Why is she labelled as a “lazy mom” ??!…..but the husband doesn’t get labelled as anything. They all live there. They are ALL responsible for the mess.
i think they most likely said that because she’s the one that has the “sentimental attachment” to the boys stuff
People too judgemental and are quick to make personal insults about the hoarders.
Because women normally run the household and decide what to keep or throw and also when she wasn’t there it was evident the husband had no clue what to keep or throw away
Good comment, it’s everyone’s responsibility not just mum. Kids are older enough to help with packing toys away, taking the rubbish out and helping to wash up.
@@tpwkjess I know where, you're coming from. For me this still doesn't t justify the title of her allegedly being "too lazy to clean". Being a hoarder and being too lazy to clean are completely diffrent things. They really did her dirty with that title, as it puts certain harmful stereotypes on her and portrays her as the "bad mother"
First woman is dealing with unresolved childhood trauma. Second woman (who works) has no help from her husband and two children old enough to clean their rooms.
1st lady has OCD and is passing that down to her kid. She is excessive. And where she lives is more like a museum than a home.
The children have never been taught how to clean their rooms. Their mother is a slob with a disgusting bedroom. Please tell me how or why those boys should tidy while she does nowt?
Lazy!!! She spends all day at work and then has to deal with this!! Would say overwhelmed more than lazy!!!
L-A-Z-Y
Just get on with it
Many of us work, then come home & clean, or at the very least…clean on days off!
@GreatMindsSeekTruth
Yes which is why she’s on this programme and not u!
Absolutely born idol! I would be ashamed to be on camera!
Zara is totally OCD
"I don't wanna be a lunatic"had me😂
Same 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I work over 200 hours in a month and frankly some days I’m too drained to clean,u know what my husband does? He sends me to take a nap and helps as well!
I love the Daughters “I don’t want to be a lunatic”.
Maybe Mom gets lost in cleaning so she doesn’t have to think?
I hope both Moms can learn from each other.
🇺🇸🙏🏻💙🪷🕊🕉✝️❤️
One, labeling her a “Lazy Mum” is wild. The Dad lives there too. Two, that lady threw away one of the kids handprints-Insane! And three, they both need help-not just the one who’s house is getting organized and cleaned.
Yeah throwing away the handprint was too much
It's not wild if she's taking care of the house...
Who’s at the house more? Her or him? Who goes out to work to pay the bills? Him or her?
@gintonicx6
THEY ARE BOTH NOT STAY AT HOME PARENTS!!!!!
Did ppl don’t even watch this?!?!
@@FrankskinOrweed-ep4ij he took the day off. Gosh.
I was brought up on pledge and I’m fine.
No. No you’re not fine. I admire your commitment to a clean home, but you’re taking it way too far.
Thank you!! She is definitely not fine-she needs psychological help. Her poor daughter, brushing the shag rug and reading insane rules.
Both women need help. My mum is like the first woman. When a clean home becomes obsessive and stops you from enjoying your home and your life, it is a problem.
People don't enjoy mess. How can you enjoy a messy house?
@sh.4409 I never said they do. Cleanliness is important to me but I'm not so obsessed by it that it stops me enjoying my home for fear of making a mess.
@@sh.4409 The first lady cleans her house 4 hours a day (not to mention the 15 hrs/week on her kitchen with 8 bottles of bleach), I don't think her house could get messy if she didn't clean for 24 hours. Also, who has a show sofa, pillows and towels and doesn't use them? As Kelley said, both need help, especially therapy, and I hope they're getting it.
Personally, I think both obsessive cleaning and not being able to clean/hoarding is unhealthy behaviours. When growing up my grandmother was a rather anxious perfectionist that feared what other should think of her and it was almost never fun visiting her or she visiting us, because it always centered around cleaning or other household chores that had to be done. Not child friendly at all and I hate cleaning because of that 😢
I think the ocd cleaners can learn more from spending time in a normal, clean home. I dont think seeing and being in a completely filthy home could help. My home is clean, in a normal way, but this show makes me want to clean more not less.
Anytime I don’t feel like cleaning these vids get e moving. My home is clean and tidy but these guys make me feel like it a trash heap😅
Same love watching these for motivation
I wonder who their sponsors are?🤔
Both woman need help. First one from a therapist, second one from her husband. If you both work, you both clean.
The husband asking where to put his own shorts... 😂
Proof he doesn't help tidy at all.
He was asking if they are in the keep or toss pile.
So the mom who is stopping her daughter from even sitting in their own home is qualified to come and tell someone else how to do things in their home?
This jumped into my feed. I had no idea what I was expect. I was so pleasantly surprised at these two ladies class from both of them. What a world we would live in if this is how we lived every day Miss Joe was never once condescending and was graciously, helpful and kind and I say loving about helping and never once made the family feel horrible further situation and the family was so lovely and accepting her help. The family took what she said and was never once offended. I have a big birthday coming in a couple of days and I’m struggling with the way of the world right now thank you for this video, and I am gonna keep both of these families in my hearts
Her kid putting her into place 😂
Yeah your like a robot who just has to clean 😂
Yes - totally love her.
She has OCD.
Child, " You're like a robot mum!"
Brilliant observation
I'm a dialysis patient, lives with my grown daughter who works full time. We keep our place tidy/clean by doing our shared responsibilities. It is not difficult to maintain an orderly and clean house if you always clean after your self.
I keep my house clean and tidy. But I wouldn’t let it take over my life. I live with my husband and grown up granddaughter. I want them to feel comfortable. I don’t want them stressing, I want them to relax and feel comfortable in our home.
8 bottles of bleach a week is insane😮
How her child is still alive is insane to me, that amount of bleach could easily kill a kid, let alone an adult.
Kim Woodburn would tell her it's well over the top, eight bottles a week.
It’s not very healthy either
They should call them the bleach Queens especially that one called Haley.
Forget the bleach, use white vinegar a lot safer and more effective.
A sofa and towels you cannot use? What's the point? It would be like buying food with the intention of not eating any of it but it sure "looks" good.
If it's all for "show", you cannot call it a "home". Just like food just sitting there, it cannot be called a meal.
Feel sorry for her daughter.
I grew up in a for show home- cold and unwelcoming - it gave me OCD and anxiety
@@AngelaRothbauerI'm so sorry! ❤
Pretty sure she said she has "show olive oil" she doesn't use 😆🫒
Show sofa and towels?
Show for who? Coz I bet she ain't got no mates
I wouldn't go visit it her for sure
Why is she a lazy mum, what about the dad?she doesn’t seem lazy she seems like she works hard and doesn’t get any help!
The second woman has hoarding tendencies and needs therapy. Attachment to a clutter is a dangerous sign.
from one extreme to another
Mom is a hoarder and she acknowledge that she has a problem and needs help. I can understand that she is overwelmed and needs help to make a new start.
This is no way to live… gonna turn her kid into an ocd, anxious mess
Yeah my thoughts too, its so sad
I abso loved the way Zahara took charge of the situation after Jo took the kids to school. Amazing seeing the two ladies working alongside each other. Well done 👏 👏
Shes is a lovely mom and loves her chidren ,but everybody needs to pitch in to clean the house including the husband and every week of course to clean the house .I hope they will learn from each other .
It is really too much stuff. Very hard to clean when every surface is covered in stuff
The compulsive, obsessive clean lady made me laugh when I saw her cleaning the leaves of that plant! For Heaven's Sake, that's a real plant! 🤣
I couldn't live like either family but yes, I wipe my house plant leaves over once in a while with a bit of water! They seem very happy, LOL
The maddest thing is the woman cleaning the house comes across more strange than the person with the mess.
The OCD cleaning lady should probably spend some of that time with her daughter, just a thought. I don’t think anyone could feel comfortable or welcome in her house.
I just think “show towels” are ridiculous. In fact I think they are vulgar. 😂
I get the impression Clive lacks direction and is willing to hand responsibilities over to his wife or anyone else. Maybe had a parent who did it all and never taught him. His wife seems anxious and overwhelmed. No confidence in either of them. Children need showing or they’ll carry this on.
That is a lot of work. It takes a new outlook on what you need and what you want. Bring something home..take something out..not just the trash.
I'll say one thing, it's amazing the children of these Hoarders weren't taken away from them. I'm so happy for The Children.
It's messy but it's not a squalor. Kids are fed n loved
Yet it's the ocd ones daughter calling her.mum a lunatic robot? & Poisoning the home's air
Poor child at the start with a list of things she can't do in her own home. No happiness there thats abuse.
And mum seems so proud about it.
It's cruel really. Not much of a childhood for the little girl.
Yes I feel so sorry for that little girl.what a life not being able to enjoy her childhood in a comfy home.
Zara heard her daughter when she said the robot. It’s a trigger. It’s a defensive mechanism and being single means she probably left someone who made her never feel good enough.
I am so proud of her for getting the help she needs and cleaning her house
Both women have issues, but They're both wonderful women.
People with a lot of money have less stuff, people with little have a lot of stuff.
I howled laughing when Zara said the husband needed to reach in his pants and find his own balls LOL.
Zara has beautiful home but needs to relax just a little but I am a lot like her.
Not allowing anyone to sit on her lounge, why have it, just ridiculous
I love that these cleaners bring order. But, with so much bleach, are they worried about chemical residue? It’s the first thing I think of, especially with kids involved. Little bodies can soak up chemical residue just as much as germs. Balance is everything I suppose 🤷🏻♀️♥️
LOVE WATCHING THESE VIDEOS
Oh sod that I’d rather live life being happy with my cat Steve than hoover 4 times a day.
That man is absurd. He is allowing his children to be neglected. It's not OK
His wife is ill- he is not stepping up.
Pathetic. You Must do right for your children if you have a wife or husband with mental health issues
Agreed, my sister has ADHD and slight autism she has 2 kids her husband works from home she also works from home on making things and writing shes always struggled with being a bit messy and dysfunctional but her her husband cleans the house top to bottom while she works and looks after the kids its all about give and take
This was probably done ages ago. What needed was watching someone help her make decisions on what to keep and what to pitch and how to pitch it, charity, trash…
I have a sign on front door..."This house is protected by a coat of dust"... I'm in rural Aust with the last the topsoil ploughed constantly & flying away...
The title “lazy mum” is so rude. “Depressed” mom or mom suffering from poor mental health would be more accurate.
Millions of depressed people they keep their place decent though. So you think that there are no more lazy people? She is definitely lazy and this is a place no child should live.
Agree. The way that the hoarders are belittled and have defamatory insults pointed at them are disgusting.
@@shiralleehaggart72the cleaners are equally belittled
Sometimes laziness is what is at play
@@aneleh78 I don't think so judging by the way that they talk to the hoarders like children. May an adult to adult talk from cleaner to the hoarder would be better instead.
Sign in my kitchen reads, A CLEAN HOUSE IS A SIGN OF A WASTED LIFE !!!!😂
God bless you.. giving help to this overwhelmed mom
Was outstanding ❤
She’s not lazy !!!!!!!! Come on. Maybe she have real issues. Don’t judge people who you don’t know.
of course she's lazy. but not too lazy to shop continually.
Yeah Jo’s car did not break down
This couple just wanted someone to clean their house, and not participate. Not much of teaching how to keep, donate, rubbish. This couple will go back to the way they were, as the couple still have not done a thing in their own room.
Got to love the way that people belittle others. Perhaps they didn't go back to square one.
@@shiralleehaggart72 This was nothing of the sort.
@@cinderblock2289 Do you know this couple personally then?
@@shiralleehaggart72 I just might‼️
My mother had 4 children and our house was always lovely. And clean. Partly because we were disciplined , children and We did not make Unnecessary Mess. We played happily indoors in the winter and outdoors in the summer. Unfortunately these days, children are allowed to make a mess. And the parents clean it up. Stupidity.
Her house looked incredible at the end. I thought that they did a fantastic job by working together. 😊❤
I don't want anything in my home just for 'show'. But I don't want a mess either. And 8 bottles of bleach?
Over clean can equal chaotic childhood.
Hoarding can equal loss.
If they could come together and support each other with the leg that’s not broken they could both learn to walk.
Finally someone who is not single
Lol you are not allowed to lean on the cushions 😅
my mom used to go nuts if I sat on my bedspread. wallerin' the bed... couldn't put feet up on couch or coffee table... I don't know why we had a living room
This kind of dirty home always is a home with to much things in it. It is hoarding and buying and then you cannot clean the spaces, get depressed and to get better, buy a new thing.
A few years ago I would have said throw everything away. But now everything is so expensive, try to find out what you need and what is worthless. Take care of the worthy things and if you want to buy, be aware it will clutter your house and not make you happy. I write just what I think and I must not be right at all.
I got so excited but then realized its a re-upload😢
Do U know how to do "where r they now" searches?!.....
@@PortraitoftheArtistasanOldDog8 ? That's not the point, I was excited for a new upload. Do you know how to read?!.......
"excited ABOUT" surely...not FOR Yes thanks I have an MA In English merely not familiar with how to search FB etc @@TwinBleaks
Why are all these homes so fugly on the inside? The mix of colors and patterns is just dreadful and the use of wallpaper for a "pop" are always just way off and bizarre.
These programmes were filmed years before the 'grey plague' started. Also the mum of the two boys had a lovely looking home when everything was done.
@@shiralleehaggart72grey plague😂 In my country it’s ‘japandi’ a.k.a. sad beige.
this is incredibly sad what she is doing to her daughter ..see no humor in that poor little girl developing OCD like her mother
I think the anxious keeping things is a stress response. Feels safe and helps you hide from other feelings
But then ends up making things worse
I grew up in a home with show towels, show this, show that, and a "show" room used once in the 15 years. It was miserable!! I feel for the child in that "show home."
ETA: The cleaner is insufferable, judgemental, and not equipped to kindly help others.
These women are two extremes - happy medium 😊
Mum is a hoarder, dad is a big baby. It can't work.
Poor children, they’ve got a house not a home.
The expert has a couch no one is allowed to sit on and has trouble concentrating if anyone sits on it? OMG
While my place may not be sparkling clean, wow to the mess in Wales. - 4 people who don't do anything??? Jo and Clive are
not doing a favour to those kids while bringing them up without order and systems to cope with life.
BUT Zara doesn't realize they don't have enough space to have 'show' stuff.
8:31 she on the boys bed with sandals but has OCD?
Yes she was but her feet were on a black bin bag
Everyone's different, there's not a book of one set of OCD rules that everyone follows, people can and do have conflicting rules and their rules don't necessarily apply the same way to every situation or place.
Awr the big brother looked disappointed it wasn't his room that was done .
That poor little girl at the start, reading these insane rules with the OCD/controlling mom looking on smiling.
Bro nah the ones that dont even use whole rooms and just have them like an IKEA showroom ,.... No words... Some are making life really just weird , I wonder if it pops in their mind once they take their last breath one day, was it really that fulfilling or meaningful to experience life in such a way ?
1:17 Mom could spend some of the time she wastes cleaning the same area multiple times a day helping her eight year old spell correctly. I have a child the same age, and "evry fink hast" is pretty bad spelling at that age. Nothing against the child. Mom clearly doesn't have her priorities in order though.
They are just going to bring the stuff in the garden back in the house.
There are "4" people in the home. They can all clean, and mum needs to get help with her hoarding, that us the biggest problem. Stop shopping.
Time isn't found, it is made.
I wish i wasnt so shit at life 😅 constantly overwhelmed then i procrastinate... its terrible
That poor kid lost all his ninjago stickers, he probably collected fir some time
I remembered my mum, when she visits someone, after 2 hours of chitchat , she would look for the brook and start cleaning of she find the place she’s visiting a mess.. must be embarrassing but thinks she has obsession
That poor child!!! She will probably rebelling and go the opposite way! And be lazy about cleaning.
If they hadn't sent someone neurotic in to "help" she would have easily got to all 4 rooms. But wasting time taking stickers off a wall when everything else was more important is why the other room was missed.
When my children were in bed I used to clean up, ready to start again the next day. Some of us are house proud and some of us like to live in shite
I clean thru out the day.
I’d like a show where a hoarder helps a minimalist. Surely there are kids wishing their mom or dad wasn’t tossing everything.
I felt very sorry for Jo… there’s a reason for hoarding and not cleaning. But I think Zhara did her best… she also has issues, but she improved Jo’s home. Not sure if it will last…?
First Lady is obsessive compulsive. 😳🙄🤪 8 gallons of bleach per week??? Did I hear that right?? You might as well move into a museum. That’s not living. I agree with keeping things clean and organized but….that is going overboard. YIKES
Totally crazy!!!
Can she come clean my house once a week!! 😂
Facts!!
It's necessary to get rid of most of the stuff
No love you’re not fine, you need help as you’re ocd has now been passed onto your daughter. Please get help! Before this continues onto generations!!
Awww that was a heart-warming episode
0.42 O.C.D ? Two months later the place will be as bad as ever, even O.C.D can't cure that. Most people who are physically fit would be thoroughly ashamed to have a complete stranger cleaning their house for them, while the husband stands there singing "There stands the wife the idle of my life" (circa 1944).
Keep trying everyday a new one don’t get discouraged and have fun!❤
Sarah needs therapy, not to lecture others ... to vacuum your house 4 times a day - that is not healthy behaviour. To have cushions and towels that are not there for usage ... that is not healthy behaviour. She does not want to live in squalor, fair enough. but it seems she does not want to live at all.
This is crazy putting an obsessive cleaner with someone who doesn't clean at all. Both of them need professional counselors to sort out why they are the way they are about cleaning and to find solutions to their respective psychological cleaning hangups.
Sounds like exhausted mum
They should have paid Zara heavily for that dustbin job.
