In my opinion, with all the stuff you included, Boone's first recon beret was worth mentioning. You get it from Boone in Novac, it looks pretty cool and has a bonus to perception and +5 to critical chance.

@Chip the van graff armour is unique. It has higher stats than the standard combat armour, and higher stats than the black combat armour worn by other van graffs.
There's also the Remnants Power Armor, which is technically the base version of the Ganon Tesla Armor and is actually better in every way except for its durability, which degrades way faster unfortunately. As far as numbers go, it's actually the best power armor in the game. It's found on a dead Paladin at the Deathclaw Promenade, an unmarked location in the southeast of the map, across the Colorado river. If you're the type to save your mini nukes "because you might need them later," this is where you want to unload. There are SEVERAL alpha male and mother Deathclaws, and several more normal Deathclaws as well.
+HiiroRocker101 yeah i used up like 20 alien blaster shots to clear the place but what bothers me is that its VERY expensive to fix and i cant find the fitting helmet for it so its just collecting dust in a footlocker
techintuky- gamer it gives you the tesla armor not the regular one but i solved it when i reached lvl 50 i got the rank that allows you to fix items with items that are simmilar to the item that needs fixing so im using it now :D
+HiiroRocker101 you can actually get a full set of enclave power armor if you kill the person who gets out of the room because they dislike the faction you are helping just don't convince them to stay help and you can kill them for their suit
Fun fact: the Van Graff armor pick locked out of the chest next to Simon counts as a quest item, so you’ll get all the bonuses and DT, without the weight, making it more useful, and also a good fallback for something like Dead Money, because quest items can’t be removed from your inventory
Same with Motor-runner's helmet if you kill him and don't submit the claim to the NCR. You can start Dead Money with Medium Combat Armor and a Helmet that gives a +5 bonus to melee, which is Dead Money's thing. Easier Dead Money Set-up: - Van-Graff Combat Armor - Rebreather - Motor-Runner's Helmet

At the North Entrance of Clark Field during the "Come Fly With Me" quest you get a radiation suit off of a guy named Mr. RADical; it's not really that much of a secret because you kinda have to loot his body for a quest item but it is bright and unique nonetheless.
Boone when you finish his personal that makes you go to bitter springs, after the legion raid is over you can either get him to wear the 1st recon assault armor or the 1st recon survival armor. The survival armor you can take from his inventory but the assault armor you can not. The survival armor has a DT of 15 and a value of 300.
The Space Suit and Ulysses’s Mask (plus the 3 ring halo) is the best thing to wear in the Courier’s Mile IMO. Gives you bonus endurance and like 80 rad resistance & strong enough DT that you won’t immediately die.
Wait, you can find Indiana Jones' hat in a broken fridge? Is that supposed to be a joke towards the 'nuking the fridge' thing in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? Was that movie released before or after New Vegas? If the movie came first and the game is just making a joke about it, good one. One of my favorite armors is the 1st Recon survival armor, obtained my finishing the quest "I forgot to remember to forget" After the quest, if you tell Boone that he can be forgiven for what he has done, he will equip it. You can trade it off of him.
I love the naughty night wear, if I could wear armor over it, like what’s on the armored vault suits, with some boots I totally would that would be drip and Lucky and speechy.
My hardcore lightweight loadout is Naughty Nightwear + Hyperbreeder Alpha. Travel Light and Light Touch perks, run around the Wasteland and turn everything to an ash pile.
A unique armor was overlooked, there is a unique set of T-45 power armor can be found in dead wind cavern along with “mercy”, the grenade machine gun. The armor is called the “brotherhood t-45 power armor”. Which is different that the power armor that can be found on brotherhood knights and paladins. They look the same, but there is only one with that specific name.
These are not unique, but are rare and useful. The T-51b Power Armor. This is the non-Brotherhood of Steel model and does not count as faction armor, but has identical statistics and has the green coloring of the one from Fallout 3. It can be found in the Deathclaw Promontory, a secondary location due west of Cliffside Prospector Camp, alongside a suit of Enclave Remnant Power Armor, the best in the game. Be careful as there is one Alpha Male and two Deathclaw Mothers present. Another can be found in the Brotherhood safe house. Of course you will need to be liked or idolized by the Brotherhood of Steel.
Black combat armor is one of THE best ways to make insane amounts of caps early game Step 1: get an early game companion (best ones for this are Ed-E, Boone, Rex or Veronica) Step 2: accept the door guard job from the Vann Graffes Step 3: Let the suicide bomber in Step 4: pick up all black combat armor, use companion as Pack Brahmin Step 5: sell it to Vendortron
For me I have two apparel sets dependent on whether or not you have dlc or not. If not the armor is a combination of reinforced combat armor mkII and helmet and redbreather. You already showed us how to get the redbreather, (become idolized with the boomers and talk loyal into giving it to you) but since the armor isn't unique, I understand why you didn't cover it. To get it, I'd suggest going to the gun runners, as they should have a pair. the combo gives you a hefty 28 DT and the ability to breathe underwater! If you decided you wanted more experience in vegas, and got the DLCs (or at least honest hearts and lonesome road) there is another set with a little more DT, and an abundance of perks. You already know where the armor and helmet is, so I'd suggest others to watch his guide to getting the elite riot gear. The hat is Daniel's and can either be found by killing Daniel, or beating Zion and Honest Hearts. All together they have a DT of 29, (only 1 DT less than brotherhood T-51b power armor) crit chance+5, guns+10, chr+1, sneak sight, (basically night vision while sneaking) speech+10, and per+3. Not to mention I personally feel it is the best looking armor in the game. Although, since I know these pieces of equipment can only take so much damage, I'll also throw in the stuff you need to repair these things. Reinforced mkII Combat armor with jury rigging perk= any combat armor without perk= only mkII reinforced combat helmet of the same type basically works the same except it takes helmets instead of armor I don't think the redbreather needs repairs since it's a quest item that almost acts like it's winterized. Elite Riot gear armor with perk= any form of combat armor (including ranger armor) without perk=riot armor only. Getting that may seem difficult, but you can buy a normal version from the commisionaries you find across the divide. You need to have E-de unlock them for you. Don't worry if you've already done the lonesome road, you can still come back and use the ones you unlocked. Elite Riot gear helmet with perk= strangest repair options I've seen, either the riot helmet, or power armor. Yes, armor not helmet. without perk= riot gear helmets. You get those the same way as the armor. Daniels hat with perk= almost any headwear. without perk=just certain hats I think. Sorry this comment was so long, just wanted to cover these sets to the fullest

It's been a long time but I pretty sure there's a remnants power armor way in the bottom right corner of the map, you have to cross the river and find a death claw nesting area up on the cliffs that lead to the river, the armor is towards the back of the nesting area where the cliffs rise further up. It's been so long but if I remember correctly it only has a little bit less resistance then the best power armor but has some other stat boosting effects
You missed the Remnants Power Armour and Tb51 Power Armour these 2 are side by side on a secret location near dry wells and lucky jim mine and the Desert Ranger Combat Armour just side with NCR its in there safehouse. Also the armour in cesar's safehouse don't now that since i never sided with ceasar. note: you either get NCR unique armour or Ceasar's legion Unique Armour you can't have both without cheats
In my opinion, Fallout: New Vegas is still the best game to be released in the franchise after Fallout 1 and 2. The voice acting is spot on, the environments and locations you navigate are truly harrowing, and the choices you make have lasting effects on everyone around you. I've played through the primary game and all of the expansion packs many, many times and I still find something I haven't come across before during every play through. My only disappointment related to this game is that it ends as soon as you finish the main quest line. It would have been nice if you could actually experience the physical changes which take place after one of the four options are completed through your guidance. That would have made the game *perfect.*
I hate how fallout new Vegas ends i was so sad that i lost all those good guns and the gold helmet it was cool getting the helmet i can't keep it nooo why : ( .
For mods: FPGE Or, my preference, Alternate Start and then ignore the main story. Game can't end if you don't finish the main story. Explore, collect, do all companion quests, find all unique items and skill books, do all the DLCs - hundreds of hours of play time without ever going to Hoover Dam.
I have Remnants Power Armor without even triggering the Auld lang syne quest. Simply just go "Silver Peak Mine" near jacobs town for (Helmet) and the Body armor can be found east of Techatticup mine you have to swim to get there beware it's full of Death Claws including a mother Death Claw
So not sure if it legendary or unique, and its probably been mentioned but there is a set of remnants armor you can get without arcade. If you have to go to snippers nest and head towards Vegas facing the river you will eventually see a break in the ledge on the otherside. You have to finagle your way down the Cliffside, but eventually you can cross the river, and it brings you to an area full of deathclaws. If you can make your way around the rocks up top and pick off the deathclaws (there are A LOT of them) you can eventually get down into a gully that has the remnants armor as well as T51-B next to it. The helmet for the remnants armor is in a cave near their bunker
You can reload off an old save, like the system save before the battle, but you'll have no luck with continuing the game after the dam if you are on console or PC if you don't want to use console commands. The final battle of Hoover Dam is the last thing you do in chronologically as the courier.
You can also get into the fort if Benny escapes during peaceful conversation with him. As you leave the Tops you will be approached by a legion spokesperson who says the Ceaser wants to see you. Benny is there and you can kill him after fulfilling one mission for Ceaser
I got in Sewer then I found a gang name FIEND...more kikely raiders and I saw in their room was full of Ghoul and the Glowing one and after I killed them I saw another dead NPC lying on the floor with duffle bag inside duffle bag: Radiation suit Fire axe 10 stimpak Gas mask (Reinforced) Armor & Helmet I forgot the name it has DT of 16 and the fire axe dmg 37 dps 53 and I also got the Blade of west in the duffle bag .. I was just roaming in MOJAVE then end up in north New vegas
John martin. blade of the west is found being used by the marked men in lonesome road, what you're thinking of is the blade of the east. which is unique.
You missed the Remnants Armor and Helmet (or my memory is bad). The armor is found at the Deathclaw Promontory nearby the deathclaw mother and is on one of the dead prospectors, in really bad condition. The helmet is in Silver Peak Mine behind a gate and next to a skeleton and some supplies at the end of the mine. The armor can also be obtained by the same means as the Gannon Family Tesla Armor, while I'm sure there is a way to only get the Gannon Family Tesla Armor The Remnants armor set has the highest DT of 36 while having an armor HP on par with the leather armor. The armor gives you +1 STR and +15 RAD resist and the helmet gives you -1 CHA and +5 RAD resist. The effect's names for the armor is "Enclave armor" and for the helmet "Enclave helm". This is due to the Remnants armor being the Enclave's advanced power armor and is a remnant of the Enclave after the Lone Wanderer beat the dead horse after the Tribal from Fallout 2 (forgot what he/she's called) killed the horse by blowing up its oil rig. Sadly there is no "Hellfire" variant (my favorite variant of any power armor) like there was in Fallout 3 if you have the Broken Steel add-on. The only variant in New Vegas is the Gannon Family Tesla Armor, which was included in the video, and is also attainable through Arcade. It can be repaired by any power armor and, with Jury Rigging, metal armor.
Try the NCR Ranger Combat Armor. It can be obtained by doing enough quests for Camp McCaraan and eventually you will have the ability to talk to colonel Hsu and he will compliment your effort of helping out the NCR. He will then give you a key to an NCR safe house which you can then travel to and the armor will be on a shelf on the far back wall in the room closest to the right. The safe house can be located a distance from the Repcon Headquarters and the El Dorado Substation; but it requires a key to unlock. All of which this safe house includes ranger armor like the one Ranger Andy in Novac wears along with a medium weight salvaged power armor outfit as well.
A bit late, but there is one item you forgot to mention, and that is the Destroyed Collar. It's a non-functioning version of the regular Explosive Collar, with no effects other than the looks. It's worn on the neck, so any item that you can wear with the regular collar can also be worn with it. It's found on a dead body on the floor of a ruined building at Freeside, across Mick and Ralph's store. You can get a hint to it's existence during the quest "I could make you care" (given by Veronica) if you choose to track down the rangefinder, while following the quest marker and haven't spoken to the kids before that point. I can't remember though if it only spawns if you follow that exact route, or it's always there.
something that breaks immersion for me, is the fact that faction armor can be ruined by guards & guard dogs, what? The scent of the dusty wasteland + what's little left of the rangers scent mixed with partially irradiated sand smells different for a guard dog than everything else with the smell of dusty old wasteland? mean by then, there must be so much dirt kicked against your charectors torso, legs and face that a guard dog couldn't tell the difference, so for them to ruin a disguise, and for the guards to know everyone by heart takes me out of the immersion.
Buddy, I know it's been.3 years, but. Mythbusters tried it, and the only way to semi-fool a dog's nose is to run about a place a couple times, BUT that's only if you're on the run. A dog will obviously know who you are with a whiff, and know you're not family.
It is very common for people to incorrectly use the word unique to mean very rare. But in this video, everything except one or two items are unique. You might have found more common versions of some multiple times, but what is listed as unique really is unique.
There is merc grunt outfit that has a higher DT than most merc grunt outfits and it can be found next to Gun Runners, the man working and the ammunition bench is wearing it

One of my favorite armors is the 1st Recon survival armor, obtained my finishing the quest "I forgot to remember to forget" After the quest, if you tell Boone that he can be forgiven for what he has done, he will equip it. You can trade it off of him.
How do you trade it off him? Without companion mods on PC, you can't take companions' unique weapons or armor from their inventories.
You missed the Jailhouse Rocker, it can be found in the King's place and is modled after the outfits the Elvis wears in the Jailhouse Rock music video

My hardcore lightweight loadout is Naughty Nightwear + Hyperbreeder Alpha. Travel Light and Light Touch perks, run around the Wasteland and turn everything to an ash pile.

That isn't the only way of getting it. If you complete Arcade's quest and don't side with the legion, the pilot will give you her power armor.

A unique armor was overlooked, there is a unique set of T-45 power armor can be found in dead wind cavern along with “mercy”, the grenade machine gun. The armor is called the “brotherhood t-45 power armor”. Which is different that the power armor that can be found on brotherhood knights and paladins. They look the same, but there is only one with that specific name.

These are not unique, but are rare and useful. The T-51b Power Armor. This is the non-Brotherhood of Steel model and does not count as faction armor, but has identical statistics and has the green coloring of the one from Fallout 3.
It can be found in the Deathclaw Promontory, a secondary location due west of Cliffside Prospector Camp, alongside a suit of Enclave Remnant Power Armor, the best in the game. Be careful as there is one Alpha Male and two Deathclaw Mothers present.
Another can be found in the Brotherhood safe house. Of course you will need to be liked or idolized by the Brotherhood of Steel.
Black combat armor is one of THE best ways to make insane amounts of caps early game
Step 1: get an early game companion (best ones for this are Ed-E, Boone, Rex or Veronica)
Step 2: accept the door guard job from the Vann Graffes
Step 3: Let the suicide bomber in
Step 4: pick up all black combat armor, use companion as Pack Brahmin
Step 5: sell it to Vendortron
The party hat can also be found during the fly with me mission at the gouls if you pick a lock - very easy. there are bout 20 of them.

For me I have two apparel sets dependent on whether or not you have dlc or not. If not the armor is a combination of reinforced combat armor mkII and helmet and redbreather. You already showed us how to get the redbreather, (become idolized with the boomers and talk loyal into giving it to you) but since the armor isn't unique, I understand why you didn't cover it. To get it, I'd suggest going to the gun runners, as they should have a pair. the combo gives you a hefty 28 DT and the ability to breathe underwater!
If you decided you wanted more experience in vegas, and got the DLCs (or at least honest hearts and lonesome road) there is another set with a little more DT, and an abundance of perks. You already know where the armor and helmet is, so I'd suggest others to watch his guide to getting the elite riot gear. The hat is Daniel's and can either be found by killing Daniel, or beating Zion and Honest Hearts. All together they have a DT of 29, (only 1 DT less than brotherhood T-51b power armor) crit chance+5, guns+10, chr+1, sneak sight, (basically night vision while sneaking) speech+10, and per+3. Not to mention I personally feel it is the best looking armor in the game.
Although, since I know these pieces of equipment can only take so much damage, I'll also throw in the stuff you need to repair these things.
Reinforced mkII Combat armor with jury rigging perk= any combat armor
without perk= only mkII reinforced
combat helmet of the same type basically works the same except it takes helmets instead of armor
I don't think the redbreather needs repairs since it's a quest item that almost acts like it's winterized.
Elite Riot gear armor with perk= any form of combat armor (including ranger armor)
without perk=riot armor only. Getting that may seem difficult, but you can buy a normal version from the commisionaries you find across the divide. You need to have E-de unlock them for you. Don't worry if you've already done the lonesome road, you can still come back and use the ones you unlocked.
Elite Riot gear helmet with perk= strangest repair options I've seen, either the riot helmet, or power armor. Yes, armor not helmet.
without perk= riot gear helmets. You get those the same way as the armor.
Daniels hat with perk= almost any headwear.
without perk=just certain hats I think.

It's been a long time but I pretty sure there's a remnants power armor way in the bottom right corner of the map, you have to cross the river and find a death claw nesting area up on the cliffs that lead to the river, the armor is towards the back of the nesting area where the cliffs rise further up. It's been so long but if I remember correctly it only has a little bit less resistance then the best power armor but has some other stat boosting effects

You missed the Remnants Power Armour and Tb51 Power Armour these 2 are side by side on a secret location near dry wells and lucky jim mine and the Desert Ranger Combat Armour just side with NCR its in there safehouse. Also the armour in cesar's safehouse don't now that since i never sided with ceasar. note: you either get NCR unique armour or Ceasar's legion Unique Armour you can't have both without cheats

In my opinion, Fallout: New Vegas is still the best game to be released in the franchise after Fallout 1 and 2. The voice acting is spot on, the environments and locations you navigate are truly harrowing, and the choices you make have lasting effects on everyone around you. I've played through the primary game and all of the expansion packs many, many times and I still find something I haven't come across before during every play through.
My only disappointment related to this game is that it ends as soon as you finish the main quest line. It would have been nice if you could actually experience the physical changes which take place after one of the four options are completed through your guidance. That would have made the game *perfect.*

I have Remnants Power Armor without even triggering the Auld lang syne quest. Simply just go "Silver Peak Mine" near jacobs town for (Helmet) and the Body armor can be found east of Techatticup mine you have to swim to get there beware it's full of Death Claws including a mother Death Claw

It was a long time before I realized Mick sold the Naughty Nightwear. I always juat steal it through the bars while his back is turned.
So not sure if it legendary or unique, and its probably been mentioned but there is a set of remnants armor you can get without arcade. If you have to go to snippers nest and head towards Vegas facing the river you will eventually see a break in the ledge on the otherside. You have to finagle your way down the Cliffside, but eventually you can cross the river, and it brings you to an area full of deathclaws. If you can make your way around the rocks up top and pick off the deathclaws (there are A LOT of them) you can eventually get down into a gully that has the remnants armor as well as T51-B next to it. The helmet for the remnants armor is in a cave near their bunker

You can reload off an old save, like the system save before the battle, but you'll have no luck with continuing the game after the dam if you are on console or PC if you don't want to use console commands. The final battle of Hoover Dam is the last thing you do in chronologically as the courier.
You can also get into the fort if Benny escapes during peaceful conversation with him. As you leave the Tops you will be approached by a legion spokesperson who says the Ceaser wants to see you. Benny is there and you can kill him after fulfilling one mission for Ceaser

You can also find the Humble Cudgel in the sewers. It's a fun (unique) melee weapon.

You missed the Remnants Armor and Helmet (or my memory is bad). The armor is found at the Deathclaw Promontory nearby the deathclaw mother and is on one of the dead prospectors, in really bad condition. The helmet is in Silver Peak Mine behind a gate and next to a skeleton and some supplies at the end of the mine. The armor can also be obtained by the same means as the Gannon Family Tesla Armor, while I'm sure there is a way to only get the Gannon Family Tesla Armor The Remnants armor set has the highest DT of 36 while having an armor HP on par with the leather armor. The armor gives you +1 STR and +15 RAD resist and the helmet gives you -1 CHA and +5 RAD resist. The effect's names for the armor is "Enclave armor" and for the helmet "Enclave helm". This is due to the Remnants armor being the Enclave's advanced power armor and is a remnant of the Enclave after the Lone Wanderer beat the dead horse after the Tribal from Fallout 2 (forgot what he/she's called) killed the horse by blowing up its oil rig. Sadly there is no "Hellfire" variant (my favorite variant of any power armor) like there was in Fallout 3 if you have the Broken Steel add-on. The only variant in New Vegas is the Gannon Family Tesla Armor, which was included in the video, and is also attainable through Arcade. It can be repaired by any power armor and, with Jury Rigging, metal armor.
Try the NCR Ranger Combat Armor. It can be obtained by doing enough quests for Camp McCaraan and eventually you will have the ability to talk to colonel Hsu and he will compliment your effort of helping out the NCR. He will then give you a key to an NCR safe house which you can then travel to and the armor will be on a shelf on the far back wall in the room closest to the right. The safe house can be located a distance from the Repcon Headquarters and the El Dorado Substation; but it requires a key to unlock.
All of which this safe house includes ranger armor like the one Ranger Andy in Novac wears along with a medium weight salvaged power armor outfit as well.

Legates armor is unattainable through normal gameplay and inventory editing commands. The helmet wasn't in the vid though
A bit late, but there is one item you forgot to mention, and that is the Destroyed Collar.
It's a non-functioning version of the regular Explosive Collar, with no effects other than the looks. It's worn on the neck, so any item that you can wear with the regular collar can also be worn with it.
It's found on a dead body on the floor of a ruined building at Freeside, across Mick and Ralph's store. You can get a hint to it's existence during the quest "I could make you care" (given by Veronica) if you choose to track down the rangefinder, while following the quest marker and haven't spoken to the kids before that point. I can't remember though if it only spawns if you follow that exact route, or it's always there.
I always collect that, but I didn't know it was wearable.

something that breaks immersion for me, is the fact that faction armor can be ruined by guards & guard dogs, what? The scent of the dusty wasteland + what's little left of the rangers scent mixed with partially irradiated sand smells different for a guard dog than everything else with the smell of dusty old wasteland? mean by then, there must be so much dirt kicked against your charectors torso, legs and face that a guard dog couldn't tell the difference, so for them to ruin a disguise, and for the guards to know everyone by heart takes me out of the immersion.
Trust me, you can't fool a dogs nose, it's fucken impossible.

Mythbusters tried it, and the only way to semi-fool a dog's nose is to run about a place a couple times, BUT that's only if you're on the run. A dog will obviously know who you are with a whiff, and know you're not family.

Even if it was Fallout 3 it's not unique not even rare.
more than half of this things are not unique, because i found them a few times on different places.
Unique items do not have to be a single item read the definition of it on Fnv wikia.
It is very common for people to incorrectly use the word unique to mean very rare.
But in this video, everything except one or two items are unique. You might have found more common versions of some multiple times, but what is listed as unique really is unique.
