I don't see Klein and the think tank or möbius, people who bested and outdone time and age, though still being the impossible culmination of men and women of science and mere children, playing with toys they created, or stole and broken, only for one to fix itself and demand that they stop and actually listen to those not blinded by science. I saw much of myself in each of these figure's, but Ulysses? I see a perfect version of me, a man who regrets, yet says much more truth than a preacher, a man who has killed and would do so again, if only to prove such ways depending on circumstances, are wrong. Ulysses is probably the best fallout character ever created, further proving graphics, player base and money, are far less important, than they seem.
If you do the nukes before entering the tops casino and obtain whatever armor you want, and then enter the tops, deal with Benny, and leave, you will be pardoned of all crimes by both legion and NCR. My Lonesome Road was... Emotional. I was a good character, but I had lost Veronica, then I did the Old World Blues dlc, where I decided that losing her caused me to become a bitter, evil individual. my lonesome road was... Enlightening. My courier was the showboat. the glory, the guy constantly wanting to be the center of attention. I'd get into situations I couldn't handle and I'd rely on others to do my dirty work while I took the credit. When I got E-de I treated him like shit. he was just another tool, then we got into a pretty bad scrap with some deathclaws, because I was too stupid to heed anyone's words of wisdom and took the straight forward path to new Vegas. He died. and I felt...odd. like a chunk of me went missing. I got my ass outta there in relatively good shape, but i couldn't stop thinking about E-de. Eventually I met Boone, then Arcade, Then Cass and so on and so on. Boone met his end when I got cocky and tried to take on vault three with just a 9mm. Arcade fell when we got the bad side of some legionaries. Cassidy, well you don't wanna know about Cass. But this pattern repeated itself over and over until I was the last one left. I was idolized everywhere but. it meant nothing to me. I was a badass decked out in full ncr ranger armor. Deathclaws fell at me feet in seconds, but it was pointless. I felt so alone. Fame and glory meant nothing if there was no one to share it with. So after I made enough caps I did what every other loner would do. get drunk. but it wasn't for fun, it was to fill a hole, to rekindle the spark the made feel alive again. it was in vain. Then I met Veronica, I was back on my feet and soon I felt great again, but then I thought about everything else I had done, how friends had been killed because of my reckless habits. So I just left Veronica one day without a single word. I couldn't witness that again. not after I lost everyone else. So I went back to Vegas and once again began to drink my sorrows away. in a drunken haze I remembered getting a frequency on my pip boy. then I ended up in the big empty with the think tank. After those trials and tribulations I ended following another frequency. this time to the Sierra Madre. there I met Elijah. It scared me how similar me and Elijah were. In constant pursuit of something be it glory or power, we both used and abused anyone in our way and any who helped, in the end Elijah was trapped with what he was looking for. And I was left to my thoughts. For a time after that I'd just wander still processing what I had learned when my trails lead me to the happy trails caravan and to Zion. but more importantly to Joshua Graham and to Daniel. At first I sympathized with Joshua and said we should kill salt upon wounds. But I spoke with Daniel and what he said gave me pause. Did I really have the right to take life, be it good or bad? Did I have the right to dictate other's lives? eventually I decided it would be better if the tribes Joshua and Daniel were protecting to flee instead of needlessly die. These events lead me to seek a path of atonement for the wrongs I had done and to seek forgiveness form my fallen comrades. This path would lead me to the divide, where I would defeat Ulysses with words, rather than weapons. I had encountered E-de and I saw it as a second chance, a chance to fix my mistakes. I was heartbroken when Ed-e gave his life so that others could live, but I thought back to his original death and realized he done the same thing before. I walked my lonesome road and emerged a new man free from the bonds of vice and conflict, because war, war never changes, men do, through the roads they walk
My favorite DLC by far. ED-E is my favorite companion and his upgrades are amazing. I always get positive rep with NCR just to get the NCR duster. NCR duster + Strong Back = 😍
I'm idolized with the NCR. Long live NCR. I really want that power armor, though. I'm sorry General Oliver, President Kimball, Colonel Moore, Major Dhitri... I HAVE TO HAVE THAT POWER ARMOR.
This guide is awesome, thank you! Straight forward and no fluff. I've usually beaten the game by the time the DLC comes out and by then there's little incentive to play it. Now, upon 2nd play through doing these dlcs early on is much more enjoyable. This dlc was top-notch.
Hands down my favorite dlc of new Vegas on my most recent playthrough I went into the dlc at level 15 and left rich asf and loaded with the best weaponry in the game great experience
I sided with yes man and didn't nuke either but I gave me the ncr duster for some reason. My reputation was good but I assumed that since I was doing the yes man playthrough I would get the blackjack duster
I used to not like this DLC just because of how gloomy and boring it looked, now that I've played through it a few times I have grown to regard it as one of, if not, my all time favorite. My only regret is that I cannot believe I missed the Elite Riot Gear every time! Thank you so much for these fun, informative and entertaining guides. I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us!
Caedogenisis , Thank you for making all these guides. Fallout 3, 4 and New Vegas . Keep Making these videos. Wouldn't find most of these weapons without these video guides. Keep On uploading !
I have a question. I am currently doing this dlc campaign before the main vanilla campaign. I really want all the unique armor, but I don't want to jeopardize my current status for my campaign. Is there any missions of the campaign I should do before I end this dlc? (I don't really care for spoilers) Please reply soon, Mohawkwarrior12
How to start a op build: when you start go straight to the divide and get the laser detonator and the red glare. Then use this glitch (i only know the xbox way) open your inventory hover over red glare press the favorites button go left on the left stick and go to the ammo section and favorite the rockets (do all of this while still holding down the favorite button) then equip the laser detonator and swap to the rocket. Have fun and try not to blow yourself up :)
I played new Vegas and beat it so many times but today marks the day I beat all the dlcs for the first time, it was great thank you for helping me with the uniques too
Should I play through Old World Blues or Lonesome Road first? And should I even bother with Dead Money unless I want its acheivements? (I already played Honest Hearts.)
Play all of them, they're all great. I'd go by order tho. Dead money then honest hearts and then old world blues and then lonesome road. Because they are all connected in some way
finnishtrollXD Did you know there's 2 more? - The Marked Man Hunter guarding that same roof in the Marked Men Camp. - The final reward footlocker after beating Lonesome Road.
Thanks for the spoilers alert. I actually stopped the video right when you said it. I finished that dlc but it was years ago, and I can’t remember how it ends, and right now I’m about to enter the lonesome road again :)
You can still get both faction armors even without starting Lonesome Road. You just have to open the console and type "tmm 1" which unlocks all map markers, Allowing you to go to Long 15 and Dry Wells. And yeah, it is considered cheating.
I love how plot twist of LR is: you are not going against other lunatics, who are obsessed with something, and about who you heard about in other dlc. You are lunatic yourself obsessed with exploring and annihilating remains of any other hostile local community just because of radio from Ulysses.
It was an adventure for sure. I let the middle take out the Legion. Then I failed the quest. At least I saved before taking on Ulysses. I may re do it. Thanks for the video .
What ever faction you have the most rep with when you enter the divide, will determine the duster you will get when you leave. So for example, because I was liked by the NCR and accepted by Mr. House, I got the duster with the NCR logo on it because I had more rep with the NCR than house, or any other faction for that matter.
The area with the third marked man leader, there is a little stone cubby thing, and inside of it is a bedroll that allows the courier to sleep wherever they please. There is probably more stuff like this but ive not found any yet personally.
One that you missed is found the same way you get Fist of Rawr, but with the wild wasteland perk, you will instead have Fist of the North Rawr, rather than Fist of Rawr
You missed the Riot Gear, which can be bought from the Commisary Stations scattered around the Divide. You also missed Red Glare, which can be found near the Laser Detonator.
IDK if this is a bug, but I found dads wasteland jacket tucked away on the right side of the couriers mile. Its the same jacket that your dad wears in Fallout 3.
There is a way to nuke both and still side with either just nuke them before you get to the strip. At the strip there are 2 rep resets that are built in mechanics
also, guys, and i know im late, but the Armor of the 87th Tribe and the Scorched Sierra Power Armor are NOT considered Faction armor, you can wear those if you side either NCR or Caesar Legion
This dlc adds 3 more suits of T-51 power armor. To get them all you need to nuke both NCR and legion. save before entering dry wells, long 15, and couriers mile and fight the enemies. there will been a gray crate containing either combat armor mk2, t45 or t51. if you don't get what you want, load at the save before you entered.
you may not know but there is a army cabin at the start in the area where you get the laser detonator where a lock skull of 95 or science of 95 is needed to get in the bilding inside is the first riot armor in a locker
With the Fist of Rawr Should you have the Wild Wasteland trait, You craft the Fist of the North Rawr instead. Though it has a different name and a separate Form ID, it is otherwise identical to the standard weapon.

I walked my lonesome road and emerged a new man free from the bonds of vice and conflict, because war, war never changes, men do, through the roads they walk
that's deep dude
You need to write a book...
Void-master really?
Jomobram Strickland Yes, that was very deep. If not just write a fanfiction or something you have potential.
omg we need a book😭😭😭
I don't get why people thought this dlc was hard, I'm getting past it just fine at level 18. Just bring the anti material rifle and you are good.
Uuuuuntil five tunnelers swarm you or three death claws shit on you chest
Lol the I got an anti material rifle and did that dlc at level 11 not knowing I should have waited till later
Ikr
With explosive ammo👍
Did it at level 2 with nothing but a spawned in grenade machine gun.
just one thing ou forgot to mention the fact that you need an unarmed skill of 75 to craft the fist or rawr
It makes sense tho
The elite riot gear can actually also be found in hopevile, in the armory, You need a lockpick of 100 though
Wait it does?
@@e_x_c_u_b_i_t_o_r_ejiysb7169 nope it is the basic Riot Armour
My favorite DLC by far. ED-E is my favorite companion and his upgrades are amazing. I always get positive rep with NCR just to get the NCR duster. NCR duster + Strong Back = 😍
I'm idolized with the NCR. Long live NCR. I really want that power armor, though. I'm sorry General Oliver, President Kimball, Colonel Moore, Major Dhitri... I HAVE TO HAVE THAT POWER ARMOR.
me too
There is a thing called command console
+mario luigi maybe console m8
+mario luigi maybe he's on ps3/xbox dur.
+mario luigi pc is shit-consoles only
This guide is awesome, thank you! Straight forward and no fluff. I've usually beaten the game by the time the DLC comes out and by then there's little incentive to play it. Now, upon 2nd play through doing these dlcs early on is much more enjoyable. This dlc was top-notch.
Best dlc in the game. When adding the best and coolest looking amour in the game is just one of the coolest things in this dlc really says a lot.
I walk this Lonesome Road, the only one the Ulysses' ever know.
Where the divide sleeps I'm the only one and i walk alone
Well u have ed e with u and hes in your ear and alot of enemy so its not really alone at all
Buba Jack It....was a song reference.....
Yeah a reference to “ boulevard of broken dreams" by Green Day
lol
Hands down my favorite dlc of new Vegas on my most recent playthrough I went into the dlc at level 15 and left rich asf and loaded with the best weaponry in the game great experience
What about the H&H Tool Gun?
@@kamrengreydanus2818 its unique but not rare
The Lurkerer switch those words around
Dude H&H Tool Gun is not rare. In my first gameplay, I didn't explore Divide one bit and still found like 5 Tool Guns.
I sided with yes man and didn't nuke either but I gave me the ncr duster for some reason. My reputation was good but I assumed that since I was doing the yes man playthrough I would get the blackjack duster
Freezie Pop it depends on your highest reputation to get yes men all factions has to be at most at neutral when confronting ulyesses
I like to think I know all of these locations off by heart by now, purely because of how often I watch these videos. I love them so much.
If the nukes still work, I am sure some of the stoves still work as well :P
Nuclear stoves?
Caedo Genesis haha sure!
There must be some Macguyver around to fix the stoves :P
Nuclear powered cars!!
OVERCUMBERD AS FUCK thats how it was
That's an understatement, I was so overencumbered I starting to become a new planet.
Crayola Master Thank god the commisaries contained unlimited money
Yeah i didn't know you could sell stuff on them till i got to that really tall high way
+Jack Duripper What?! For me they were always out of money...
Ich Bin If you use up the money in a commisary it instantly restocks to 6000
I used to not like this DLC just because of how gloomy and boring it looked, now that I've played through it a few times I have grown to regard it as one of, if not, my all time favorite. My only regret is that I cannot believe I missed the Elite Riot Gear every time! Thank you so much for these fun, informative and entertaining guides. I cannot wait to see what else you have in store for us!
Much appreciated, and thanks for the insight! Your feedback is valued here, I hope others follow your example!
Low-Light vision also activates in interior areas when sneaking. It's not just tied into the time of day in the game.
Just watched all 4 of these videos for each DLC, SUB earned
I'm pretty sure there are 3 riot gears, one is near the army general in a locker
No
@@AA-co5zv yes there is.
The U.S Army General Outfit and the Boomers Officers Cap goes really nice together. Also Authority Glasses go good with it too.
US Army Gen. Coat, Pre War Hat, sunglasses.
Great guide! This brings back great memories of first playing this game on pc, the nostalgia! :D
(I don't really care for spoilers)
Please reply soon,
Mohawkwarrior12
Mohawk I know this is old but if you nuke them both before the main campaign your crimes will be pardoned
This is a very goated channel and these videos are still useful to this day
You Missed The Unique Bed Behind Were You Exit The 1st Bunker You Can Sleep Any were And Its UseFull
I was only in the mindset of weapons/armor and ED-E's upgrades for this one, but you're right, these are useful! Good catch.
Caedo Genesis did you know that you don't have to nuke both, they will appeared to be nuke though and you don't get bad rep :)
SwS Envy There are actually two of these (that I have seen).
I found three
Theres 50 of these in the game, all scattered in top secret spots
How to start a op build: when you start go straight to the divide and get the laser detonator and the red glare. Then use this glitch (i only know the xbox way) open your inventory hover over red glare press the favorites button go left on the left stick and go to the ammo section and favorite the rockets (do all of this while still holding down the favorite button) then equip the laser detonator and swap to the rocket. Have fun and try not to blow yourself up :)
This DLC is the best DLC in my opinion , more fun than OWB
Caedo, you're the type of guy that makes my life worth living
Anddddddddddddd , I missed about 3 ED-E upgrades . FML :/
caedo you deserve so many more subs and i love ur fallout guides
T-51b power armor, T-51b helmet, tesla canon. In the long 15
John Brony Not unique.
The T-51B power armor is the only one of its kind the brotherhoods armor is completly different from it
John Brony It's still not unique as not all T-51b armour is BoS only, I've got non BoS T-51b armour from vanilla gameplay
John Brony there is t-51b power armor with the enclave body by the river.
I know this comment is old but in the BOS safehouse there is T51-B normal armor
Dude your video's are really helpful , keep up the good work!
Why did they make tunnelers I was on very easy and at lvl 35 but they still shreked me and the pancincia
Get power armor
+wmasonnorice Just grab the flare gun that one of the marked men with blister uses. They'll run away just by being set on fire by it.
just chunk flash grenades
+Famous last words bro I chucked all my flashes and the sons of bitches just run through em
Power armor doesnt help much.
Because they are all connected in some way
Jean Baron wrong order. Honest hearts, old world blues, dead money then lonesome road. Its chronologically accurate this way.
Just get the ultimate edition. it comes with all the DLC's
Chase Sanity I have it.
Gabe Newell Oh okay!
The intro is awesome! Great work!
can you make a video of all the warheads because i can only find 20 of them
Maybe, if there's enough requests for it. Thanks for watching!
no problem and your videos really help a lot
Caedo I think you should do the list of the warheads
That's a good idea you should do it
The nail gun you find at the bridge was my saving grace on the lonesome road. Those tunnelers we're bad news.
What about the Red Glare. You forgot it.
I appreciate your attention, so where's it found?
finnishtrollXD
Did you know there's 2 more?
- The Marked Man Hunter guarding that same roof in the Marked Men Camp.
- The final reward footlocker after beating Lonesome Road.
**RARE ITEM INTENSIFIES**
Thanks for the spoilers alert. I actually stopped the video right when you said it. I finished that dlc but it was years ago, and I can’t remember how it ends, and right now I’m about to enter the lonesome road again :)
You can still get both faction armors even without starting Lonesome Road. You just have to open the console and type "tmm 1" which unlocks all map markers, Allowing you to go to Long 15 and Dry Wells. And yeah, it is considered cheating.
Only on PC, which I think is the best platform for this type of game.
You deserve way more Subs i think your great
The us army combat armor in the hopevill missile silo in a locked locker
Not unique.
Thanks for doing this you are like the only Person who dose vides
I sided with the ncr but Good god i want that power armor
Update: I ended up nuking both factions cuz i dont give a fuck xD
I didn't know about the armor, so I nuked the Legion. D:
Floop Lord Steven Too bad bro. Just use console commands if ur playing on pc to teleport urself to long 15
I'm on ps3 ;(
That's what I get for playing blind.
Floop Lord Steven Well... You still have the remnants power armor and the armor of the 87th tribe
Right on brother, same here
If you ever revisit New Vegas, a guide to the hidden logs & EDE Ralphie poster locations would be great 👍
Thank you for showing me all the unique items. Your movies are awesome. Hope you will do guides with fallout 4.
Hands down one of my favorite DLCs.
These guide are very well detailed and it helps me a lot
Fantastic videos Caedo. Just subscribed.
8 years later and I still come back to watch these videos so I can grab everything, Yes I’m a completionist. Lol
It's crazy how unique this game is depending on if you turn right left open this run past that
That intro was freaking amazing
Love your videos! Very helpful!
Missed blade of the West from blade. I know this video is old but I still play new vegas and I forget things and like to watch these vids
You forgot about Royez's unique NCR buret that can be found on Royez in the long 15
I love how plot twist of LR is: you are not going against other lunatics, who are obsessed with something, and about who you heard about in other dlc.
You are lunatic yourself obsessed with exploring and annihilating remains of any other hostile local community just because of radio from Ulysses.
Even in 2021 this guide is still useful
It was an adventure for sure. I let the middle take out the Legion. Then I failed the quest. At least I saved before taking on Ulysses. I may re do it. Thanks for the video .
What ever faction you have the most rep with when you enter the divide, will determine the duster you will get when you leave. So for example, because I was liked by the NCR and accepted by Mr. House, I got the duster with the NCR logo on it because I had more rep with the NCR than house, or any other faction for that matter.
I'm going to go through all the DLCs, I'm doing Lonesome Road now, saving Dead Money for last
The area with the third marked man leader, there is a little stone cubby thing, and inside of it is a bedroll that allows the courier to sleep wherever they please. There is probably more stuff like this but ive not found any yet personally.
and as an unregistered bonus of the elite riot gear, you look like a total badass
Not sure if you just forgot or didnt add it since its right next to the laser detonator, but the red glare rocket launcher is also pretty unique
Pretty unique, not actually unique. You can find it multiple times in the DLC.
Thanks for the advice I guess it was pretty helpful for the things I missed
One that you missed is found the same way you get Fist of Rawr, but with the wild wasteland perk, you will instead have Fist of the North Rawr, rather than Fist of Rawr
"The Courier Never Changes"
You missed the Riot Gear, which can be bought from the Commisary Stations scattered around the Divide. You also missed Red Glare, which can be found near the Laser Detonator.
IDK if this is a bug, but I found dads wasteland jacket tucked away on the right side of the couriers mile. Its the same jacket that your dad wears in Fallout 3.
Its randomized you will find a combat armore most time.
Lord it was amazing it made me sit in silents for like 5 min and all I could say was damn thanks for the vids
There is a way to nuke both and still side with either just nuke them before you get to the strip. At the strip there are 2 rep resets that are built in mechanics
Super helpful video bro thanks
I have to say this is a great video, to the point and very simple to understand. +1 sub and a like.
my lonesome road was fun but got more funner with this vid thx dude
also, guys, and i know im late, but the Armor of the 87th Tribe and the Scorched Sierra Power Armor are NOT considered Faction armor, you can wear those if you side either NCR or Caesar Legion
