I recently ordered four bags of the savoury. The bolognaise is my favourite by far as the others were a bit bland in comparison. That was easily resolved by adding a pinch of sal and pepper into the cup before pouring in the water. I usually leave it a bit longer than 5 mins to steam through in the cup. Tastes great for non meat dishes and amazingly filling. I went 3 days on two servings daily and my stomach was noticeably flatter yet didn’t feel hungry despite the calorific deficit.
I doubled the cook time and had luck with that. I thought after 10 minutes the noodles were good and not mushy yet. I only tried the Cajun and I thought it was flavorful enough to not need any added spices. I ordered on Amazon so I didn’t get the scoop or cook cup. I did 2/3 food mix to 1 cup water and stirred well immediately after adding the boiling water. It was soupy but I enjoyed it and figured the extra water helps cook it better. I used a thermos so it was well covered during cooking. I’ll probably order this flavor again. I’ll still have to see how my body responds. After reading mixed reviews I was glad my first experience was good. I even got myself a second serving to fill me up before work.

i hate the yellow thai curry and mexican chilli that they have. mac n cheese and chicken mushroom are my favorite ones. i wouldn't choose to eat the ones in the video but i enjoy the mac n cheese and chicken mushroom ones a lot. it helps to add your own ingredients to enhance it as well. especially salt and pepper, sometimes liquid smoke.

Tried the Mac and cheese today, added my own red pepper flakes,garlic powder, nutritional yeast, and umami seasoning from Trader Joe’s. It was pretty good but definitely used the microwave since the 5 minutes was false. Tomorrow I’m going to add some collagen peptide powder. …. Might as well experiment
I haven’t tried that one since it can’t eat gluten. The hot and savory overall have not been a favorite for us outside of backpacking meals. Keep us posted on how it goes.
@@nathanandtiffany well the Mac and cheese was better after I modified it. Still powdery, but the collagen peptide definitely increased the creaminess. I did the Mexican chili today and added cumin, red pepper flakes,chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, collagen, umami seasoning and nutritional yeast and it’s something I could eat regularly. Though some ground turkey might make it perfect
I have ended up doing that when needed with the huel black more often but you could do that with the hot and savory for sure. I am using this for backpacking more.
I agree gluten-free options in college can be really difficult. Especially if you’re living in a dorm and you’re on the meal plan. This could be a really good option to have in a pinch. Do you at least have a microwave? Or an electric tea kettle?

We did wait the 5 min but it was still hard and unpleasant. We did the microwave on top of that to see if it made it better. It did help a bit.

Each scoop is 200 calories. You can customize the meal to your needs. The standard size is 2 scoops or 400 calories.
