Good review’ the MR920 is the way a clone copy should be done’ the Glock 19 while not perfect’ checks a lot of boxes that people like us as shooters ask for’ reliability and accuracy! Don’t knock that 7 yard accuracy either’ that is nice tight shooting on your part’
Nice video, where are you in our great country? Could’ve been at my range, looks exactly like it. Although they all look similar. Enjoyed the comparison, the SS imo feels so much better. The stipple on the thumb rest is a game changer for me. Plus the 920 feels so much lighter. Well done sir.
I’m very confused as to why people are having problems with this gun because the platform is built on the patent that ran out on the Glock GEN three the components inside of it.
two questions: 1. Did you notice any difference in the felt recoil between the two? 2. Now that you've shot both, would you say the SS would replace your glock? meaning, are they so similar that you would get rid of one over the other?
I didn’t notice much difference in the recoil. I am keeping them both. If I was forced to make a choice, I would keep the Glock 19 just because I’ve grown attached to it.
I carried a gen 5 Glock 19 while on duty and a MR920 off duty. Still carry the MR920 to date. It is better than the Glock in my personal opinion in many ways.
Mine broke in, first 50 rounds of my +p ammo, then 100% reliability. Have both, like the MR920 better and the optics cust allows co-witness stock with RMR
@Baruch-Hashem Unfortunately, while I love my Shadow, I agree with MJM. My first DR920 was DOA. I gave it one more shot because I loved the feel of the frame and was forced to carry a Glock or Shadow for a duty weapon. The QC is questionable at Shadow Systems. However, their customer service was second to none about getting the first one up and running. Which is the key reason I didn't mind taking the risk.
That's the main reason I do not like glock!!! The angle of the grip when I present to target makes it so I have to push the front of the gun down. HATE IT!!! I would definitely carry a glock if not for this....
The MR920 with the smallest back strap would be much better for you. It definitely does make a difference even though it doesn't change the angle on the front of the grip.
@@davidfrye7713 Thank you for replying. I have heard that. I have looked at that model and it does look like it is different. I am most likely going to be getting one of those in the future some time.
@@searchingforaway8494 I have two now, an Elite and a Texas Foundation model (Texas flag Cerakote). I am going to break in the Foundation model this weekend. My Elite has been perfect. Very easy to be accurate with it. Optic mounting system is really great.

I just like the sights better on the MR920, texture, ledges, and optiocs cut is genius as it allows co-witness with stock sights - no MOS plates
Glock is like what Ford has been since Henry Ford started the company. Innovation was always last.
Awesome head to head comparison
I like made in the USA, call me old school.

MR920 feels like a skinny Glock. Love it.
Yeah, me too.

Excellent
Hayward is trigger reach on the mr920? Like my gen 5 19 though I wish the reach was just a tad shorter due to a shorter trigger finger.😠. Thanks
It’s about the same as a G19.

I have a mr920, I feel that it shoots a bit flatter
Better shot than me
Any issues breaking it in? Do you run it with Glock mags?
Yeah, it had a few malfunctions until the first cleaning. Worked fine after that. Works fine with either magazine.
Bought a MR920 Elite and had nothing but issues with it. Really wanted to love it but it was far less reliable than my Glock 19

Also has an Elite. Even after breakin period has feed issues. Traded for Glock 19x

Good video but you miss titled the video, that's not combat shooting that's precision shooting
“Combat” is the model name for that particular MR920 variant.
@@SkullCrushInc ah, missed the connection there, my bad
So mr920 won
I like the MR920 a little more than the G19.
@@SkullCrushInc thanks
@Kosem72 Exactly the same to me. They’re both good.

I think they are both awesome pistols.
