I think when it's comes to bhe budget line Anbernic has done everything between the 353 & 35XX line (especially with the recent release of the 35XXSP) I think it's time they start competing higher end space now.

The only XX I've ordered is the new SP and I bloody ordered two of those bad boys lad. Great review. Totally agree. The 2XX and the SP rock this SOC. Perfect size for the pocket.

It's my favorite retro handheld of the year, and yes I own the pocket go too. It's a much better pocket go. I also own the SP, but I tend to reach for the 28XX most of the time. Planning to get the cube once I can afford it.

From what ive seen these past weeks, i'm sticking to the H as the best EDC gaming device. Even sold my Miyoo Mini Plus that was just totally ignored after the H's custom firmwares started peaking. The 35XX SP is the one im also really interested in, which could easily be the alternative to the H as the EDC gaming device. It's thicker when closed, but also less length which means it could potentially fit better in a small EDC bag/pouch depending on the rest of the loadout. The 28XX and the Miyoo A30 seems to have lost quite a bit of functionality compared to the H, MM+ and even the 35XX+, and the XX SP seems to be another XX+ meaning it could belong to the good EDC choices.
That's fair. One thing is for certain, Anbernic are making sure there is an XX for every occasion, lol!

I dont know. Anyways i would never do that. Just get yourself a Sandisk or Something.
The rg28xx comes already with a Brand SD Card for Slot 1 and the Stock OS. Then you Just Put another one into the Slot 2. Start your Handheld. Itll Install the right folder onto your Second SD Card. Put it Back into the PC. Load a Rom Set. Put it into Roms folder and thats it. To easy to pay Money for someone doing it for you

Will the 28xx card work in the 35xx I have a 35xx and I just stopped working it won't stay turned on unless it's plug3d into a charger and when I plug it in the anbernic logo comes up and that'd it it dosnt boot up I was just wondering If I put the 28xx card in the 35xx would it work?
I'm not sure, but I believe you can try with no risk.
Anbernic have images for all their devices to download to a new card on their site

All Anbernic stuff are pointless, except maybe for the new clam shell comming out a few days ago. At least for now cus all of clam shells today are pretty sh1tty.

Hey can anyone help me? The SFC/SNES emulator and roms are all stretched, full screen. I put aspect ratio to 4:3 but it does nothing. I'm using RA. Help! How do I get it to original 4:3? I can't stand playing stretched games, it's not how they were programmed.

I love it but the buttons don’t need to be that small to fit in the console. They could have fit regular buttons no problem.

Aup mate I've screwed up my rg28xx 😆 only wanted to install muos on it and all doom wads and quake games because it didn't come with any and I've messed it up big-time mate I don't suppose you know anybody who could put it right for me do you please man im an idiot 😩😂
If the online forums or Reddit can't help then I'd try getting a replacement. My cousin got his 35XX replaced after he screwed up an onion os install
I have alot of GB, GBC, and GBA roms on my drives and this would be a perfect device to play them on but I'm polarised by the options.😮
If you want pocketability 28XX is the one, if you want nostalgia and a bigger screen then RG35XXSP
This is my dream jrpg console. I always wanted to take snes, gba and ps1 jrpgs with me and play them in random places, progressing bit by bit every day. I'm very happy!
Also, this is now my yearly Crash Bandicoot trilogy playthrough system!

I absolutely adore my 28XX, I use it every day and it’s made me leave my 35XXH in the dust until an action based PS1 game really calls me. The 28XX is the first ACTUALLY pocketable handheld that doesn’t stick out like an obscure growth 😂
This is quickly becoming my most played pocket handheld, reminds me of the early days of the Miyoo Mini
I wholeheartedly agree with you about the 28xx being the most pocketable device to date. The H requires a case due to the sticks so it adds a bit thickness and the SP isn’t really all that pocketable as thick as it is. 28xx is almost unnoticeable in the pocket with the same power. I find myself playing fighting and racing game primarily on the 28xx while grabbing a beer or food with friends.

You're totally right. Pocketability matters a lot, I've sold my bigger device with sticks to buy RG28XX, I've noticed that I don't use my device a lot, because it's not pocketable
Definitely! It really makes a difference for me as a dad as I'm often busy doing stuff, so having a console I can have in my pocket at all times is huge!

for what it is, it's not limited at all! It really does do a lot for it's size. It's easy to see how it's not for everyone though.
