Interesting that it is reported that dogs and cats "starved to death" in about 10 days. That is extremely unlikely though perhaps without enough water, they could have dehydrated in the heat. In a state of actual starvation, some among the dogs and cats would have scavenged those that had already died, thus obtaining adequate nutrition. Rabbits on the other hand would be more at risk from lack of food or water and they survived. There are some oddities in the story and not much follow up online.

When will women and Society understand that if someone is beating you they are not your family anymore. Just because you married them thinking you'd be family for life they are not your family forever if what day do to you proves that they don't have that same caring and obligation toward you. You married an illusion and you need to leave. You are not abandoning a family member that you swore to love forever you're abandoning The Stranger they've been all along. And likewise once someone starts beating or badly of using a family member especially if it's a marriage partner people should no longer regard them as family. Police should investigate and prosecutors to prosecute whatever they do as if they were perfect strangers. Yes assaults and murderers wouldn't be considered quite the same as if they attacked someone in Cold Blood but honestly if you murdered a neighbor because you had an argument with them it might be murdered two instead of murder one but it would be murder. Likewise an assault would still be an assault. But when you are married to someone and it's regarded as a family illness, family problem, family conflict than it is not treated as a violent crime that it is! Nor all-too-often does the victim see it as the same crime they would if they were not already married to the criminal. We need to train ourselves and those potential victims out of that mindset. If the person you married appears to be a stranger now, they are a stranger and the person you thought you married never existed. They may do anything to you and they may not be prevented from it or investigated properly afterwards because it will be regarded as a family dispute or a climb of passion related to conflict between family members. It's nothing of the kind.

I’d want AN EXPLANATION for being HELD AT GUNPOINT… for an HOUR! Who wouldn’t?!
Mass what? Is a serial killer not a mass murder clown. That means something else.
@@loredanadincu4300 u call him what u want sister,or brother what ever blows your hair back
@@m118lr the cops are investigating a crime and don't have give u the details,it's self-evident what's going on I'm sure the snow cones pieced that much together,I hope.Obviously it was a serious situation and the cops weren't looking for a J walker,They usually have a reason if they don't inform some entitled lib of all the heinous crimes the sought after villain is being sought for Hell theyd would probably sue the cops for scaring the hell out of em if they did tell, prob never go to a park again get xanex for PTSD and go live in an hollowed out tree somewhere.
Wow just came Across this
I don't get why information would be withheld. Unbelievable. I hard earned $$$ at work.
A 1 and one-half acre property is not a “farm”!! 😂🤣

Mormonism isn’t a branch of Christianity
Edited to add (since my replies mysteriously disappear here): Mormonism still isn't a branch of Christianity.
All religions are made for man, by man
Do they not pray to Jesus?
Define "Christianity".
@@jturtle5318 they, in fact, do not. Mormonism rejects Trinitarian doctrine and the very nature of Jesus Christ. This, along with other aspects of Mormonism, makes labeling it a “branch of Christianity” impossible.
@@jturtle5318"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), informally known as the Mormon Church."
"Come Closer to Jesus Christ through Study of the Book of Mormon. Get an introduction to the Book of Mormon with missionaries. We’ll help you deepen your understanding of Jesus by reading more of His word. Then continue learning with us in your home, online, and at church."
So they'll teach us his nonsense, but pray to the dude… for the love of Dog, don't go and do that otherwise that's one eternity in hell for you.
Plus there's that whole polygamy thing going on, so more wives and one will come harder… I mean closer to Jesus. Just don't get any in his hair. 😮
Same scat different shovel! 🇭🇲
Yes, he’s definitely a psychopath and cunning enough to fake his own death in the forest. He could well be living somewhere else, taking advantage of other women.
Wait... Gerald was into Hinduism, but loved guns, and hunting? Ummmm. Ok.

Forgive me for openly sharing such a judgemental & unnecessary comment. .... I'm sure I cannot be the only one in the true crime community that has felt the similar personal opinion.
...your reply to the other user about it being 'obvious' that your post was written before you finished the episode is why I felt the need to leave you one... Obviously.
It would be obvious if you added that you in fact, were still listening to it. That's what I do, obviously. 🙄
Maybe he was a hypocrite? Many people don't really follow their religion correctly.
I’d file suit if my family, including my young child were basically detained at gunpoint by God knows how many officers. That’s traumatic and violates civil rights to the point of almost being terroristic. Understanding that they had reason to believe they may be stopping a violent and dangerous man; there was no need to drag out identifying the occupants for over an hour at gunpoint🤨
Does anyone know if Case File has covered the Bain family murders yet?
This man takes them on vacations, and she wants him to help pay her mortgage too??!! 😂🤣
Why not
He was enjoying her company and she was making him happy so what’s the problem
They were a couple for 18 months and the daughter was calling him Dad. It seemed like the relationship was serious. Seems reasonable in that amount of time to move in together. Or if he could help. It wasn't like they were dating 18 days.
Why not?

It was still 13 years difference you clown. You aren't that smart aparently.
That is an older man in my book with roughly ten years on her any more than ten years would possibly be a much older man

Since he was a survival specialist, I bet he had caches all over the forest, just in case, so he could survive.
He may have even had an underground house
Why in the world would a single retired man buy a 4 bedroom 2 bath house for retirement??!! 😂🤣
Investment property. 🤷♂️

I feel for the Father who had a heart attack - men are so disposable.
That guy was skinny & over 60 yrs old! 140 lbs & over 6 feet tall? Many women could have physically taken this coward down unless he had some kind of martial arts training. That’s why he used guns & manipulation.
