it's somewhat difficult to space things out. The in game geography, physics, and economics is all sorts of screwed up as far as reality goes. So I have to make some allowances for fantasy. As far as humanizing things what I hope that I am doing is writing history. What I hope that people take away is that people are complicated and good people sometimes do really terrible things but some bad people sometimes do good things. All these people have their reasons for what they do. Another thing I hope that they take away is that almost no historical figure has ever thought to themselves "I am going to do evil things for evil reasons". Their reasons for what they do may not be well thought out but many of these evil people see themselves as the hero or the oppressed in their story. It really comes down to how people interpret their actions over time that determines how they are remembered.

Gosh, this video once gain captured me from beginning to end. Thinking how much you have come from you first videos of a shared brotherhood minutemen factory and what quality of storytelling you have reached. How the war is going, with not everything goes to plan, how much of an inpact espionage can have up to how costly turning a blind eye on clear signs can turn out (in this case the movement of super mutants to the glowing sea), the story really felt alive an beliveable. Can't wait for the final showdown over the fate of the commenwealth! Spoiler: The post credit scene makes everything far more interesting....will it serve or turn against it's new masters?

This series is exactly what I've been looking for. I've always thought about the lore of fallout and how the minutemen would rebuild. Keep up the great work!
Virgils character here is quite confused. During a conversation with the sole survivor, he communicates his desire to make another cure for the FEV virus and start a movement to reverse the mutations in affected humans. Here, it seems that despite the institutes attempt to assasinate him after his escape, he angered by its destruction ( cannon, i know ) and somehow this completely reverses his earlier position on curing FEV, instead prompting him to....infect more- which completely contradicts his reasoning for leaving the institute to begin with. The grand irony with this story arc, is if virgil had not left the institute to begin with, the sole survivor might not have been able to succeed in finding it at all, and its destruction may not have come about.
one thing I thought about when writing virgil is that the mutation might have warped him mentally as well as physically. Becoming a mutant might have made him more aggressive and violent.
🤷♂️ welp that’s a wrap. Frank’s back on the scene. It was a good effort Preston you guys really did your thing but you can’t win them all. Enclave is probably reverse engineering a modified version Curling-13 to wipe out all the supermutants once it’s all said and done too😂.
oh I would not doubt it. The enclave-mutant relationship isn't one of mutual trust. Both sides eventually plan to wipe the other out. They just have a common enemy right now.

I love some of the outfit designs for the super mutant army. Torment especially since they’re just covered in as many skulls as they can fit 😂 or the nightkin in an Ushanka Hat. They look very cozy and content
yeah that skull outfit was over the top. One of the things I noticed early on was how few outfits that super mutants actually had so in a large crowd they eventually wind up looking like clones. So this mod I found adds some variety

It would be interesting to see what the railroad is doing during this war. On the one hand, it is in no one’s interests for Super Mutants to slaughter every synth they come across in the commonwealth, but at the same time a weakened minutemen allows for the possibility of them filling in the power vacuum. Also, will Fawkes be making an appearance?
I can imagine this Being what brings the Sole survivor of the Great War, the Courrier of the Mohave , and the Hero of the capital wastes (who probably cannonicaly ain’t dead) into the same area, all for a showdown against an age old foe.
what happened to the super mutants in jacobstown and what happened to marcus? I'm assuming the signal reached them since there have been super mutants coming here all the way from california apparently.
from a technical viewpoint, there is no marcus mutant model that I can use. there was also no tabitha or lily models. I tried using mutant clothes to approximate these but they looked terrible. So the best and only thing that I can do is just pretend that they don't exist. Not a great option I know, but people are already upset about Strong joining the invasion. I would probably have a riot if marcus and lily showed up.

This serie convinced me to buy again fallout 4 mod it again, break a hard drive in the process, buying a new hard drive and conquer and fortify all settlements i could grab xD Perfect scenario mate, in my mind this is canon ! The addition of Horrigan at the end is just frightening
Kinda wish you made strong ,fawkes lilly,dog and marcus and the Jacobstown mutants become a super mutant group that helps the humans. Or maybe have strong become conflicted due to his friendship with the nate/nora.
most of the people I talked to about these characters from new vegas and fallout 3 preferred that they not be involved. Besides this I did not have a physical model for lily or marcus. Strong is and has always been very proud of being a super mutant and he would probably always side with the mutants in any fight. Dog was a last minute addition as I needed a suicider mutant to bomb the railroad station. Rather than use some generic mutant I decided to use him due to his complicated history.

I have a lot of questions, my first question is what happens to the military APCs and Tanks scattered over Boston? Will the minutemen fix them and transport troops? Or will the turrets be ripped off and put in the ground as defenses, or will they entirely be scrapped and new ones be made? Second question is what did troops think of the laser muskets were issued? Third question is will the minutemen have a sort of marines, and will use the marine armor from far harbor? Fourth question, what will the minutemen think of the nuke in far harbor? Fifth question, what will the minutemen think of Canada and Mexico? Will they annex them like the U.S.A government before them? Or will they completely avoid them and only take back America? Sixth question is will the minutemen ever use a nuclear missile or install any nuclear silos across the commonwealth?
Actually I have a seventh question, what will the commonwealth and minutemen do about the many skeletons everywhere? Will they bury all of the ones they can find in a giant memorial and make a sort of tomb of the unknown soldier for all of the lost dead people in the nuclear blast and the first few days? Or will they burn the skeletons but still make a tomb of the unknown soldier? And is there any memorials around the commonwealth for the many dead or how many people died here?
the brotherhood has the technology to repair these vehicles but wont share. commonwealth scientists are trying to repair these but dont have a solution yet. This is covered in the civilian video. There is a whole section on the laser musket in the minuteman equipment video. There is a minuteman marine company. it's covered in the chapter 3 of the units videos and mentioned in far harbor 3, new hampshire 1, 2, and 3. They will come back in glowing sea 3 The minutemen think the nuke in far harbor was destroyed but dont know that the enclave has it The commonwealth has a treaty with a city state in quebec. They dont know mexico. They have no interest in nuclear weapons at the moment.

@@NateHatesCanada As I said above, commonwealth scientists are trying to repair these but don't have a solution yet. Right now they're trying to get the fusion power sources to work otherwise they wont work. As they're giant lumps of metal. Moving them is difficult. So hopefully in ten or so years they will get them moving. The sole survivor took off in 2288. The commonwealth is on its own. Marine armor is not that common so marines are making do with what they can get which is pretty standard for US marines nowadays
I wonder if the mechanist will make an appearance in this for they could very well manufacture an army to overwhelm the mutant horde and save the commonwealth that way. That is if: 1. They didn’t appear during the Sole survivors active role in the commonwealth 2. If 1 occurs the explanation could be they noticed the flaw in the directive of the robobrains and decided to not release them and either store them as a last resort or spend this time fixing them. 3. In this time frame they could have also developed something new altogether but I will say that is a hard maybe. Overall I am eager to see how this plays out.
A strange radio signal comes from the Dunwitch excavation. A group of settlers comes forward. Their leader calls himself Grois and asks the Minuteman for help and asks for a strong army. President Hancock decides to send in Preston Garvey. Preston assembles his team from Concord and heads out. Preston's group arrives at the edge of the Dunwitch excavation and finds an abnormally large person in a cloak under which it is impossible to tell what or who it could be. Preston asks if the person is the one who sent the call for help. The person answers yes and asks Preston's group if they would help someone who is not their species. Preston replies that the Minuteman gives protection to Guhle, robots and even synths, but they are at war with the super mutants. The person tells Preston I am none of the above. The person first says that her name is Goris and asks what Preston knows about Deathclaws and Vault 13. Preston answers deathclaws, you should stay out of the way if possible or kill with large weapons. He doesn't know anything about Vault 13. Goris tells Preston that he comes from Vault 13 and tells him about the Enclave's experiments with deathclaws and their intelligence increase through the FEV virus. Preston finally wants to know who is under the cloak. Goris asks not to shoot him straight away out of fright. Preston's group puts down their weapons and Goris takes off his coat. The shock of what Preston's group sees is written on their faces. Goris is a Giant Albino White Alpha Deathclaw. Goris assures that no one will be harmed and says that his group is being pursued by super mutants and the Enclave. Preston asks how he could help Gori's group. In almost all settlements, Gori's group would cause panic. Goris suggests the castle as a solution, which is mainly only occupied by Minuteman, and asks for a basement for the alpha female and the young. Preston agrees. The Enclave has already been very hard on the Brotherhood of Steel. Gori's group likes their new home and, as promised, the Minuteman have Deathclaws to reinforce their ranks. This help proves to be very useful for the Minuteman and is known in the military as special cavernery.
This is all canon as far as im concerned. Keep up the good work. On a side note, why aren't the minutemen augmenting their forces with robots? Eyebots would make for excellent runners if radio communications go down.
mainly the robots are being used in city construction jobs. It's a lot cheaper to put a dirt poor farmer in uniform than to keep a robot in the role. It's one of things that will take a while to solve.
You should have a video of what type of food the minutemen are equipped, like example how cram is equipped on some NCR troopers, and is the commonwealth going to attempt to restore the environment such as the water levels and grass color? What happens to the mass fusion disposal area? What happens to the many radioactive barrels? Is gold and silver bars now accepted as an expensive currency again? How about what happens if the commonwealth or minutemen arrive at Appalachia and if the overseer’s mission of capturing the nukes have failed and nukes are still continuously going off or getting launched?
there's a whole video about minutemen equipment. The commonwealth government is slowly restoring services. radioactive materials are being used to create power sources and ammunition since physics apparently works that way in this universe. gold and silver are valuable but they're not abundant enough to use as currency. Appalachia will take place probably 20 to 30 years after which is way beyond the scope of these videos. The sole survivor left.
@@nexbil01 There was also a mention of gift cards in nuka world Bradberton, what happens to the gift cards? Also what about the charge card? It’s like a credit card but most shops don’t accept it, and is made to be a scam, BUT in far harbor, a shop person guy lets you redeem it for 100 caps.

This serie convinced me to buy again fallout 4 mod it again, break a hard drive in the process, buying a new hard drive and conquer and fortify all settlements i could grab xD

Kinda wish you made strong ,fawkes lilly,dog and marcus and the Jacobstown mutants become a super mutant group that helps the humans.
Or maybe have strong become conflicted due to his friendship with the nate/nora.
most of the people I talked to about these characters from new vegas and fallout 3 preferred that they not be involved. Besides this I did not have a physical model for lily or marcus.
Strong is and has always been very proud of being a super mutant and he would probably always side with the mutants in any fight.
Dog was a last minute addition as I needed a suicider mutant to bomb the railroad station. Rather than use some generic mutant I decided to use him due to his complicated history.

I have a lot of questions, my first question is what happens to the military APCs and Tanks scattered over Boston? Will the minutemen fix them and transport troops? Or will the turrets be ripped off and put in the ground as defenses, or will they entirely be scrapped and new ones be made? Second question is what did troops think of the laser muskets were issued? Third question is will the minutemen have a sort of marines, and will use the marine armor from far harbor? Fourth question, what will the minutemen think of the nuke in far harbor? Fifth question, what will the minutemen think of Canada and Mexico? Will they annex them like the U.S.A government before them? Or will they completely avoid them and only take back America? Sixth question is will the minutemen ever use a nuclear missile or install any nuclear silos across the commonwealth?
Actually I have a seventh question, what will the commonwealth and minutemen do about the many skeletons everywhere? Will they bury all of the ones they can find in a giant memorial and make a sort of tomb of the unknown soldier for all of the lost dead people in the nuclear blast and the first few days? Or will they burn the skeletons but still make a tomb of the unknown soldier? And is there any memorials around the commonwealth for the many dead or how many people died here?
the brotherhood has the technology to repair these vehicles but wont share. commonwealth scientists are trying to repair these but dont have a solution yet. This is covered in the civilian video.

There is a minuteman marine company. it's covered in the chapter 3 of the units videos and mentioned in far harbor 3, new hampshire 1, 2, and 3. They will come back in glowing sea 3
The minutemen think the nuke in far harbor was destroyed but dont know that the enclave has it
The commonwealth has a treaty with a city state in quebec. They dont know mexico.
They have no interest in nuclear weapons at the moment.
@@nexbil01 You really didn’t answer my questions, what is happening to the tanks and the APC vehicles currently? Are some getting scrapped? Or are scientists and engineers actively attempting to fix them for safer transport of troops and more stronger firepower, but also wouldn’t the sole survivor explain what happened pre-war if interviewed like in the game? Also are the marines using the marine armor from harbor?

@@NateHatesCanada As I said above, commonwealth scientists are trying to repair these but don't have a solution yet. Right now they're trying to get the fusion power sources to work otherwise they wont work. As they're giant lumps of metal. Moving them is difficult. So hopefully in ten or so years they will get them moving.
The sole survivor took off in 2288. The commonwealth is on its own.
Marine armor is not that common so marines are making do with what they can get which is pretty standard for US marines nowadays

I wonder if the mechanist will make an appearance in this for they could very well manufacture an army to overwhelm the mutant horde and save the commonwealth that way.
That is if:
1. They didn’t appear during the Sole survivors active role in the commonwealth
2. If 1 occurs the explanation could be they noticed the flaw in the directive of the robobrains and decided to not release them and either store them as a last resort or spend this time fixing them.
3. In this time frame they could have also developed something new altogether but I will say that is a hard maybe.
Overall I am eager to see how this plays out.

A strange radio signal comes from the Dunwitch excavation. A group of settlers comes forward. Their leader calls himself Grois and asks the Minuteman for help and asks for a strong army. President Hancock decides to send in Preston Garvey. Preston assembles his team from Concord and heads out. Preston's group arrives at the edge of the Dunwitch excavation and finds an abnormally large person in a cloak under which it is impossible to tell what or who it could be. Preston asks if the person is the one who sent the call for help. The person answers yes and asks Preston's group if they would help someone who is not their species. Preston replies that the Minuteman gives protection to Guhle, robots and even synths, but they are at war with the super mutants. The person tells Preston I am none of the above. The person first says that her name is Goris and asks what Preston knows about Deathclaws and Vault 13. Preston answers deathclaws, you should stay out of the way if possible or kill with large weapons. He doesn't know anything about Vault 13. Goris tells Preston that he comes from Vault 13 and tells him about the Enclave's experiments with deathclaws and their intelligence increase through the FEV virus. Preston finally wants to know who is under the cloak. Goris asks not to shoot him straight away out of fright. Preston's group puts down their weapons and Goris takes off his coat. The shock of what Preston's group sees is written on their faces. Goris is a Giant Albino White Alpha Deathclaw. Goris assures that no one will be harmed and says that his group is being pursued by super mutants and the Enclave. Preston asks how he could help Gori's group. In almost all settlements, Gori's group would cause panic. Goris suggests the castle as a solution, which is mainly only occupied by Minuteman, and asks for a basement for the alpha female and the young. Preston agrees. The Enclave has already been very hard on the Brotherhood of Steel. Gori's group likes their new home and, as promised, the Minuteman have Deathclaws to reinforce their ranks. This help proves to be very useful for the Minuteman and is known in the military as special cavernery.

This is all canon as far as im concerned. Keep up the good work. On a side note, why aren't the minutemen augmenting their forces with robots? Eyebots would make for excellent runners if radio communications go down.
mainly the robots are being used in city construction jobs. It's a lot cheaper to put a dirt poor farmer in uniform than to keep a robot in the role. It's one of things that will take a while to solve.
You should have a video of what type of food the minutemen are equipped, like example how cram is equipped on some NCR troopers, and is the commonwealth going to attempt to restore the environment such as the water levels and grass color? What happens to the mass fusion disposal area? What happens to the many radioactive barrels? Is gold and silver bars now accepted as an expensive currency again? How about what happens if the commonwealth or minutemen arrive at Appalachia and if the overseer’s mission of capturing the nukes have failed and nukes are still continuously going off or getting launched?
Also what happens to historical sites and historical items such as normal muskets?
there's a whole video about minutemen equipment. The commonwealth government is slowly restoring services. radioactive materials are being used to create power sources and ammunition since physics apparently works that way in this universe. gold and silver are valuable but they're not abundant enough to use as currency. Appalachia will take place probably 20 to 30 years after which is way beyond the scope of these videos. The sole survivor left.
some rich people like to collect antiques and some historical items are useful but for the most part they are being recycled

@@nexbil01 There was also a mention of gift cards in nuka world Bradberton, what happens to the gift cards? Also what about the charge card? It’s like a credit card but most shops don’t accept it, and is made to be a scam, BUT in far harbor, a shop person guy lets you redeem it for 100 caps.
