I can do Seoul and Busan accent lol. My parents are both from Busan but they don’t have a strong accent most the time, since I only speak Korean to them my accent is a mix of Seoul and Busan. The accent is different but the dialect is different as well. For those studying tye linguistics, that's noteworthy and will help you if you're looking for regional differences within south korea.
I'm learning Korean rn, currently just beginners level (just starting from alphabets) should I head over Seoul accent or Busan accent or others like Daegu accent?
Busan dialect has a lot of exceptions (thus harder to learn) + there's literally no source for learning busan dialect for foreigners and seoul accent usually sound more elegant to native koreans
I searched for this since I was curious. but it seems to be a Dialect difference and not just accent. Accent is only how words are pronounced. right? well, I was just curious
@@성이름-n9r4x Oh, I see. Thanks. I wasn't sure about that because there are languages whose dialects are very often not mutually intelligible at all. Like Mandarin vs Shanghainese vs the Sichuanese dialect etc.
No, unlike North Korea, South Korea has 6 dialects. Gyeonggi-do (standard language) Gangwon-do, Chungcheong-do, Jeolla-do, Gyeongsang-do(Busan), Jejudo

I'm learning Korean but I didn't know about the accents
Most foreigners who learn Korean learn Seoul language.Because it is Korean standard language. But foreigners living in Busan speak in Busan dialect😂
Just like foreigners learn Mandarin, my dialect is different so I almost always rather speak english
I think every language has accents, unless it's an extremely small country. But otherwise it's unavoidable.
I've been using Busan satori without even knowing LOL
The Busan accent is warm and authentic!
Thats why it's called Busan seagull not Seoul seagull!
The word to steal in Busan accent is the best !!!
