im so pissed off that no one talks about his vocal talent, to sing that well live and employ the techinques hes using, while playing guitar well, is ridiculous
And this is nothing on what his live vocals became. I love the energy here but damn a few years on from this and it’s night and day vocal wise. But if a genius is mr johns.
No one? Maybe here. There's a lot of people talking about his wide range of vocal skills and techniques, including myself! But definitely his vocal performances needed to be more appreciated outside their fans who obviously can appreciate and love his voice. I even published something about that fact on Silverchair FB fan group. It's great you appreciate his skills too!
I believe this is because Natalie Imbruglia was at this gig, she got backstage to meet Daniel, he was shy, she approached him in the corner and introduced herself, they end up married.
I heard a clip of it, it’s a good cleanser for him, I didn’t know about them until February 2015 when I got my voice output iPhone which is blind accessible, 2 months later I looked to see if Natalie Imbruglia had any other hits, she did and they’re awesome. That’s how I found out about Daniel, when I found out he was a rocker, I had to look him up, pretty good shit man. LOL When I heard straight lines on that same story, I thought “oh shit!!! so that’s silver chair. LOL I thought they were brand-new back in July 2007 on 93.7 KLBJ which is an Austin Texas rock station, which is still around, turns out they been playing since 94 when I was 11. LOL started in 92 when I went blind. I’d love to meet both him and Natalie, I’m so happy I can put my 25 year crush for her aside to realise which I always did, it’s a shame they broke up the way they did, it makes sense why he was gone so much. I always wondered how would be if they got back together, would it be the same? or would it be different. LOL Once my gigs go further, if I run into him or her. I’d especially like to show Daniel some of my stuff I’ve wrote on guitar and piano, most likely guitar. I can carry that anywhere, unless I battery power my keyboard. LOL I only have one whole finger on my right hand, that’s my middle finger. Ha ha Ha the rest of them are 1 to half digits, my index are 2 digits. Oh yeah, I also wear a prosthetic leg colour I guess you could say I’m a mixture of Forrest Gump and Lieutenant Dan. LOLJK Take care Daniel, love you buddy. Thank God for Natalie and the iPhone for the blind, that’s how I was able to look you up.
