@@3drgm565 in the celler is fat man rounds. With wild wasteland perk enabled, the holy frags replace the nukes, but this only happens if you have wild wasteland at the start of your game, not when its enabled with the 'old world blues' auto doc. Fallout wiki can tell you where it is exactly.

When I found the unique missile launcher "Annabelle" and then found the ghoul "Raul" pretty much right next to it, I freaked out a little.. Because my name is Raul and my two year old daughter's name is Annabelle. :D

The "That Gun" can also be obtained for free when cliff leaves the shop and you lockpick the door open behind him and obtain that gun much easier (Very good for starting couriers)
Or buy the key from him for like, 50 caps

While I think the Alien Blaster is AWESOME, it's ammo is extremely rare, so instead of calling it my favorite, I'm giving that honor to YCS/186, with the Q-35 Matter Modulator coming in at a close second. The Max Charge MFC alongside the YCS/186 gives it over 200 damage and close to a whopping 900 DPS, not to mention it has a scope! Sniping anyone?

Vladimir Valentine No. The mercenaries who carry the YCS/186 will be replaced by Aliens who carry the Alien Blaster instead. While the Alien Blaster could be considered superior, its ammunition, Alien Power Cells, is very scarce and irreplaceable without the use of console commands.

For That Gun, if you don't want to buy it wait until Cliff Briscoe leaves the shop and pick the door behind the counter. The gun will be on the shelf to your right.

I was always a bit disappointed that, when you send the power to Archimedes II, the C-Finder didn't blow away half of Freeside if you didn't get it first.
those are really "unique" weapons. not like the lame legendary effect from fallout 4.

Don't buy "That Gun." You can wait til 1Am, cliff will leave the store and you can unlock the very easy locked door behind the counter and steal "That gun" for free as well as some other items you don't have to steal back there as well, including the toy model rockets that are an option to use as a required quest item for the, "come fly with me" quest, I believe it is called, which you find at the repcon test site near the town of no vac.

When I saw the slow-mo shots of the YCS/186 I noticed that it shoots a solid projectile. So, I believe that the Gauss rifle is actually a rail gun.

Hey man freaking amazing guide, I only play vanilla so I can use the various glitches for caps/xp, so this sort of guide is extremely useful, I was able to obtain all the vanilla energy weapons for my latest character! thanks again! :)
I noticed that you left out that the q-35 matter modulator also has increased durability. Lasting more than three times as long as your typical plasma rifle, it makes using max, overcharge or optimized MFC much more appealing.

Well I'm glad that there is finally a good guide on unique weapons because now I know that I did get all of them. I wish there was a unique anti material rifle though.
Matthew Esparza there is tho, if you kill the mercenaries north of Vegas (you can’t have the wild wastelands trait, there will be aliens instead with the alien blaster)
You can get the GRA version with gun runners dlc

Finally finished getting all the guns in this video after a few hours‚ also I used the BB gun on the legendary death claw (Very hard difficulty) it only took 64 pellets.

Thumbs up. Unique weapons are always an awesome find, especially if you find them on accident.
I'd like to make special mention of Mercy. Depending on skills and ammo availability it might not
be the best weapon for you, but it is the most visually devastating. Second only to things like the nuke
launchers, the amount of devastation that is unleashed by this gun is huge. Nothing like slow walking
down the strip and letting this thing do its business.
noupperlobeman Thanks! Good call, Mercy is a favorite of mine. For ammo, you can check with the Khans' Armory, they usually have many 40mm grenades to spare.

Mercy seriously? I honestly prefer the Advenger not as flashy as mercy but a ton better un silver orange finish and all nothing better than popping in a fresh mag of armour piercing rounds cladding your self in full b 51 power armour and letting it rip trough a hole platune of armoured soldiers you might prefare to see bodies fly but I prefare to see them get thorn in half as the unison of rifle fire gets silenced in but a second. Best moment was killing the guard outside of silver rush and then mouing down the half dozen guards that come to his aid.
I've never made a guns guy in New Vegas, otherwise I'd pick the avenger.
I almost always play melee / explosives build for funsies.
There is another prototype if you go to the silver rush and go up the stairs past the back door, then go strait and be confronted by a locked door, open it and on the left it will be there . I forgot the name of it
you don't require talent pool to get the mysterius magnum you can just go there and kill the lonesome drifter and get it

Erix wright the first time I got the gun I was trying to kill every single npc in the game andt hat's how I found the weapon, I always killed every one inside benny's casino never got to do that mission till I deciced to do a peaceful ending.

ok the alien blaster i have is somewhat glitched anytime i reload it, it still shows the same amount of ammo meaning i wont run out of ammo for it. 😃

I use the glitch where you hotkey an ammo type and the equip the alien blaster and use the hotkey on the ammo and it will still fire alien blaster rounds without actually needing them

It is the unique variant of the hunting revolver but is not like notmal unique weapons in that if you are a high enough level some of the veteran rangers at camp golf carry it as well
In 10 years, this tutorial is more useful than many.

Caedo Genesis ok so i tryed to kill a deathclaw with the bb gun (im level 45 and didnt have a fallower with me) i died 15 times before jumping into a set of power armor and the died twice them was able to kill the deathclaw after using 50 stimpacks
Caedo Genesis it took 16 shots to kill a deathclaw with the abbalien kid bb gun
hitmarkr halitosis it took me 20 shots to kill a dearhclaw with the anti-material rifle
Caedo Genesis it took me 9 shots but I was hocked up on chems
Goatbomb 1 shot with ycs and a whole lot of drugs to kill the legendary deathclaw

You forgot the Van Graff Laser Rifle the Van Graff Plasma Rifle the Missing Laser pistol and the Codac R9000 even tho these guns are useless because of there lowered stats the still great for your collection
Better yet, the missing Lazer pistol is a quest item. Cannot be removed, a good holdout weapon for both casinos and dlc.

Try vault 34, i lettirelly ran over everything when im follow a guide how to get all american, after i getting the all american, i dont remember how to get out so i died of radiation
