Honestly, I’d say recommend the Miyoo Mini Plus over the Anbernic. Better build quality, better community supported OS (Onion OS), better battery life. Comparable price at ~$55-60.
This device is just a Miyoo Mini clone, all the way down to Garlic OS being a clone of Onion OS. Get the Miyoo.

I got Plus verison a few weeks ago for Pokemon games 😎 (purchased myself too btw) only regrets are the plus version doesn't come in that sick clear purple you have. That just has OG gameboy color vibes.
Kept seeing this advertised on TikTok and thought it was a bunch of crap, but got it anyways . It was between this and the Miyoo mini and I'm so glad I did I got a great deal and it just looks so great with the retro grey color, and the nostalgia is worth it alone!

Don't buy it with the SD card included. The cards fail and the rom collection isn't great. Buy your own card and fill it up with your favorite games.

@@user-bk6uu5hu6odid you have to buy a new micro SD card? Stilll on the fence about buying a new card because of the hassle it’ll to re install all ROM’s with zero experience

Consider the RG35XX Plus or Miyoo mini plus. They got some extra features and are largely the same devices.

I also purchased this model but to anyone reading this make sure you buy the PLUS model! As they the same cost! So there is the rg35xx and then the rg35xx plus. Also they now have 2 new ones where you have the rg35xx h which is shaped like a ds with joysticks too! And now a new model of this game looking one in the rg35xx but with joysticks! Honestly I fell in love with this to the point it’s probably one of the greatest tech devices I have ever bought, I was grinning like a 10yr old like I was playing for the first time 😂 it has so many games, and was not even £80!

Ordered one since it was only $58 with free shipping. Can't wait till it arrives and revive all the games I never played in the 90's and 2000's.

Btw guys the anbernic RG405V is a option for you to pick up, since it has good emulation for N64 and DreamCast and DS

So I ask one of the kids "you know what a gameboy is" he goes "yeah that old console" 😭 I said "its not that old, like its old but not THAT old" he said "its like 14 years old" In my head I said "OH SHIT" then I google it and the gameboy advance was made in 2001 its 23 years old I said "lord have mercy" yeah we getting old gang
I have had RG35xx is great little console and got me into emulation devices, but i would recommend the RG355xx plus cost alittle bit more, but has wifi, which means reto achievements, trust me the retro achievements are awosome, plus it can play Dreamcast and N64 and some psp 😮
You can USB a controller. I bought this thing and it's been my crack for a while too. Got me out of boredom while on the train heading to work.

Can you change the button designation on the onboard emus? I fucking hate when the jump button is on the far right and shoot button is on the bottom. It should be fire on the left, and jump on the bottom
Can you buy a screen protector or would it be easier just to buy one for an iPad and chop it down?

If you don't like the gb design, you should get the Rg35xx h, horizontal version with analogs, much more comfortable, stronger and just a few dollars more I think.
I just got DS games up and running. Time to play FF Tactics A2 for the umpteen time.
Mine was good but after a year battery case is cracking when charging and keeps crashing

Get the rg35xxh it can run shenmue and sword of the berserk for dreamcast
I think I need something like this now. But as much as I loved Mario III and the Mega Man series, I really want to try and find StarFox64. I tried it, I fell in love with it, and I can't find/get it. I think StarFox ended with the N64 as I don't see it for the Wii or Switch Lite (both I have).
Yeah I don't know, I thought that the switch had it as part of that Nintendo game streaming service, but I don't remember exactly.
Does it come with Super mario bros pre-installed?
The Official Version doesn't have any Mario games (they probably didn't want to risk it.) But you won't want to use their games or SD cards either, as both are pretty sucky tbh.
It is but, Miyoo Mini Plus has better support with OnionOS over GarlicOS. Still a very good emulator.

Returned the RG35xx for Miyoo mini v4 and RG353V. Way better IMO
You should try Miyoo Mini Plus, the button is much more comfortable for me. And the custom OS community is strong.

Ха, у вас в іграх були точки збереження. А в моїй країні продавались китайсь копії оригінальних картриджів NES і звісно, що виробники для здешевшання конструкції викидав такий "непотрібний" елемент як батарейка. Так що в 90х всі діти України грали в хардкор режимі :)))

1) Miyoo Mini plus. Better OS, better controls, no HDMI out. Currently $60 on AliExpress.
2) Miyoo Mini, same as + but no bluetooth or Wifi, smaller and far more pocketable though. Also ~$65.
3) Retroid Pocket 2s (for $89) is far better quality, but a little more expensive though.
4) RG35XX Plus is only $64 and better in many ways.
5)RG35XX H is (basically) the same but in a horizontal form, so more comfortable to hold.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with pirating games made by a horrible company like Nintendo. They don’t care about you and sticking your for them doesn’t help people who enjoy gaming
Emulation is legal. Where you get the games is the grey area. But it’s also not a big deal. You would download a car if you could
Here’s the thing. Nintendo, Sega, etc. aren’t selling these games or consoles anymore since they’re so old. You aren’t hurting their bottom dollar. Now if these were Switch or PS4/5 games, and you were illegally downloading them, then yes, it’s a problem and piracy.
