    25K views but only 717 likes when I saw it????? Come on! Excellent work isn’t always showy or exciting. More often it’s slow, cautious, and just gets it done with minimal drama, danger, and potential damage to anything. Well done. Equipment choice varies greatly between operators and situations. Keep it up.

    If you think you’re going off-roading with rims any larger than 17-18 inches and also still running highway pressures, you’ll need a recovery quicker than you think. You need to air down. And to air down you need side wall height. That ford and that Chevy driver had no business trying to be out there like that. I really don’t like sounding negative. But I see this kind of stuff all the time. Big money. Little know how.

    • @1Turnatatime
      @1Turnatatime 8 місяців тому

      Depends on the individuals doing the recovery. Normally if someone's already out there, they just do it for the use of their equipment since it never really gets used anyway.
      If someone is coming out to you, again it depends on the individuals. In jersey I drove about an a hour to help someone out and told them it's worth nothing. But I was the only one coming out at 4am and no one else's truck was able to the job so the person cash app'd me like 20 as a common courtesy. All depends on the person.

For the trail and light mudding I bought a 3rd gen Tacoma TRD off road that’s lifted with 35’s Which still would’ve probably got stuck here. This trail looks like it would require a very high lifted off-road rig with SuperSwampers and narrow wheelbase …
