Dont push or pull that hard on that gear lever, you will not go faster, but send your gti faster to a repear shop. From a VW Mecanic....... Switch with love the engine is already doing the rest.
You're BOV is NOT working properly. I'd be willing to bet it's not even working at all. That sound you hear is compressor surge and happens when your BOV is stuck closed or not nearly opening enough. HKS BOVs make a high pitch whistle and what your setup is doing is potentially damaging your turbo as the compressed air has nowhere to go. Get yourself a proper boost tap and you'll see what I'm talking about. I've had HKS BOVs in a few different cars and they all sound pretty similar and nothing like the surge your getting.
Technically that's not compressor surge either, just plain turbo flutter which isn't all that bad for the turbo, compressor surge only occurs under load causing vibration in the turbine wheel which is when the damage happens
compressor surge can happen when under load or off throttle. this is off throttle surge. blow off isn't venting air fast enough causing the turbo to stall. surge under load means the engine is getting too much air and can't move it fast enough causing surge. get it right so thousands of people don't get misinformation

Yeah... it is the turbo fluttering but this will never damage your turbo, only gonna brake or desaccelerate it. Turbo surge is the real problem and its not the same as fluttering.
My neighbours love my supercharged 3UR FE swapped Land Cruiser, 3 inch down piped and I daily that thing so they wake up nice and early at 4am everyday 7 days a week. Im an orthopedic trauma surgeon and their respect for me comes and goes, sometimes they like me because of the work I do and sometimes they hate me because my cars too loud. I can live with that 😁

The BOV is universal, however the kit from USP is for the MK7. Also it is not recommended to use BOV's on the MK6 because it uses a MAF instead of a MAP sensor.
Sounds really good. My forge BOV is still holding up and I love it. It sounds like the HKS one sounds like my Forge when the cap got loose haha. I really hope you come down for Occupy Big Bear in the fall!

@Kevin martinez it's not bad for the car but just makes it run a little more rich in between shifts because depending on if your car is map or maf sensor based you'll probably get more pops in shifts that's about it and you'll notice a very slight hesitation if you dump and immediately get back into throttle
Search on yt videos of this BoV . You will see what i mean . After that check your vauccum lines if they are well connected because it's not normal to sound like that
Why is there a bit stututu if you have a blow off valve? The sense of the blow off valve is to reduce this stutututu as it is bad for the turbo charger. If you go away from the throttle the turbo still produces pressure, but this pressure can't be use as you don't put on the throttle. The overpressure goes back to the turbo and tries to flee and thats why the stutututu can be heard. A blow off valve is there to let the overpressure out, so the turbo can't get any damage

I don't care for the flutter sound I don't understand why so many people love it. For me a BOV is the loud *PSSSSSSSSHH* noise. I have a Forge atmospheric in my MK7 GTI APR Stage 2+ and its loud lol. Just my opinion but if your like the HKS SSQ then power to ya. Oh and quick question where did you get the black and red euro plate up front.
That noise does not come from the blow off valve it's actually turbo surge when you're not getting enough air out and that noise comes from the air slowing your turbo down so if you're getting that noise you maybe want to check to see if your blow off valve is actually moving enough air out but good looking car

Already have the boost tap! Yeah I have mentioned many times it is not run through proper vacuum. Will be doing an update video soon!

I believe it is because of where I am running my vacuum lines. Once I install my boost tap we will see if the sound changes.

aren't blow off valves bad for the map sensor for the recirculating air isn't it a diverter valve that you need ?
blow off is releasing all the air, diverter valve diverts air back into the engine, i.e wont need to get boost again

You need to tune it, a VTA bov should not flutter that much, should be mostly bov. Opening way to late or not enough.
