Whether you're looking for your first RV, your last RV, or looking to make your First RV your Last RV this little Rockwood 2509S Mini Lite might just be the travel trailer for you! Interestingly this camper seems just as popular among couples as it does families likely due to the way the bunks can easily convert over into some pretty great storage space!
The light bright decor, vaulted ceiling, and murphy bed give it a larger & more open feeling than the 26ft total towing length would normally suggest! And all those upscale features like the Solar & Inverter Package, Tank Heaters + Radiant Barrier Combo, & Goodyear Tires w/Factory TPMS for your safety and peace of mind somehow all get packed up into this dynamite little ultralite!
Coachmen makes a VERY similar model you may also prefer -- especially if you're taller and need a higher ceiling and/or longer bed!

Holy smokes ... The family and I are sitting down right now in our Jayco doing family stuff and I played this video and everyone stoped to laugh uncontrollably at that dad joke ..... Well done sir !!
😎
You know when a joke becomes a “dad joke”?
When it’s fully GROAN!
Josh you were particularly bonkers in this one… 🤣
It is past his bedtime, he has probably enjoyed an adult beverage or 2 🤣🤣🤣
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is great if you have a family, but if you just need a couple’s camper then I prefer the 2511S with the theater seating that allows one person to go to bed while the other can stay up and still sit comfortably👍
Again…YOU CRACK ME UP! I love your videos 🤣 We have a 2015 RWMini Lite 2604S with dark interior and I love everything…but with lighter interior, it would be so much brighter!!!
We boondock a lot, so I guess the gas option fridge would be better…I like the bigger bunks (we will need them soon bc our boys are growing!), but will miss the extra storage we have now with the single bunks!!
We use a full sheet set on the dinette for my daughter and she sleeps SO good, even at 4! I gotta have the air movement, so I’m grateful for the Fan! We love our roof and all the outside storage! So glad they have kept that!
Thank you so much for your hard work and humor!!
I love all the Sir Mix-a-Lot references! Glad I'm not alone in quoting that song! 🤣
I like those references
I like ‘em real thick ‘n juicy

RV Nerd's in trouble
Begging for a piece of that Azdel!
Nice. We currently have a 36ft Grans Design 5th wheel and love it. But…. We just returned from a trip to Montana, Wyoming, S. Dakota, and Idaho seeing the National Parks. We didn’t take our camper but instead flew in and rented a SUV. Driving the beast from South Carolina would have taken too much time and fuel. I was amazed at the hundreds of RVs we saw and it got us thinking that maybe we need to downsize or buy a second smaller camper. This unit would be great except we don’t want or need a bunkhouse. By the way, go to those National Parks. They left us speechless. The large snow storm they just had got us too. So beautiful.
I actually had quite a few people doing that this year. I have a big one park somewhere at a destinations, then use a little one for little weekend trips
I live in the western U.S and I'd order it with white exterior (I think the champagne makes it look dated too quickly), sport package, slide awnings, 12V fridge, double solar panels and 15K A/C. I wish that Rockwood would not standardize their windows on all their GeoPro and Mini Lite lines, so that you have the same small windows on the front sides and in the slide in a 25' Mini Lite that you have in a 19' (or smaller) Geo Pro. Also, I'd like to see metal tire flares (instead of plastic) on the Mini Lites, and the spare tire mounted on the rear exterior wall of the trailer (like on the Jay Feather Micros) because with the spare tire on the back bumper, it would interfere with a bike rack, storage rack, or most any other accessory that could be attached to the auxiliary hitch.
Hey Nerd! My wife and I want to thank you for your entertaining and informative videos. We ended up with a 2023 Rockwood 2509s! Just got it today. We have spent about 1000 hours watching you over the last 4 months!!! Thank you!!!!
Oh congratulations! Would you be willing to take a second to jump on Google and leave a review for one of our stores like my Coldwater Michigan home store if my videos were helpful along the way? It’ll cost you nothing and I would sure appreciate it
@@JoshtheRVNerd sure will!
Love the exterior color & interior color. That tall outside storage space is where I’d put my fishing poles. ❤️ the humor we 🤣🤣🤣a lot, 👍👍👍👍
This and wolf pups are the best and freedom expresses are the best thing since sliced bread
We have the Rockwood 2109S that we purchased in January of this year. We love the Rockwood quality. It made my learning experience seamless. With the phone apps for the slide, lights and awning controls, getting set up and taking down is easy. The only down side that i see, and have read on the Rockwood and Flagstaff sites is the WiFi Ranger. When you have the WiFi on, you TV antenna does not catch any off air channels. You have to turn off the WiFi ranger to catch off air TV. This is definitely not a deal breaker, in fact, as soon as the Rockwood dealer here in Louisiana gets a 2511S in stock, we are going trade in our 2109S on it. Thanks for all the helpful hints, news and reviews that you do. You helped us with our first purchase. We just had to get in the camper before we realized we wanted the theater seating instead of the jack knife sofa and we wanted the larger bathroom for the square shower. The radius shower is a bit tricky getting in and out of in the smaller bathroom. 2 things that we had to use to realize that we didn't wan them. Have a great day. Thanks again for all the helpful tips.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate feedback like this from ACTUAL owners. It's SO helpful
One of the best reviews, finally someone opens all the storage long enough to get a good view of the space. Much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful! We have PLENTY more like it!
And please let me know if you have any constructive ideas sometime as you watch more videos as well. Viewers like you have shaped this channel over years!
I liked the video just on the basis of the Sir Mix-a-lot joke. This is why I intend to buy a trailer in Michigan even though I live in Arizona. You’re a treasure, sir.
Hahaha :)
Josh, that build is just about perfect.
12V Fridge is the way to go. More capacity is great. You did the video on run time, which was 26 days. I left mine out of the barn for two weeks and forgot to turn off the fridge. It was still running fine.
Power stabilizer jacks are great. It is great not needing another tool.
I’m interested in the Sport Tire package as well. I make it up my 15 degree driveway in my short 2104S, but if I had a 25XXS it would be mandatory.
That’s good feedback on the driveway thing. Most the time when I picture moving needs a ton more flat ground but throws throws all kinds of stuff at us obviously
Nice! You are awesome, and I like the rig too. Awesome boondocking capability!
After fighting the propane frig battle, so loving the 12volt frig. Just one day, but the solar panel rocks. First night out did Harvest Hosts at a Wisconsin orchard. All was very good.
That’s awesome feedback thank you
Yeah, this was an amazing video 😆😆 I'm so glad to see the lot full of rigs Uncle Josh, it's a beautiful sight 💯
AAGGRREEEE!!!
Josh doing Josh things again:-) We just finished our inaugural trip and we ordered ours with standard outside color, darker interior, 12v fridge, manual jacks, slide topper, 15k a/c and non-sport package. With the sport package, there is not enough room between the tires to use the wheel chocks that go in between the wheels. The darker interior offers more of a color contrast as opposed to all light colors and we thought the darker front cap would work better when loaded up with bugs. We would have opted for an extra solar panel had we known about it. The fridge is AWESOME! Even with it set on medium cooling, everything gets very cold very fast. We have a Recurve R3 hitch and had to relocate the storage bracket that holds the chain and electrical plug. My only small complaint is that the wiring for the backup camera is tied into the middle marker light so you have to have the marker lights on for the camera to work which prevents you from using it as a security camera when at the campsite.
First, THANK YOU for this
Secondly - you can jump the marker lights to the hot line on the 7-way plug to power the cameras (though keep in mind that'll leave all of them on all the time which your neighbors may not appreciate)
Greetings Josh. Still catching up on old videos here. I have a 2021 Flagstaff Microlite 25BRDS and absolutely love it. My unit came with the 12-volt fridge, and I absolutely love it, especially since I don't plan on doing much boondocking. This unit gets cold very quickly. I don't think the 2021 model came with double Azdel walls, but kudos for them doing it. I have the 15K A/C and love it, as I predominantly came on the Gulf Coast in the deep south. Mine also came with the power stabilizer jacks, which I would never want to be without. If I were outfitting a new one, I'd add that second solar panel for potential boondocking and also keeping my house batteries charged.
Great looking TT. Thanks for sharing Josh👍👍
You’re just awesome
Thx so much
Hi Josh. I wanted to say I appreciate your video style. You keep the camera still on one feature and then slowly, slowly move to another feature. This gives me time to look at everything at my speed. Thank you!
Well Thankyou!! I know my videos run long but people don't seem to get motion sick when they watch them :)
Glad I watch this for the review, and not the jokes........
My husband and I are looking to buy our first RV. If I lived near you I would definitely buy from you, but we live in Florida. My husband likes the longer Coachmen Freedom Express bunkhouse with the entertainment center that reverses and the true queen bed, but I'm not sure we can tow something that big. This model looks like a better fit for our 2017 Expedition EL. We like our car and don't want to have to get anything else. I enjoy watching your channel and I learn a lot from each episode.
Ok. This might be my new favorite rv under 28’.
It’s one of the very best on the market today for the style of camper
Hands down the best intro ever. Great job.
Hahahaha
This is a perfect boondocker. With the lift package. Great floor plan. I was leaning toward a 12 v fridge but am now leaning toward two way for its boondocking capabilities. Your stay is limited by your gas capacity. (That’s usually my stay limit anyway no matter where I am.)
Best intro ever!
😉
OMG i'm dyin' - my girlfriends and I share dumb jokes all the time - and they are not RV'ers - but I am sharing this video for your intro while I trailer shop. I literally laughed out loud in my living room not quite expecting that. RV Nerd.. #GOAT !! (Now I'll actually watch the vid)

@@Rickmarino215 whip crack
I have a 2 year old Mini Lite. It's been out about 15 times. Here are the issues I've had with it:
1. China bomb tire blew. Damage was about $5000 although insurance covered most. At least new ones have Goodyear tires.
2. Power tongue jack only works going up now. Has to be lowered manually.
3. Trailer brakes started pulling to one side and lock up sometimes. Tech said stop using until he can look at it.
4. Welds for aluminum frame under dinette failed. Not real serious but annoying
5. Windshield cracked most likely from stress fracture as there is no evidence of it being hit
6. Other odds and ends, mostly stuff I fixed myself that are probably typical for all TT's.
My preferred build- Gas/Electric fridge, an extra solar panel, white exterior, light interior, gray tones, slide out cover, off road tires, dog bowls, dog kennel option under the bunks, capability for tv to be seen if sitting in the bunks and a larger or tankless water heater. All trailers need to have more hot water! lol
Has everything we need very much impressed with the layout. Outdoor kitchen a must. Two boys plus dog, yeah. Don’t care for the wood finish but surely there are options for that.
Yeah rack would still give zero would tone options. Here’s a video that shows them both m.ua-cam.com/video/UsoQ8YEFgVQ/v-deo.html
The buns joke 🔥 convince Rockwood to add a cargo door in the tip up bunk space for bikes, kayaks, gear and it’s a home run. Come on Rockwood, do Rockwood things!!
With the ladder there I'm not sure that's possible on this one but otherwise.. yeah. Love the idea. And bathroom stuff might block ladder on the other side.
That's the only "drawback" with Rockwood -- they do SO MUCH that sometimes they actually get in their own way
Just bought his exact model a few months ago. Mine is spec'd similar. Except I dont have the power stabilizers and do have the extra vent over the murphy bed. That vent makes a huge difference. Wasn't a fan of the power stabilizers as the ones I tried didnt seem to stabilize the camper as well and the manual crank downs. The solar package with gas/electric fridge is a great combo.
I will add that it was great dealing with your sales department but we happen to find a cancelled order on the lot at another dealer.
Ty for the opportunity and congrats on the great camper. Hope she treats you well
Really dig this camper. Definitely go with 12v, big solar, white paint, and sport tires. I think, for me, the FE would be my choice between the 2 but man that's a hard choice
Oh man I totally agree. We’re Rockwood in freedom express butt heads of one another it really comes down to just the finest of details and often little vary by personal preference more than anything
That was a hella funny opener!!
Yeah.. funny cause it’s TRUE lol
Oh man the comments I will not make, but wish I could. How come hot dogs have 16 in a pack and buns are 12 in a pack? Nice rig I can see why they do well. Be safe.
"And I say to myself, I need exact change."
If you get that, you win the internet.
Nothing is free in this world 🌎
Needs a rear cargo door for loading kayaks or bikes.
I really like this one. Two way fridge with solar.
I don't like the tub, I really need a walk in shower, and I personally don't need the bunks, I'd use the for storage basically. I like the light outside color with the darker interior, my last camper had blue carpet, blue floral curtains, and blue and white upholstery. Got soo dirty so fast. So for me darker upholstery, cabinetry, will at least hide fingerprints and sludge marks from dirty grandkids pants, until I can get it back home to be cleaned properly! That's one reason I like the bigger trailers with a second door into the bathroom so dirty grandkids and stinky fishing pants and socks can be dumped off in the bathroom without messing up the entire camper, or the half bath with a single door right across from that door same reason! But what we did (our outdoor shower was on the back of the camper), was set up a shower/outdoor Porta potty tent with a bamboo mat drop off dirty clothes wrap up in beach towels then come inside, I always put down a 8x12 fake grass mat under the stairs so shoes/feet were cleaner when they came inside! Mom is on vacation like everybody else so the less work the better! Took 1 1/2 days to completely set up camp and 2 days to take it back down! Why we camped for 3 weeks! I needed those extra days to set up and break down! I like the dual axels and battery box, the covered propane tanks, the dual propane cooker hookers, the outdoor griddle and camp stove all the outdoor mounts. The no heater vents in the floor. Love the Murphy bed and recliner/loveseat hybred. The oven the storage space And 2 pantrys. Fluffy friendly bathroom. Free standing dinette table. Heated/enclosed underbelly. Stable steps and power stablizers. So much to love! It'd be perfect without the tub!
I wish we had that unit when I was kid/young teen, but back in the 1800's we had horse drawn wagons. Good to see inventory ticking up, better for all of us to have more choice and more competition.
[starts googling actual time travel...]
I have a layout change idea. How about changing the bunk bed area into a office /workstation space? That would be golden for me and I bet for many others as well according to the comments.
Lot of others asking for similar. In time I think the industry will adapt but current build demands have prevented it thus far
Pairing hot dogs and Dos Equis? This must be the Gourmet Magazine UA-cam channel! Well done.
Follow me for more recipes
I have the manual stabilizers. Will very soon order the socket for my cordless drill. Crank, crank, crank, if done manually.
Yes!!
I love that. Reminds me of my ibex 20bhs. It's like upgraded version
Jayco actually made this layout first but it was rockwood who made it a star. Everybody and their brother is trying to recapture the magic on this one
There are several very good alternatives certainly. Coachmen actually does a good one too here m.ua-cam.com/video/cu7mKu2RtrE/v-deo.html
Fantastic opening monolog! "Shopertainment Deluxe". Thanks for the laugh, Sir.
It's the whip crack that gets me every time
I own a 2021 2509s.....perfect for family of 4! Wouldnt recommend for retirees though due to bed being a little tricky to put up and down.
I am a 78 year old retiree and have no problem lifting the Murphy bed in our 2019 2507S. There are retirees and then there are retirees! Going down is easy as the struts help to hold it up. Going up is a bit heavier but still very manageable for a retiree of moderate fitness. This is our second Murphy bed RV.
@@billandmarilyngoedegebuure334 lifting and lowering is no problem, its having to climb on the sofa to lock/unlock the bed that is troublesome .....as well as not being able to reach into the hanging wardrobes on either side of the bed.
@@yeahthatshouldwork Agreed but for that reason I drilled the holes in the lock plates a bit larger. The hanging ward robes are useless for hanging anything as they are not tall enough. Noticed that the 2022 goes down to the nightstand surface. Should be a lot better.
Sweating someone out...that's my Phil.
really like this camper and is one of the ones I'm considering, when you asked about options we'd do, I'd use the 12v fridge, 15k AC, 2nd solar panel, goodyears (so I think the regular tire package, if I recall the bigger tires are westlakes), I think dark wood, but on the smaller camper light might be better, 2nd MaxxAir, rear camera, white exterior (depending on cost difference)... and preferably a lithium battery, softstart AC, and better inverter.
I also noticed in this video you mentioned double azdel, what is the difference between that and single azdel? is that double-thickness inside and out or does that just mean the innards are sandwiched between two azdel panels?
Azdel used in the inside and outside layers of the walls instead of outside only
What can you say? Typical Rockwood superior quality! Love it! For the "Off The Grid"minded folks (I'm one) I would still do the 12V fridge, at minimum add the factory additional solar panel, add two 100 amp hr lithiums. They charge 5X faster, can be taken down to 0 percent charge. Lithium prices have dropped big time. Will Prowse gives full approval to SOK brand lithiums....same quality if not better than the familiar blue & white lithium batteries for HALF the price. Plus: they're over 200 amp hr batteries at only 50 Lbs. For several cloudy or rainy days a little 2000 Watt Inverter/Gen would have the batteries charged back to 100% in no time.
I really like the two camp stove/griddle combo. Being spread out like that two cooks can cook at the same time w/out being in each others way. Love that they actually have a working size oven. Between the two outside cooking surfaces, 3 burner stove with oven....this is a cooking machine! Your customer ordered the colors I like best. Good looking, solid built camper! Love Rockwood!
Hey.. you said it :)
we need a good 3 way fridge with the 12v compressor. in the current market id stick with the 2 way fridge. 120v/propane.
So far, (second season) loving the power stabilizers on our 2205s.
Ty for the feedback
I would order it like the one shown but add a 2nd solar panel. I like this model but wish they could have had overhead cabinets in the kitchen. And still have the TV toward the couch with a swivel arm to swing out for the dinette.
One of the videos we have been waiting for. We wanted to see what Rockwood and Freedom Express changes for 2023 as we haven’t been able to choose. The Rockwood pulled ahead getting rid of the carpet, I just wish it had a sink in the outdoor kitchen vs the sprayer.
Yeah seems like more and more brands are removing camp kitchen sinks -- a trend I don't really like
I love that rig. Will be my next purchase for sure. I just wish the controls were higher. #curiouskids 😆
Cant go wrong. We have the 2018 version and it’s a keeper. Our next camper will be the same one. You get so much room along with so much outside accessible storage. The upgrades are amazing and so much comes standard now. One thing that charged was weight went from 5300 dry weight to 5600 which isn’t that much with how much was added to unit in upgrades. You’ll love this unit.
Okay I am late to the party but here goes anyway! Love this unit and likely will have one in the next little while. As for fridges... I think 6 of one 1/2 dozen the other. Some still want the propane option some not. I like that the dc fridge is bigger but not sure it is worth the cost of the upgrades. Stabilizer jacks....manual please. Tongue jack though power for sure. Lighter outside AND inside for color to keep cool and makes interior feel bigger. Like the accessory hitch but that spare tire is then in the way for some applications. I think both the outdoor stove AND griddle may be overkill (one too many things to haul around). That said everyone camps differently and even in my 20 years of it (am on my 4th RV) it changes over time. Love the Rockwood quality and cost point though!
Never too late. TY!
I like the intro...deal wid it!
Lol
Will Rockwood ever add the thermostat to the app? Seems like a logical feature.
I would love to see a Rockwood in the darker shade if possible I really love this one it's a complete package

How long is it. Tip to Tip?
If and when I purchase... this will be the one. what's holding me back right now? where do I store a 26ft RV with my dang HOA. My Build, like this one but, darker colors, two solar panels.
I noticed the larger front baggage doors. Pretty sweet.
Edit: 16:30
I notice the baggage door may not stay open if the window is open. Interested in seeing how that works.
You are correct. We just completed our inaugural trip in our 2509s and there are two windows that need to be closed while the compartment below is open--driver side front pass thru and outside kitchen door.
@@hfd413 are the larger doors nice? Although, you probably don't have the old ones, like mine, to compare to.
@@aguyandhiscomputer The pass thru doors are a good size but any problem that occurs is with the offset between the doors and the actual pass thru. I don't have any experience with the previous design but just seeing pics they do look alot smaller.

I’ve been thinking of this one for a long time Josh it’s too bad that that upper bunk would not articulate up as well that way big tall guys like you and I could have full access to that for Storage a big bicycle may be some sort of a side-by-side canoe things of that nature
Man I have been suggesting that moving upper bunk to builders like crazy. SOMEONE has to do it eventually
Hi Josh, good to see you (in passing) the other day. Loving my new 2205S. Now on the second night out. Only complaint is too much light!
Do you mean the interior lights are too bright? I turn off at least 5 of them because depending on the time of day 1-3 seem to be more than bright enough.
@@stevez340 Unless I missed something, the lights are either all on or all off. There are no individual light switches.
@@planetim Every light can be turned off individually. Press the the switch on the middle of each globe and they should turn off. Leave on the ones you want👍
@@stevez340 Many thanks. I had not spotted the switch. In my last trailer the switches were on the side of each light. Gracias!!!
Light interior and the white exterior because our truck is white. Definitely interested in the solar.
Great video! Call you pull down the Murphy bed with the slide in? A superb unit; would benefit from one more solar panel and a more modern colored interior. So beige!
Not on this one you cannot. Usually I try to remember to display that. Sorry I missed it this time around
Josh took a song that may not be appropriate in certain social situations and made it totally acceptable in that context. Brilliant. Regarding the Rockwood, this is my dream unit, except for the power stabilizers. There are some well done blistering reviews of that component that make it clear the manual stabilizers are a better choice. My "take it for it what it's worth" rando consumer advice for Haylett is leave that option off of your normal dealership stock orders. I would literally buy this unit today if it had manuals.
I actually don’t put the power jacks on our stock units typically
Also-what song did I mention? I can’t remember what all I say in these things
@@JoshtheRVNerd lyrics from Baby Got back by Sir Mix-A-Lot. One of the best dad jokes ever I'd say
I saw what you did there with the flappy doodle 9,000 from the first tease! Must be watching too many of your videos. Anyway, if I were to order this as a Westerner: 1) 12V fridge. 2) 2'nd solar panel. 3) 2 Battle Born 100 amp/hr batteries if the charge controller/vehicle charging would work. Conventional gel deep cycle if not. 4) Front Max Air fan with cover. 5) Sport tire package. 6) Manual stabilizing jacks. 7) Slide awning. 8) White exterior even though I prefer the look of the Champagne. 9) 15,000 BTU AC with a soft start capacitor. EDIT 10) Thermo pane windows. This build combined with a small 2KW generator could really extend no hookup camping.
As a side note. I hope Rockwood ups their off grid game a bit to at least match Keystones lower level kit. Even just going to a 2,000 watt inverter, 2 190w panels and an MPPT controller would be a good start.
Keep up the great work Josh, you're the best reviewer on UA-cam IMHO.
TY! I know they're working on something more advanced that'll likely start on Geo Pro before later expanding to other members of their lineup
Wow a late night release before bed
I am doing everything I can to try to keep up
Ahhhh! I waited for the Flappy Doodle 9000 and thought I was DENIED! Then sweet relief at the end... Well played Uncle Josh, well played. Kudos for the Bird Man and Rocky Horror reference... Now serious question, is the solar lithium friendly?
I have been advised Rockwood has changed up some hardware to make these more lithium friendly out of the box. They are also working on a new more advanced solar package specifically for the Geo pro series that will include factory lithium options, and I suspect that would later become available through the rest of their lines once proven
We've been looking for something exactly like this! Bunkhouse with a dinette slide but total length closer to 25 feet (we like to be able to fit in smaller sites). What other trailer brands/models are like this Rockwood Mini-Lite?
This is about the closest match head to head ua-cam.com/video/cu7mKu2RtrE/v-deo.html
Luv everything Rockwood does with this one until RoadMode slide-in hit. That is just too tight. I make a lot of WallyWorld / pitstops to pickup groceries on the road, and using your own bathroom is MUCH better than most gas station bathrooms.
That’s why I take the time to close them up!!
We have a 2020 Forest River Surveyor Legend 252RBLE that has about the same stats on length, weight (a few hundred pound lighter) and after three trips we upgraded the truck to a 3/4 ton. Could our half ton tow it? Sure. Was it enjoyable? No. We like the flexibility of the two-way fridge, although we do have issues with it freezing produce :/
I would imagine so but without specs on the truck there’s no way we could say for sure
You are showing your age with the Sir-Mix-Alot ref. I can sympathize, I loved that song back in the day.
Sorry but you said that in past tense 😉
@@JoshtheRVNerd Should I have said "I love that song"? Are you trying to say that my tenses were not correct thoughout my sentence? I was not an English major. I like to think that I do ok, but I will admit that my grammar is not always correct. I only scored a 35 on the English section of the ACT, but that was in 1990.
Great! Is 25 feet the TOTAL length, or just of the trailer? Looking to keep it around 27 for a lot of the National Park camping requirements. Thx :)

Was thinking about getting this with a 200 amp hour lithium battery, plus another solar panel. What would I need extra to make that all work? I'm thinking a stronger inverter or charge controller to make sure it can charge the battery up to 100%. Any help would be great thanks!
You can add the extra panel from the factory so nothing really required. They've updated their converters to be lithium friendly now & get 100% charge according to what I've been told but I've never had the opportunity to test and verify
I don't think you'd need to do anything special for what you're looking to accomplish
@@JoshtheRVNerd OK thank you. Yeah a dealer here in Colorado stated the charge controller would need to be upgraded at a cost of 800$ they said the charge controller would only charge the battery to 80%. the model we looked at was a 2022 model as well. I'm wondering if there is a way you can confirm this? Thanks again!
@@the_anxiousphotographer This is the kind of info that isn't always well documented to dealers
Recommendation: Let's take the he said/ she said out of it and if I were you I'd just call rockwood's customer service directly
What is the largest size you would recommend for a 2021 3/4 ton duramax?
That’s a loaded question, the trucks can very widely on payload depending on trim level/cabin/bed length. Just call the dealer and ask for specifications based on the specific model you want. Then just make sure you’re a couple thousand pounds less so you have room for additional items and safety.
@@Murphy326 thank you just bought it. Need to look more into it. It is a HD 2500 LTZ it has the new 10 speed Allison 6.6 diesel. I need to do some homework!.
Can I get theater seating instead of dinette?
I believe you can actually
Can these be ordered with no outdoor kitchen and an empty bunk room area? Curious if could work for some of my needs
That’s a standard feature in the base build but typically things like that are not very difficult for us to remove for you
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks for the info. It's amazing to me how many rigs insist on putting in an outdoor ditchen (though I get the sales reasons).
If i made one it would be 12 volt fridge, white outside, lots of solar, and light interior
Same :)
How about telling us the BTUs of the furnace.
And she didn’t knock ✊ your block off over the buns hun. Hmm 🤔 she’s got a lot of control. 😁
Can i order the kitchen counter extension?
Do you guys have a 2507 mini or equivalent micro 25 something? 80” Murphy bed? Okay. It’s the Flagstaff 25BDS 👍
Not on hand currently but I believe we have one landing any time
Here's our 2021 footage of it meanwhile ua-cam.com/video/kNiJE5V8nCQ/v-deo.html
Hey Uncle Josh can you come for Thanksgiving? Bring the buns please!
Gramps said don't forget the cranberry sauce too. Thanks were cookin' a deepfried turducken!
You had me at hello LOL
OMG a freaking bathtub..woohoo.. i'm sold. love the curtain going around the sofa bed but curtain should be parked opposite side of door. in the way by door. I think lighter colors inside make it look larger. I am a medium kinda person but i would go light with only two choices. The sink in bath should be a corner sink. i would prefer more elbow space around sink... i am a bathroom person so i love space in a bathroom. I think kitchen needs a bigger frig and small dishwasher.... if i were to design one for me..those bunks would be gone and have a bigger kitchen and bath. everything else is good. wait..was there a Washer and dryer hook up? gotta have that. i would be set then. that is alot of space for a 26ft/32ft'er. Josh you are a nut. Bet you were the class clown in school.
Definitely no washer dryer hook up in something that size. There’s just not enough space to give up for a fixture that big
26:02 12V Fridge ⚡️🧊 & Solar (as much as possible) ☀️🔋⚡️ & white skin (shrouds too on roof) ✊🏽 & light interior 🛋
Who even offers you bread instead of a bun? I vote for the opening music and gangsta Josh to be the new opening music and icon from now on! That trailer is the shiznit though the domino lights are a bit to gangsta for me.
Edit: i remember "Harvey birdman-attorney at law"
That’s called a struggle dog
