- Опубліковано 21 чер 2023
- Here is a short demo showcasing the firmware update v. 1.26 with way snappier VCA and VCF envelopes. There are a lot of other improvements and fixes. Please check the version history.
Enjoy the music!
Bernd
Improvements:
- Enhanced and “snappier” envelope speed
- Implemented a Soft Thru On/Off setting, accessible through the Settings Menu Button 1. This allows users to control the Soft Thru functionality, enabling or disabling as needed.
- Added a Local On/Off setting to the Settings Menu Button 1. This feature enables users to determine whether the device responds to local MIDI input or not.
Fixes:
- Fixed issue with failure to recognize VR maximum position during power up.
- Resolved USB/MIDI synchronization issue, PPQN (Pulses Per Quarter Note) is set to 24.
- Addressed problem with notes getting stuck during envelope (ENV) shape changes.
The "Pro 800" was a beautifull sinth, now after this firm update is an astonishing sinth
Dude, that's awesome!
B got onto that pretty quick!
They hear us 😊
@@Bernd_Bruening They DO !
Wow; they did that so fast!
Sounds awesome.. can't wait to mess around with the pro 800. It was supposed to be delivered today, but UPS is messing up and makes me wait one more day :P
You will have a lot of fun with this great synth. With the new update really a lot of things have been improved.
Got mine yesterday. It's worth the wait, I promise. Won't be an arrangement without it, from now on.
Same for me! UPS delayed the delivery by one day. I think the envelope improvement will make it a more polyvalent instrument.
Absolutely. Enjoy your new synth!
If you think UPS is messing with you now, just wait until it arrives in pieces.
Wow! Those snappier envelopes are a really great sounding improvement. And you did a good job presenting them. 🙂

Thank you, Matthias!
@@Bernd_Bruening Keine Ursache.
How do i access the new envelopes?
How to change envelope speeds after installing updates?
Schon viel besser! 👍
Finde ich auch. BTW tolles Pro-800 Video. Ich müsste mal auf ein Gläschen Wein in Berlin vorbeischauen.
@@Bernd_Bruening Das solltest Du unbedingt mal tun!
I JUST saw your Pro-800 video - good stuff,-
Quick response from Behringer! Is there any good VST/AU editor/librarian yet? All parameters are midi cc controllable right?
All parameters are midi cc controlled. All controller send midi cc as well
@@Bernd_Bruening nice! any editor that runs in a DAW yet?
@@dharmaone77 not yet. It would be nice to have an editor with librarian functionality, maybe even as a part of the music tribe app, who nows.
So with the envelopes the previous FAST settings have been overwritten with the new FAST settings?
Yes, I think so.
I'm missing a next/previous preset button. Am I too blind, or is it really not there?
Haven’t updated to the latest firmware yet, but afaik it allows to change presets via encoder knob.
great news! synth king what is the latest on the ubxa? Is it ready?
my guess is it will go out for Christmas but who knows when it comes to behringer I'm waiting for the cs-80 clone and the synthi and I'll be set already have a 2600 grey meanie and a poly D along with a pro 800 I'm waiting on I've put off a poly synth buy since 2020 waiting for this the extra cut in cost made 100% worth the wait I've got pedal steel guitars and drums and every other instrument you can think of to keep me busy just waiting to create my own genre here in the coming months electronic prog folk grass/ world music my love of ethnic instruments from around the world mixed with a fripp like guitar style along with a classical Segovia fan it really helped fill out my chops and has made understanding and creating and writing songs so much easier it's all in the mind
I been wating also might as well get the oberheim desktop
Is this just filter envelope or is the amp envelope different too?
Both
You need a mac with M1-chip for updates, right? With the windows-version of synthtribe you always get a "cloud maintenance"-message, see Internet. Does anybody know a workaround?
I updated yesterday with an intel Mac running Monterey OS. No problems at all. I used the Synthtribe app v 2.6.1
@@johanbejerholm How did you do that? I tried with an Intel Mac with the latest OS and it refused to install. Quote from the Apple Store: "Mac: Requires macOS 11.0 or later and a Mac with Apple M1 chip or later. "
At least it worked with another computer.
Not working with Dell Optiplex 9020sff.
Working with Lenovo IdeaPad 330s.
Nice job! without looking it up, wonder if the envelopes are software or hardware
The envelopes are software, same as the GliGli modded P-600
@@Bernd_Bruening And, of course, the original Prophet 600.
Software envelopes were one of the issues with the original as the processor (Z80?) was not really powerful enough to do all that it was being asked of, naturally the GliGli upgrade and the Behringer P800 have much faster processors so software envelopes are fine.
Absolutely!
Yeah, on Gearspace someone noted that the STM32 arm processor can do lots beyond what Gligli could. It's a 32bit RISC running at 180MHz with an FPU, while Gligli ran on a Teensy++ which uses an 8bit controller at 16MHz, and no FPU.
@@MeesterAntrobus : LOTS OF POTENTIAL FOR UPGRADES!
I need help i cant update i have synttribe how can i update my pro800
Start the Pro 800, connect it via usb to your computer (direct, no usb hub in between), start synthribe app, which should recognise your Pro 800, click proceed, then click „update“ The app should recognise if your device has got an old firmware. Sometimes the update doesn’t work at the first time. Just do it a second time and your fine.
where to download firmware and installer?
thanks in advance
Music tribe homepage
Make sure its version 2.6.8 as .7 doesn't see the pro 800 via USB this is a problem i recently discovered .
Waiting for a Pro 800 / Prophet 5 AB test !!!
It is not "snappy" it is just pot range. I am sure when attack is at 0 both modes have same slew rate (rise time).
It is snappy and the slew rates are different with each envelope setting.
I still hear at least 2-3ms attack time, so, no it's far from being snappy.
Ok, for you it's not snappy, for me it is snappy.

First!
Congratulations!
Man it is going to be funny when A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) is writing and producing this simpleton/sampled/idiotic music people "make" today with nothing but samples.
I found the replicant
