as a family tonight, and guess how we knew roughly how long ago this was filmed?
Your amazing, exploring the area by yourself, trying all kinds of food ,you make it look so easy ,I am retired and thinking about buying oceanfront home in Ecuador. Looking at Manta mostly, it must be the biggest oceanfront city. they seem to have the biggest selection, but looking for quite and gated area-if you have any suggestions- I can afford any ,but worried if I dont like it ,I need to sell to another American, cause their probably the only ones that can buy it- since the ave monthly wage is about 500 bucks in Ecuador, enjoy your travels and be safe
Yes if you watch my Ecuador live videos I talk a lot about this. Real estate is not a good investment in Ecuador like it is in other countries. But renting is so cheap especially high end ocean front. I would recommend renting so if you don’t like something you can move. Also many places will have problems and you’re stuck with property that has an issue. But you can rent month to month as one year leases aren’t the standard in Ecuador, only foreigners take them. And then take the money you are saving and just invest it. A lot of expats make the mistake of coming and buying a place only to realize they’d prefer a different city or even country and have to wait for another American.
6:25 ohhh Is because the fetuccini Is italian. But if u search italian restaurants in Salinas the flavor Is the same. But great recomendation because the especiality un this área Is ceviche de concha
Considering visiting for a month . Curious what the weather is like January, February and March. When is the best weather? Live in Virginia, so I am accustomed to heat/humidity. Would like to escape winter here.
It's funny, there were a lot of things in Olon named Parajito which is why I wanted to share it's in front of the grocery store or people may be confused on Google maps.
I was born in Ecuador but I never ate neither encebollado, picante de pescado or shrimp pasta. Thank you for sharing. Your video quality and content is great. One of my favorite dishes was chaulafan. I never had after a Chinese fried rice like the one in Ecuador. Maybe a close second is the arroz chaufa from Peru. Maybe you can show us in the next video you eating Ecuadorian fried rice chaulafan. Greetings from California.

You are right! Immediately after I shot this video I saw apple trees! I still haven't seen any local ones in the market but you're right they do grow here.

Absolute great video, i am planning to go for a month in June, is the weather really bad then? If anyone can advise thanks
July and August are the coldest months but that is relative. What city do you want to go to?
Encebollado has a special place in my heart
When it’s done right it’s my favourite breakfast in the world.
Montanita is for the young crowd Vs. Olon for mature/elder crowd
I think I’m now part of that older crowd
We only spent a day in Olon and I wish we’d stayed longer. We’ll definitely be going back.
I can see why, it's such a lovely place.
Olon es una playa hermosa

Picante de pescado que no pica. Sounds like seco de pollo, which is a soggy dish. Lol
Seco de pollo is chicken braised in a sauce so it’s a bit different than this preparation
@@ayngelina i meant the contradiction between the name and the actual dish. The "picante" that isn't hot, and the "seco" that isn't dry.
