Ran the vacuum the same way you would run the Forge bov. It wasn't getting proper vacuum. If you watch the newest Build update you can hear what it sounds like with proper vacuum.

I want to do a hks blow off but all I keep hearing is that vw are meant for blow off valves that’s why they have diverter valves to recirculat the air back in. And I also can find a pipe with the flange welded on it for the hks to hook up to did you fabricate your own ?
Also i had a 2018 gti and turned off the synthetic sound off and the turbo soune amazing i npw have q 2019 gti and the turbo flutter is no where to be heard you recommend me to get that part?
Search on yt videos of this BoV . You will see what i mean . After that check your vauccum lines if they are well connected because it's not normal to sound like that

If to have the Stututu you need to remove the valve so that the air returns to the turbine. How can you do the stututu using a valve? Being that in fact the Stututu comes from car turbos with the valve removed.

yeah it’s compressor surge, too must pressure for the blow off valve to release, he’s damaging the turbo with each sutututu. granted it’ll probably never break because it barely harms it, just not good.
Yeah... it is the turbo fluttering but this will never damage your turbo, only gonna brake or desaccelerate it. Turbo surge is the real problem and its not the same as fluttering.
Why is there a bit stututu if you have a blow off valve? The sense of the blow off valve is to reduce this stutututu as it is bad for the turbo charger. If you go away from the throttle the turbo still produces pressure, but this pressure can't be use as you don't put on the throttle. The overpressure goes back to the turbo and tries to flee and thats why the stutututu can be heard. A blow off valve is there to let the overpressure out, so the turbo can't get any damage

The BOV is universal, however the kit from USP is for the MK7. Also it is not recommended to use BOV's on the MK6 because it uses a MAF instead of a MAP sensor.
You're BOV is NOT working properly. I'd be willing to bet it's not even working at all. That sound you hear is compressor surge and happens when your BOV is stuck closed or not nearly opening enough. HKS BOVs make a high pitch whistle and what your setup is doing is potentially damaging your turbo as the compressed air has nowhere to go. Get yourself a proper boost tap and you'll see what I'm talking about. I've had HKS BOVs in a few different cars and they all sound pretty similar and nothing like the surge your getting.
Technically that's not compressor surge either, just plain turbo flutter which isn't all that bad for the turbo, compressor surge only occurs under load causing vibration in the turbine wheel which is when the damage happens
compressor surge can happen when under load or off throttle. this is off throttle surge. blow off isn't venting air fast enough causing the turbo to stall. surge under load means the engine is getting too much air and can't move it fast enough causing surge. get it right so thousands of people don't get misinformation

@Kevin martinez it's not bad for the car but just makes it run a little more rich in between shifts because depending on if your car is map or maf sensor based you'll probably get more pops in shifts that's about it and you'll notice a very slight hesitation if you dump and immediately get back into throttle

Wow you are right, no MAF, found a MAP. What a sudden change since VW has used MAFs since the 90's. Does this mean they dumped the Motronic as well?

If you are talking about the rain guards they are called "Well Visors" and they do not affect the function of the windows at all.
GrizzlyTV i mean the sound you get at highway speeds with window down. My golf R with front windows down has a resonating sound.

Simple, he's not venting enough to atmosphere. He needs to adjust the bov.
For my vag cars I roll with the forge. I have a splitter on my b5, and a 008 on my fiance's mk4 Gti. They are both reflect tuned and catless.

No the turbo is not in my OME, it was in my CAR.

blow off is releasing all the air, diverter valve diverts air back into the engine, i.e wont need to get boost again

It is from USP it is the "SQV4" from HKS. Stock insert, nothing changed.
