- You don't necessarily need to do all of these before every workout. You can just isolate the body part you're about to work but I feel like it's a good habit to get into.

I do all these on a regular basis. At 42, this type of training is non-negotiable. I feel so much better when I’m keeping up with my mobility. Thanks Patty!
major respect 🙌💪
I started back up earlier this year. I'm 40 next year ... and can say after having genuinely neglected my self PT post-FVFG 20 years removed... this is absolutely non-negotiable.
Encouraged seeing others in my age range acknowledge the importance of mobility.
Might help you to look i to a BPC 157 or something similar
Same. At 29, going to Ashtanga yoga and doing a routine regularly helps a lot
Just piling on with the others here at 40+. I’ve been pretty active my whole life but I’ve been neglecting my mobility up until recently. It is THE difference between feeling young and strong vs creaky and sick.
Wish I had started this type of training when I was younger
Did this routine for 6 months every day after waking up. At the begining I couldn't do cossack squats and deep lounges without support. Now I can. I am 50 y.o. It somehow really helped to stay consistent how LBP presents the exercise.
Consistency accomplishes everything. You can learn a language, a subject, how to paint, how to sing, and most easily learn to be in shape and all of them only take a little consistency and discipline. The catch is only a quarter of the population has those two traits.
I am so happy for you!
great job!
Wow that's inspiring
@@jonapp1199and you, did you?
Did this after finally recovering from non-epileptic seizure condition!! 9 months of mostly being immobile in bed and great muscle weakness. My legs were literally buckling after trying it, but to me it is now the the best feeling ever because I’m able to move freely again. Thank you for including variation and being so thoughtful of people’s differences in capabilities!❤❤❤
@@joelcowan2568 shout Scorpio rise?
same! 3 months of basically being bedbound & ill all the time bc of non-epileptic seizures has left me feeling so stiff and weak. in a way, though, it's given me new motivation to appreciate & take care of my body now i'm seizure free. best of luck to you!!
I think this is the best format of follow along workout video that I've ever seen! I really don't like the upbeat music from other videos, loud bells and people unnaturally trying to motivate me. And there's even some chill low music at the end. 10/10!
haven’t worked out in at least four months. tried this. my legs won’t stop shaking. thank you patty
You came?
@@Polemicist_ WHAT

20:43 - surprise pffft
Thank you! I turned 41 this year and I feel like my body is trying to shrivel up into a rigid little ball of death, so this is very helpful.
"rigid little ball of death".....extreme 😂 but yes, flexibility for the win!
Saaaame! (38 though)
this made me cackle lol i'm 25 and i feel that way. curfew joint is real
This is how all fitness influencers should handle the gym. No one in the background, not taking up too much space, not trying to start drama for clout. Just legit trying to help. You're a legend Patty.
As someone who's strained her rotator cuff and has been out of the gym, as well as having gave up my routine due to depression, this is something i needed. Thank you.
That one is so fucking annoying, but you absolutly can fix it whit patience, stay well.
True true, happen to me too. I know I can work on other part but I'm too depressed to do that
Rotator cuff injuries suck! I damaged mine years ago and still have issues so I work around it. I do various curls and triceo extensions, rows and lat pull down but steer clear of any type of overhead press or chest fly
@@Frozki you can do it! Rebuild it steadily at a slow pace until you can't do it without effort. I believe you can
Are you actually me?
I love this girl so much, she's just natural and sincere. Nice video Patty.
💕🙏🙏
I agree, really refreshing to see somebody so natural in the age of plastic and bs!

@@Luziagz she's admitted to using steroids in the past unless you're referring to her personality
These are fantastic as a baseline for building a stretch routine, something we should all learn from a young age. However, it's never too late to start. I feel so much limber after the exercises, particularly on my shoulders!
I’m in my 30’s and I’ve been in and out of the fitness industry (gymnastics coach, boxer, personal trainer) since my early teens, and your channel has been my go to resource and inspiration for my workouts. Concise, funny/goofy, and excellent form and exercise choices. Keep on doing what you’re doing! And thanks for the vulnerable shares about how you got here.

Best comment 😂
That’s gotta be the best compliment sheesh
Some of these movements I already do and they are really good. You have no idea how it helps to perform the movements following an instructor, just like you edited in that 10min AB w.o. And I felt that the videos are looking more professional without losing your identity, congrats!
🙏🙏
Ive been doing this routine before my workouts for the last few weeks and really notice the difference. I feel so ready for squats after these moves. Thanks!
This is my new favorite everyday routine. I just tried it and love how you walked through everything. You're much more fun to watch/learn from than 99% of the people I have found on here. Please keep it up. Any videos on specific "leg day" / "upper body day" warmups?
Honestly, we're so lucky for the internet and for people like you demonstrating this stuff; what a time to be alive.
And then those sound effects are just hilarious - they get me everytime. I love it
I didn't realize how much stiff and less flexible my body had gotten until I tried some of these. Thanks! 🥰
Same bruh its so disappointing
I dont feel anything while stretching, no relief, no pressure, just feels like a waste of time.
@@AlphaQHard really? Nothing at all? Good for you, I guess 👍
Preach.
lmao the subtle fart at 2:34 is so subtle yet so intricately placed. There's so much layers of complexity in Pattys videos.
This channel is a godsend honestly, you’ve helped improve my workouts so much not only as a beginner but even now where I work on my body a lot, have lost weight and am trying to gain muscle
Merry Christmas, Patty

HO HO HO
I appreciate these mobility movements. A main reason I don’t warm up or stretch before work outs is because there are plenty of how to do exercises, and routines, but nothing on warming up or stretching
I haven't properly had a work out in years, I've tried so much but nothing felt right. I wanted to work out every part of my body, not only that get my mobility back. I literally have the body of someone 10 years my age and I shouldn't.
This stretching exercise felt so good despite it being pretty difficult. I love it! Thank you so much for encouraging me to start taking care if myself again!
I have checked many beginner yoga videos, daily stretching exercises etc. But they didn't get me started. İ see this video was the one I was searching for. Your style helped me to imagine myself doing workouts 😬 thank you 🙌🏾
Youd make a great yoga instructor honestly, theres so many different styles of “yoga”, id definitely sign up for a patty led, mobility yoga sesh
I love how simple you make everything seem! many people get overwhelmed with technicality they give up altogether.
Started marathon training couple weeks ago on top of my regular callisthenics training. Week 5 in now, struggle a lot with joint pain in my legs. Your video helps a lot, cheers!
I have searched for a proper stretching/mobility routine for a while and this seems like the real deal, gonna try this out and will probably post some update in a month or two.
Thank you LeanBeefPatty 🙏
I haven't worked out in a couple of years now, but I think I will start just doing these on a regular basis and then jump into working out.
Thank you Patty, you're such a great person, I love you're always trying to make everyone watching your videos feel comfortable. You're an example and inspiration to me and I'm sure to many others as well. I hope you continue to make more videos for all of us. Thank you once more
Finally getting back into taking care of my physical health since the pandemic! This looks like a perfect way to start. Thank you Patty 💚
this was literally amazing!!! it's been a long time since Ive been active and even this was a workout! i cant wait to keep practicing these and see how much better my mobility gets, thanks for this video!!
I really love doing these stretches, some of them are really helpful before squats and leg days in general!👍
can I do this before my workout?
@@apdardillaspordoquier1324 These are good to do before working out! For general rule:
Before working out = stretches where you move around a lot
After working out = stretches where you sit and hold
@@WalkInMyPawsteps good advice thanks
@@WalkInMyPawsteps oh okay, this is very interesting to know, thank ya :D
I love how you still use your signature sound edits for routines LMAO. I take 0-2 walks a day and have been doing this routine as my workout for 3 weeks. I love how encouraging you are throughout and the relaxed pace. no intense alarms or countdowns, and the small breaks in between to catch my breath. I am trying not to have 0-100 mindset of either obsessively working out or do nothing at all. I used to be in the gym 2 hrs a day after 8-10 hrs of work. My body hated me and I hated it :( Thats why i find myself coming back to this video. Super relaxed yet motivating to do what my body wants/needs that day. I didn't think this would be my favorite video bc I love your sit down ones but I'm a big fan now of instructor patty!! :)
I've been dealing with knee pains from old injuries and never have i ever been instructed to do these kinds of exercises. I believe this series of exercises will be very helpful for me. Thanks for sharing and explaining a bit more in depth of how its done and where you should feel it
watching your personality evolve over the course of binge watching your content is craaazzzyyy 😂❤
Mannnnnn so glad you posted this! I was going to request it but didn’t lol. Like some else said, getting older the mobility starts to disappear…especially if you played a contact sport in college and/or professionally. Thank you sooooo much 🙏

Thanks for making the gym fun and not scary anymore. After watching this and a couple of your other vids I understand what I’m doing 10x better
Thank you for making these. You're inspirational, kind, and easy to follow along with. I haven't worked out in a few months and after this routine I feel good enough to try again. So thanks :)
Yaaaas I have been wanting a mobility routine for forever but I’ve been so lazy to look it up, this is so clutch 🙌🏻 thank you bae
here we go, thank you very much Patty, take care of yourself keep it up and never stop, what you are doing is incredible, you are my example! ❤️
thank you very much 🙏 take care as well!
I am SO happy I found you. Found you by accident but I SO needed this. I've been practicing yoga for years, but this feels like an overall fluid mobility routine for my entire body. I feel amazing after this routine! I plan to do this every morning because it feels SO DAMN GOOD! Thank you for sharing and I absolutely love your vibe.
Your mobility is insane! Lately I haven’t really been feeling connected to my body, I think just my normal training at the gym isn’t fully fitting for my body, so I’m gonna give this a try. Thanks for your routine:3
The depth you get with the cat/cow is unreal, this is the best video youve ever put out in my opinion, this is great!!
I'll have to try these! Mobility is something I'm lacking in my weekly schedule. I go 3x a week to the gym doing full body Calisthenics. I should probably start doing these on my non-workout days. Thanks for the video again LBP!
💪💪💪🙏
As someone who has suffered from hip flexor pain, this has helped a lot. Also, my athletic performance has imporved dramatically after doing this as a habit.
Thank you for the inspiration. You've got a great humor! And I was totally fine with your speed, never change that! It's frustrating to see videos with some new movements in it and the one showing it is too fast. Plus its great too, to make it slow, it feels so intentional!
this really helped A LOT, didn't know how sore my lats and hamstrings were til I did some of these stretches lol def doing this mobility routine from now on
I was JUST thinking how I would like to work on a routine myself! Thank you
Been needing a mobility routine after a spinal injury and this one went great for me! So glad Danny Brown named a song after you so I know about your stuff
I love these stretches and how accessible you've made them to people! One pointer if you're open to it, but instead of child's pose, your posture is more of a puppy pose! How fun! Puppy pose generally keeps the hips stacked over the knees like you've done here, whereas child's pose, traditionally for rest, has the hips sinking back onto the heels so the hips can open and relax. Love your work again! And it's just terminology - doesn't change how the moves are helping your body, I just thought it might be helpful for the aspiring yogis in the comments haha
what a beautiful comment
Love how you're motivated enough to do mobility, while I'm barely doing my workout, nice video Patty!
🙏🙏 baby steps💪
the workout isnt hard to follow, stretching tho is much painful, tell your kids to keep stretching all their god damn LIFE
wow, normally I can't touch my toes with straight legs, but doing the squat mobility allowed me to do it very easily. I love the whole routine
thank you sooo much I’m looking for mobility exercises because lately I’ve been feeling like my body aches I hope it’s gonna help me make my body more relaxed!!
i keep coming back to this vid, it's so useful for all those aches and gain pains. Thank you Patty!
Awesome vid Patty! I'll def be adding this to my toolbox. Some days you can't or just don't have time to do a full workout. Something like this is easy to do in the living room and you still feel like you got your body moving.
💪👍
I do these every day! My cossack squat isn't low enough but I caught up with the other exercices, thank you you lovable mush of lean beef.
Thank you! I've been looking to add mobility routines to my excercises and didn't know where to start. These are great!
Loving LeanBeefPatty's mobility routine. Introduced it to my bestie yesterday and we did these together. I feel amazing when I do these mobility exercises daily! Thank you Patty!!!!
Done this routine twice and already have felt more flexible will definitely make it a regular routine. Thank you
Amazing routine, I've made a habit of starting every one of my workouts with this warm up. Would be amazing if some time down the line you would make another one, with different exercises, just to mix things up 😊
It's incredible to see you combining so many of my favorite mobility exercises into a great routine! Keep up the awesome work💙
Idk if it's your vibe or what, but this is now my favorite stretch routine. They also work amazing 👏
Thanks Patty !! ❤
When I discovered you, you pushed me to do musculation, thanks for your advice and everything !!

I thought that cossack squat was going to be the death of me. I figured I'd look into this sort of thing because I'm starting to creak a little and make those old man grunts when I go to tie my shoes. You're a blessing and I'm going to try to do these regularly!
that felt sooo good! i haven't gone to the gym in 5 days due to an injury and this mobility routine is all i needed to get back on track!
You made me get up at 11:30 pm to do these and I feel great
Could feel a lot of popping in my shoulders
I'll try to do these daily, even if I'm not working out.
