What do you do for air flow? Any fans or window mesh?
Was this question meant for our minivan camper video? If so we do have some mesh covers for the front windows and sunroof. If it was meant for this video I am not sure.
@nathanandtiffany Yes, I was wondering about minivan campers. Thank you..
@@nathanandtiffany No idea how I attached my comment to this video 🤣

Thank you so much!
I just came out of surgery November 15th I must say I'm so sore 😢😢😢😢😢this surgery hurts
I hope you feel better soon!
Crazy story about the sewer tank being full of tablets 😮😮😮😮 I'm loving how there seems to be a shift to "non sponsored" content on UA-cam
Thanks so much for the comment. I get why people do sponsorships. You know everybody needs to make some money but hopefully us not being sponsored gives a bit of credibility.
I am scheduled to have this done on Wednesday but I am going to cancel for now. I was not told anything about prep at home before nor specific care after. I was only told to go to the office and a medicine would be put on my face and that I would sit for 1.5 hours to process it and then be under the blue light for just over 16 minutes. Then I would be given a floppy had to wear home and to stay out of sunlight for 48 hours. NOTHING about recovery taking more than those 48 hours. With Thanksgiving being the following week I don't want to risk being stuck inside for a longer period or having any other of a number of things going on. I'm hoping I can get a copy of the after care instructions BEFORE going through this and then may reschedule for late January. I'm in FL so don't have to worry about snow etc 😎😎
I think the procedure can vary widely depending on which topical application and which lasers/wavelengths are used to activate it. But certainly do whatever you’re comfortable with and discuss it with your physician. Share here for other people when you have it done so that we can all learn from each other.
I will update if I have it done.
I’m scheduled for this tomorrow - but they are supposed to apply all the meds etc. However, I didn’t get any real advice or consult prior to having this done- I’m concerned as well since I have recent mohs scars still healing!! I’m cancelling and seeking more info! Let me know what you ultimately decide to do after the holidays.

What is your favorite bike rack? Thank you!
@@sarasmile184 ours is sooooo old but literally has lasted 25 years. Therefore, we have never purchased a new one. If I did I would choose one that swings open so you can open the hatch without taking the rack off. Ours does not do that and would be a very convenient feature.
Wow.
I very much appreciate these videos ! In 15 days, I will be having a complete hysterectomy + rectal prolapse repair (age 49.)
I am so glad you have found them helpful. I wish you good luck and a speedy recovery!
I have been using Huel after losing 30 pounds in a month, later found out I needed liver surgery. I started Huel to help strengthen me I couldn’t eat. This helped me stabilize and brought my weight up enough for surgery. I found half water half milk fixes the clumps and the thickness. The taste I could never get used to but am thankful. I also want to state the cost was above my budget, and couldn’t continue but if you can afford, and having health issues this is it!!!!! Thank you for video
Thank you so much for sharing your story! We hope you have a full recovery.
I love hiking vlogs. Anything about the AT or PCT 😍
@@lissyj294 Me too!
Wow, you look so much like Claire Danes! Thank you for creating this series... my surgery is under a week and this has really helped x
@@lissyj294 Wow I have never had any one say that. A nice compliment she is lovely. Good luck!
Which newer models let you run A/C or heating? Thanks!
I believe all the hybrid ones. There are some good videos on this. The car engine has to turn on and off to charge the hybrid battery. So I certainly wouldn’t use it unless you really needed it because it’s probably going to use about a gallon to a gallon and a half of gas every night. Also may be rude to neighbors. But very helpful when needed.

Is it better to just take a multivitamin instead. I know these products are “food” and would be preferred. Unless your goals are meal replacement, but if the goal is filling in gaps on nutrition a multivitamin seems like it would be a better choice.
@@DavidSR1127 You could do that. Conceptually the bio availability of something that’s already broken down more should be helpful. So for example, a tablet which is hard would be very difficult for the body to break down and assimilate prior to elimination. AKA expensive poop. A a gel cap would probably work better or a liquid. This would kind of fall under more of a liquid version or semi digested so that in theory you would be able to remove more of the ingredients from the supplement during digestion. The only real way to know if something is actually changing is to do some bloodwork for certain micro nutrients, such as vitamin D, B12, iron, etc., and see if supplementation improves it. In this case you would be treating deficiency. Although a lot of people take a multivitamin without any specific deficiency as well. Certainly the cost can go way down with some of these alternatives.
The prep is the hardest part because it seems to drag on. The procedure was a breeze. I was put under and don’t remember any of it. They asked some questions and told me they were going to start the anesthesia and I agreed then woke up in the recovery room very well rested.
Agree with the baby wipes. Also, don’t wipe hard. Wipe just firm enough to do the job. You’ll be doing it often and it adds up. The last thing you want to do is make that area raw.
For the low residue diet, I recommend sushi (just white rice and fish). I went to a sushi buffet. Also ramen noodles.
Prep is like having a 2 day stomach flu but you’re not sick and but you still get hungry lol. If you don’t like the taste chill it and pinch your nose then chug it. Chase it with Gatorade or something you like and it’s all good.
It’s being sedated that scares me!
Fortunately you won’t remember it. You could request to not be sedated but if they find polyps that need to be removed that will be problematic.

Thanks for sharing this! I’m 24 hours into my second PDT therapy and am having a pretty severe reaction - similar swelling and yeast colonization all on the right size of my face and forehead. Did you just have to apply the medication for the yeast colonization or do anything else to clear it up so quickly? I know I’m not supposed to scrub (would ask my clinic but they’re closed for weekend!). I have hydrocortisone I can take. Thanks again for sharing!
@@MichelleM-o5f my dermatologist gave me fluconazol. She called it in for me. And a steroid actually. Good luck!

do you have kids?
Yes. 1 biological.
Great video. I'm going to inquire about this treatment next Monday at my 6 month dermatology appt. I have used flourouricil once a year for years, and although effective, it's a horrible process. I stumbled across an article a few days ago about it causing extreme lethargy, fatigue, and depression in 25 out of 100 people. Last week I was using flourouricil and was depressed, tired to the point of exhaustion, and could not understand what was going on. Now I know.
@@jenniferbartlett9748 oh my gosh! I was not aware of those side effects. Please feel free to share your experience here so other people can see.
Put cansema on the suspected skin area, cover bandage and leave alone for 6-8 hrs. Remove bandage and if the skin area is now white in color, then it was cancer and is now dead. Alpha Omega Labs is where I bought my cansema over 10 years ago. It can last a long time, depending on how much you use.
@@RealityTrailers interesting. I will have to look into that.
All I'm hearing is "this one and this one". Had no ideas which product they were talking about. Not a good review.
My problem isn't with the prep it's the bean knocked out for the procedure every time I've been knocked out for surgery they have to use way more than normal because I subconsciously fight the knockout gas.
I know it can be done without anesthesia because I specifically asked. It’s not customary to do so. And if they have to remove any polyps, that’s the primary reason why they don’t want you to be awake.
Beautiful brave lady xxxx
hi. i’m glad i found your channel, i am getting a hysterectomy in a week. i am worried about recovery because exercise is the one thing that really helps me. I run, bike, swim, weight lift, calisthenics, yoga, etc… my doctor said to give it 2 weeks before running and to listen to my body. i hope this will alleviate the pain my cycle causes for most of month that has caused me to miss school and not be able to work. i take care of myself and have been for years so recovery is scary. i hope i’ll get my energy and life back 🌻
I am so glad you found the information helpful. I hope you feel much better soon
Thanks so much ! I am on day 8 and still struggling with redness . I also developed a 'pustular response' to make matters worse as I am a blonde with very fair skin. I had a very painful experience and my lips were covered in blisters :(
Oh my. That sounds terrible. Hopefully you will feel better soon!
Thank you so much. This was terrific. I just learned yesterday that I should undergo PDT. After watching your video ... I think I can, I think I can ... do it! Btw, your video was very enjoyable to watch and your comments were so well spoken. Thanks again
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the kind words. Good luck!
I had my colonoscopy yesterday and the prep wasn’t as bad as everyone say’s it is as the aftermath I definitely felt sick afterwards as I had a scope as well but everyone is different. I felt like flu like symptoms after my procedure just waiting to feel better now.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience, I found it very helpful. I would like to get PDT as I have had AK and basal cell on my face several times. I've needed a graft, MOHs-I don't want to go through that again. May I ask where you got treated, my dermatologist has not recommended PDT and it seems very few doctors use it around here?
