The back straps aren’t just to accommodate different size hands, but rather change the geometry of the grip to change the natural POA. The largest one makes it point like a Glock, the middle one is more like an M&P and the smallest is more like a 1911. Try putting them on and naturally bringing your pistol up to aim at something and see where your sights line up, then change your grip accordingly.

I know the [purpose] of the backstraps and the little parts. In fact I changed the backstrap and used some of those parts to install the magwell.

Jeff, Remember this was an “unboxing”. It was the 1st time I saw the gun and hadn’t had an opportunity to even know what was in the box, let alone an opportunity to [read the manual]. For the record, I used those pieces.
Those small pieces are if you want to mount the mag well. Without the mag well, there’s a pin that goes through the frame/handle to pin the adjustable grip/backstrap in place. If you want to mount the mag well, then you use that little piece in the bag, which goes into the bottom of the frame and allows a lower hole position to install a pin to hold the mag well onto the frame.
Trust me you are good with what you have. The only, and I mean [only] difference between the MR920 and the Warpoet version is... The Warpoet symbol on the slide and the word 'Warpoet' engraved on the ejection port side of the barrel. Otherwise, it is a straight up MR920. Have no regrets. If I could do it over again, I would have gone with the FDE Version over the MR920.
I am actually a Sig P320 RX Compact fan boy. I bought this because it was a unique gun and it came with a Holosun Optic that I really wanted to try out.

Things change. The only difference I can see between the Warpoet pistol and a straight MR920 are the Warpoet pistol has the Warpoet emblem and Warpoet on engraved on the port area of the barrel.
@@armeddiver it was also all the accessories it came with. Two barrels, etc. it was just a collaboration between WPS and Shadow, they didn’t make a special firearm or anything.

Yes, I GRABBED THE OPTIC TO OPEN THE SLIDE!!!! What is your point? Do you use an optic? Do you train with an optic? If you are freaking out over me opening the slide with the optic, you are going to really freak out when I do one handed manipulation racking the slide with the optic off a barrier.
Yeah the optic on the shadow systems is mounted pretty securely, there’s no issues with using it to rack the slide... except you get fingerprints on the lens sometimes.

Having owned every glock in the book Shadow Systems takes the cake, their engineering is top notch and their customer service is far beyond anything glock has to offer.

It’s a good gun, but it doesn’t have the bulk of a regular Glock. Name the modification you can make to Glock and those modifications are in this gun.
