Would be very nice to see Heavy Marine armor being used as Heavy Trooper's agaisnt the Super-Mutants
the reason being that after the conquest of Far Harbor, the Marines of the minutemen would be heavily interested in the Marine Armor as they took from the CoA & recorved armor pieces on the ocean, and use them for more direct assaults.
with the Super-Mutants strenght & powerful weaponary, the Minutemen began employing those suits of armor for some sucess in the Close Quarter & Open Fiend combats
I am sure that they will throw everything that they have into the fight with the super mutants

I formed my MM as two main branches. Army with Army Aircorp which holds the vertibirds. Navy with Marines being the infantry force within their branch. Due to low number of the military personnel it was more cost effective to fold the concept for the Airforce and Marines into either branch.

I also think t should be time for atleast some mremebrs of the NCR to begin communicating the th commonwealth government alongside a couple ofther smaller but powerful risisng nations that will make deals with the commonwealth in order for them commonwealth to guarantee their security. btw love the series.
@@nialljones3227 so all of this is called Track 1, the commonwealth ending and it is going on long term pause after this series.
Track 2, the brotherhood ending begins next year.
The NCR embassy video next year will be a Track 1 story and I and some people on the discord are beginning work on it in August. It will be 90 minutes long. Probably release in Summer of 24.

Although for this series it’s the beginning of the end in the story of the Commonwealth it is simply the end of the beginning. I love this series as a fallout and especially minuteman fan and I’m excited for its climax

I speculate, and I give nex full permission to use this idea, this war will be when the synths and robots shine when it comes to taking the fight to the mutants in the glowing sea. X6 would have no issue assassinating Virgil once he knows where he is.

So uhh after or during the Glowing Sea War should you also explain about settlements expansion? Example. Sanctuary where the Sole Survivor lived and started becames the New DC theres some mods turnig Sanctuary into Washington DC, also would the Minutemen will have Tank, Humvees, Trucks and APCs just like Fallout Tactics? (I know its non-canon but it does look cool) and perheps replace the F04 Assault Rifle to a better AR like the FAL FN or the Service Rifles from Fallout: New Vegas
Also im not sure if this will ever happened but i think that War between Commonwealth and Brotherhood maybe start over Expansion, Technological discovery or Welcoming Institute/Enclave to the Commonwealth for better info.
Also we never heard about the Railroad since the Institute is Gone, there is no purpose for them to free the synth, maybe they continue to harbour Institute and escaped synth from brotherhood and Commonwealth sparking another conflict.
they already use the R91 rifle from fallout 3.
Neither the institute nor the enclave will ever join the commonwealth primarily because they hate the idea of the commonwealth for their own reasons.

the story is set 10 years after the institute and downtown boston still looks like garbage and there's no mod or anything that will fix that.
I can't really do more stories in boston with it looking so bad. So I have to end or at least pause the story there.
But we are doing the brotherhood ending next year.
As to vehicles, the mods for vehicles are kind of bad plus they only animate 1 vehicle at a time. I've played around with scenes with vehicles and they just dont look right.

I think that since there is Enclave power armor everywhere in fo4, that the Enclave probably had a presence there once.
I've thought of a tale which states that after the great war, remnants of the pre-war police rallied together to try and help the survivors, under the leadership of Commissioner Turner (The guy who was in charge of the Boston Police department before the war). Part of their ideology was a belief that one day, the United States government would return and reestablish order. And this idea motivated the police to continue working for years, even as their mission and cause looked hopeless. This became important when the Enclave arrived to set up a base in the commonwealth, as the Police believed the Enclave to be the prophesized government come to liberate the wasteland, and so the Police jumped to serve the Enclave. But the Enclave isn't the nation the Police hoped, and the Enclave instead began committing genocidal and evil actions. These actions caused a rift in the police leadership. With the anti-Enclave policemen breaking off from the Police to form a band of Outcasts under the leadership of Jonathan Widmark (The guy who led the Eddie Winter investigation before the war). Eventually, a coalition of the Outcasts, settlements, and the Institute destroyed the Enclave and the Police in a large, bloody war. The Outcasts, who are left nearly destroyed in the war with the Enclave, retreat to the Castle. Where Widmark reforms the Outcasts into the Minutemen, with himself as the 1st general. And with moral ideals, the Minutemen began slowly rebuilding... The Institute meanwhile emerged as the greatest power in the coalition, and so it would dominate Commonwealth politics for generations to come.
there's no doubt that the enclave has travelled all around the wasteland in their vertibirds collecting various things that they need or want. Thing is though is that they don't want the people of the wasteland. They've made that very clear in fallout 2 and 3 .
They don't necessarily want to massacre them but they definitely don't want anything to do with them. Their whole plan was survive the apocalypse and say goodbye earth, hello moon or mars or somewhere else.
Plan didn't turn out that way and after fallout 2 and 3 they're kind of stuck and don't have much of an idea of what to do now. There are all these wasteland factions coming up and they need to figure out how to deal with them.
@@nexbil01 Indeed, the Enclave in my setting is really only there to exploit the naivety of the wastelanders for resources, people for forced labor and fev experiments, and other stuff. They originally came to the commonwealth to grab some technology in the financial district, and upon learning of the popularity of the US in the region, decided to set up shop and exploit it.

got this video recommended to me a week ago and after going though the entire playlist i just have to say how much i love everything about this series. Im actually hyped to see the rest of the Glowing Sea war and beyond like the travels of SS and what will happen if the BoS and the Commonwealth go the way of the NCR and their own Brotherhood.

Ive been writing up my own fan fic on what might happen after the events of FO4 and i had a similar idea for Virgil!
One thing Fallout 4 did superbly well is setting up the potential for future events.
This led to my little fan fic thought experiment evolving into a sequel set 12 years after the events of the game from a non linear open storyline progression to game mechanics.
Currently trying to get these ideas into mods, but first i need to figure out how to make mods beyond just changing values and textures lol
yes, I often get the comment that this story line should be a mod but this would basically be a whole new game. I've pushed the game even with mods beyond its limits. So yes it would be nice if it were a mod but this would be something that even a team of game developers would find challenging

Hey, nexbil, just got caught up with your series, and I gotta say I'm enjoying it, and I had the very same conclusions as you did for your stories which is so wild but at the same time not too surprising since bethesda laid the foundations for these conclusion but too every one's surprise didn't add them to the main game. So I'm glad that your bringing these unfinished stories to life. I have A little food for thought for you that you might want to add to either this story or if you planned to make one expanding on the return of the enclave if you're interested. That the institute survivors lead by the courser scientist (I forget his name) teams up with enclave and builds a gen 1&2 army for the enclave to use against the commonwealth building them at a secret facility to avenge the destruction of the institute. I was thinking that vault 120 cut content would be a perfect place
I don't know what I will do with the institute. I wrote them off the page a few years back. And honestly I am not anxious to bring them back.
Their "transporter" and synth technologies area universe breaking technologies that would put them so far ahead of anyone else that it would make competition pointless.
Eventually I will do an institute ending where the institute wins and remakes the commonwealth according to them but that's not coming out till at least 2025 if not later.

Crime is the responsibility of the Boston police department and the commonwealth marshals. I may do a video on the intelligence agency along with some other government offices sometime next year.
A lot of creatures live in the glowing sea there would be plenty of Gunners trying to make a foothold in the glowing sea as well as revenants of The Enclave a lot of destroyed military bases in the glowing sea a lot of pre-war items
The super mutants would take over a lot of the glowing sea bear events and very strong Army especially when they have the right weapons
The enclave and Virgil with an army of super mutants it'll be like a super Army

Rewatching this before part 2 releases. Not sure about the setup.
I didn't pay much mind to the Enclave's appearance in the Far Harbor story, but setting them up as this mastermind behind the presumed villains-of-the-week is kind of disappointing. Never found the Enclave compelling to start, and their repeated returns make them less so, as their defeats are made meaningless (especially when they're all across the country so they can broadcast the lure, which kind of makes them traveling to DC in 3 from Navarro questionable.)
I like the Minutemen being on the defensive in their home turf, with Garvey on the tip of the spear. How the invading army gets formed is suspect, with how few Super Mutants their would be by that point, Mariposa destroyed and 87 empty, with Appalachia having both Steel Reign and possibly Nuclear Winter (though I guess that isn't canon in this series.) Shout out to the Centaur pulling a carriage. A gross, yet cool visual.
I really hate to be that guy and keep banging this drum, but the Railroad's writing here is bafflingly bad. Lumping in abolitionists alongside crime syndicates and corrupt, wealthy businesses is boneheaded, and frankly disgusting. Apparently abolitionists are famous for dragging down others for their selfish goals; especially ones who opposed a group of such character for decades. Also, Dez has some serious nerve to question Deacon's loyalties after decades of work around this time, then work with these out-of-nowhere Enclave spies. Fittingly hypocritical for her, but that nobody opposes or at least questions her decisions (like Carrington, Glory and some agents do over the vanilla story) makes me think either Radscorpions burrowed into HQ and stung everyone's skulls, or you really don't know anything about the Railroad (still offering being a lore wrangler.) They don't hate the Commonwealth and want it destroyed - they're some of the people who live in it; depend on those in it to support their efforts.
Originally when I started this whole thing 3 or so years ago I did not know what to do with the railroad. It was badly written and needed a total rewrite frankly.
My first idea was that the railroad would not accept the new commonwealth as is and turn more into a t*rrorist group like those people causing problems right now. That they would use their new synth tanks to slowly replace human leaders and try to take over.
My idea for the glowing sea war was that they would ally with the enclave to do a lot of mischief. However with things that are happening right now I am backing away from that idea.

Having played America Rising II, I fell in love with this particular faction of The Enclave... used mods to Enclave'ize the Minutemen. Would be interesting to see what would become of this line, under Colonel Whitehill of course (a more humanitarian leader). This video, made me go back to Virgil and shoot him.

I would like to know if there is any possibility of the Brotherhood declaring war on the Commonwealth government... It would be a good way to assess whether their army is on par with what is currently the best post-nuclear American military (excluding the NCR).
they're actually allied with the commonwealth to prepare themselves to eventually face off with the NCR sometime in the future

unfortunately the mod that I need, the capital wasteland mod, is not ready. So until that is done I can't really do that
