Los Frailas is one of the best beaches in the world just up the road from Puerto cayo. Puerto Lopez . Im so glad you showed one of my favorite towns and beaches ever!!
Another great video my friend...I love the pan de yuca....you seem to enjoy every minute of it.....great to see your reactions to every item.....greatest
Ayngelina, been following you for about a week, as a chef I love your content, thanks I'm planning on traveling to Ecuador sometime in June, meantime I'll keep on watching your videos, thanks Kiddo!
Oh thank you so much! As a chef I'd recommend going to ICHE in Manta as I think it profiles traditional coastal ingredients in an interesting way, I don't have a video of it because my mic and camera stopped that day. And I have a video called Fine Dining Cuenca and I highly recommend the three videos there which I think are doing a wonderful (and affordable) job of showcasing traditional culinary in a modern way. They use some ingredients and methods you rarely see elsewhere. I'm also going to have a quick look for a Facebook video for you that shares how the name "CEVICHE" implies that it's actually an Ecuadorian dish first (Peruvians will come at me for this) but it's a Spanish-language video talking about the etymology of foods with "ICHE" in Manabi that I think is fascinating. I'm a food nerd. I love to learn about how ingredients, methods and cuisines evolve as you travel. It shares such an interesting view on immigration, history, culture and politics. Also I have a website BaconisMagic.ca and share more Ecuador tips there :)
Paying for park amenities sounds like a great deal!! All that food looks delicious!! Hahaha, in Bay Area culture, if one needs to relieve themself when they're out in nature, they just 'go' wherever.
@@Resmith18SR there are definitely clean beaches in Ecuador but some are cleaner than others. Salinas was spotless, Playas definitely has some issues. There are garbage cans in Puerto Lopez but I think it's more regional cultural issue than anything. I grew up in the 80s in Canada where they engrained that there was nothing worse than being a litter bug 😂 so I always carry my trash. And Andrés is from Cuenca where they also have that sensibility more in the Sierra. But the Coast is a bit of a hit and a miss. Some of the highway driving like through Jipijapa was atrocious, just garbage everyone and the government had put signs up asking people to keep the city clean.
@@Resmith18SR you don't want to be here right now. It's incredible in the summer but not so nice in winter. This is why I'm only ever here at Christmas to visit.

Yuca is my absolute favourite!
Wow so beautiful ❤ culture 😍
It really is!
The ocean is beautiful down there. Wow ... drinking a beer on the beach while looking out over that ocean. The food looks so delicious.
There are some really beautiful spots along the coast. I'm hoping to do a new road trip soon starting in Esmeraldas and ending in Guayaquil

Like that beach. Will check it out one day.
Puerto Lopez is one of the most popular expat spots but the beach isn’t great. This one is just next door, and on the other side of that Machalilla.
Sin duda, las más hermosa
Tienes razón 😊
GREAT enjoy
Gracias Estela
Was there some years ago... good times. Good drugs. Friendly people and lot of partying (but in comfortable way).
You need to be a bit careful now as those drugs brought in some crime as people came to capitalize on the partiers.
Yes I did sub because I love Ecuador
Thank you so much Roger, I really appreciate it!
@@ayngelina Lentils You ate, are canadians..
I had "cake by the ocean" there in 2016. It was sunny and gorgeous.
I love this 💜
Just got here today. Drove here from Guayaquil. Craaaazy drivers in Guayaquil!!
Be prepared in all of Ecuador for defensive driving. It's why I don't do it 😊
@@ayngelina It was intense for sure. I'm glad I did it though. There was definitely adrenaline involved. 😂😂

The nice thing is nothing was too expensive at all.
