You are the only guy that actual bothers to calculate load, it why you are able to do pulls with a gladiator that everyone else needs a wrecker. Well Done . As always
@@imchris5000 sure, but how many men, how much rope, where is the nearest anchor in line with the direction of travel. A z rig wouldn’t be enough ,too many men, Spanish burton, better but let’s go 5:1 , move the Jeep 20 feet = 100 ft pull , 10 guys tramping through the swamp, I think I prefer the Jeep method myself, why work harder.
Glad to see you hauling the jeep to the jobs...those tires are too expensive to burn um up on the pavement..but cut a couple 6x6 or 8x8 blocks to put under the frame when you unload & load, before you crack the frame, either front or back on that trailer..I'm sure you have a plan for jacks, but blocks are good temps.!! Congrats on the house progress & the ability to offer free services !!! Keep doing what ya do !!
It takes a good man to help fellow offroaders get out of a jam and not charge a arm and leg to help out. Thank you for your good work. And that is a Nice Rig you have there. God Bless.
I love that you evaluate, calculate the load, determine the best block and tackle setups needed for each job! I was able to recover an M60 tank with my 5ton Army wrecker by doing very similar inspections and calculations and then utilizing the proper process of block and tackle sets! Great work as always!
You should suggest to your customer to get some better tires for his jeep wants to keep playing in. The mud probably wasn’t a good one to do for free. Looks like you did a lot of work. Keep up the great work love the videos.
The right equipment and the right man for the job ! 👍 I enjoyed the video very much. Nice to have the roof of the house ready with all that rain 😉 Cheers mate 🍻
They put spacers in to make the tires stick out further so it makes the Jeep lighter. It's a weight distribution thing that a lot of people don't understand.
Now that the channel has gotten big enough. Have you considered adding another vehicle to the operation? With your skills, I'm thinking a Deuce and half would complement that Jeep just fine. Setting one up for off-road recovery shouldn't be too hard.😁
Right on Brother great job 👍 Do yourself a favor and brush on or spray used motor oil on the boards on your trailer. Do about 3 coats and let soak in a few days and the smell will go away and it won't even rub off on you. Won't ever rot and the bugs won't eat on the wood. I've been doing mine for about 20 years and still looks new. I just recoat every few years.
I had welded some “wheels” ( just two pieces of round stock drilled out with a bolt through the center) on to mine, sticks down 2 or so inches and it stops the trailer from 1. Dragging the tail and beating it up and 2. To make contact with the ground so it doesn’t flex as much when loading
That's pretty awesome you're in Arkansas. Watched a couple of your videos when we moved to st Augustine last year to see where to wheel. Funny you moved to where we used to live. Enjoy the Ozarks
You've moved a long way Northwest, but these recoveries still look a lot like Florida! It's Interesting that Arkansas has a similar monthly rainfall to Florida - around 50 inches, when the US average is 38
This is a really great demonstration of the reason for the difference between: all terrain & MUD terrain, tires. In addition to that, i really wish that jeep would make it standard equipment to bring all differential, transmission, and transfer case vent lines to a common location such as near the fuse box, sure you can get the kit aftermarket, but why? For the price they want, that should be a no brainer.
We used to worry about that, but I can give our jeep and all our gear to someone and they would fail at a job Then we would have them out in 10 minutes You have to have several things The gear The knowledge to do it AND THE MOST IMPORTANT the willingness to do it correctly
Two more recovered and again well done!! When you trading in that Florida tag? Some states (like Florida) only give you 30 days to change over. And also do yourself a favor when you get your new license, take a picture of your Florida one before turning it in. Follow through and call Florida DMV and make sure they know you “surrendered” you Florida license to your new state. Otherwise when your Florida license expires you can’t legally drive in Florida with any license if your Florida one is bad so be sure again to let Florida know you surrendered it for your state.
I shouldn't say this but I am going to. Because "jeep people" make fun of my trailhawk renegade. I enjoy watching and laughing at those jeeps like this one that is so nifty and looks good. But it has no go. Heck this jeep looks beefy and ready for offroad use. But it isn't. No lockers and low pro street tires. Heck it even has a winch. Heck even my little Rene has lockers.. Nice work matt.. Thank you for your time and energy for our entertainment and education..
Matt ::: that was a walk in the park compared to some of recoveries in Florida ,,, on this one you are getting near my neck of the woods ,,, Nashville ,, about 1 hr south of this recovery ,,,,
your jeep sounds so good. I muffler deleted my 3,8l v6 and it sounds almost identical. The 3.8l v6 is 4 cats and straight piped no muffler or resonators
Can you show a video on what you use holding your jeep while winching from the rear? You may have shown one before , but I'm a new subscriber, and I'm a little curious.
Are you guys permanently moving to Arkansas? If so, welcome to the Natural State! Now that you're here don't tell anyone how beautiful our state is. Oh yeah we're really dumb too etc.

I watch a lot of the recovery channels but you do the most with the smallest amount of tackle, you really do have a grip on the job.
You are the only guy that actual bothers to calculate load, it why you are able to do pulls with a gladiator that everyone else needs a wrecker. Well Done . As always
with enough line and snatch blocks you could do this recovery with just a few men. its all about simple machines

How are measuring the load after the mathematical equation chart.?
My favorite off road recovery channel...

Seriously. You know he makes a few grand per video. Yeah, good deed.
There was one guy in Florida who had a decked out Jeep that was prowling the SOS off road groups and charging the individuals....

Man I can't get enough. I'm amazed at people that think just because they have 4 wheel drive they can go anywhere??? Great job, love watching.
That's so funny when I've been wheeling out there for years an years never been stuck to where I couldn't get out....people are so hateful.
@rebekahprice5414 go on...
Great recovery Matthew. That looked like it was quite the mess to deal with! Thanks too for the quick tutorial on using the load calculator.
The right equipment and the right man for the job ! 👍
I enjoyed the video very much.
Nice to have the roof of the house ready with all that rain 😉

You are the absolute best. You don't lecture; you just solve the issue.
What’s with all the haunted crap on that Jeep? Maybe spend more on tires and less on skeletons next time?
They put spacers in to make the tires stick out further so it makes the Jeep lighter. It's a weight distribution thing that a lot of people don't understand.
Great job for not giving up when the creek was flooded. Congratulations on the roof.
Nice on the house. Great video. Need Jack's on your trailer buy the ramps. Have a great day and God bless.
What he said ^
Beefier trailer! Stands would help it agree!
I am so glad that you can afford to build your house and do these recoveries for free
! Good job dude!

The right equipment can go along way but knowledge gets you much farther. Nice work as always man.
Glad I found you again. You are the best at winching . You know what's up. Most of the other off road recovery channels are clown shows.
Great Channel! Just a suggestions but maybe add some blocks/brackets to the underside of your trailer ramps? It really helps with unloading.

Havnt seen the surface resistance/weight calculation before but thats pretty cool.
So glad you guys are doing this !! Peace
Arkansas mud is a little different.
That's some slick stuff! Mud always scares me bahaha

That mud looked slick. Be careful about building scotch blocks for other people. They’ll be stealing some of your recoveries. Lol
We used to worry about that, but I can give our jeep and all our gear to someone and they would fail at a job

You have to have several things
The gear
The knowledge to do it

There's less incentive for other people to try making money off of recovery work when they recognize Matt is doing it for free.
Sounded like a honda @8:50 😂
Always good to see another video from you..Glad to see the house is progressing !

Car show tires and wheels on that wrangler want get you out of the mud!
That guy should have spent less money on stickers and bought a warn winch
I bet it's annoying pulling out ppl without and 4x4 driving knowledge hehe much respect on the patients 👍

the road to recovery was real scenic!
Good thing y’all were able to go through that off road park. Going through that raging stream wasn’t going to happen.
Hey, I'm really enjoying the show! I'm learning so much about what to do and what not to do.
Nice work. Interesting load calculator
Awesome material, I have to say. Some calculations and explanations along with some recovery action. Great stuff!! And also, Arkansas!))
we have been asked to add the rigging tech info in the videos
Brilliant and wicked truck 🤙😎🇦🇺
Great job guys and I just ran ACROSS THIS CHANNEL AND SUBSCRIBED I hope it helps you folks out 🎉🎉
That look like a really fun trail for four wheeling.
Right equipment and knowledge goes a long way
Have to love the mall-crawler tires
I just keep learning from you and your videos! Thank you for providing this great learning and entertaining channel!
Happy to help
Yet another job well done. What's up with the skeleton on the back of that guys jeep.
Garlic tablets for mosquito repellent in south arkansas works pretty good
A bottle of vanilla extract and a spray bottle filled with water. Mosquitoes will stay away.
Why do these people buy jeeps, then put passenger car tires on them, then want to do jeep stuff. Good thing you're such a nice fella...
good job. i hope they gave u a BIG tip!!!

Excellent work.

Anything can and will get stuck, try getting a 60 ton army tank unstuck.
We have done stuff with that kinda weight before
Usually big cranes or excavators
Just realized you’re only about 3 1/2 hours away from where I live. Pretty cool!
Can you show a video on what you use holding your jeep while winching from the rear? You may have shown one before , but I'm a new subscriber, and I'm a little curious.
We do plan on making a video of those
Maybe I’ll do it this week
@@matt.mckinzie Don't you already have a scotch block video?
@@JohnFL yeah but the sound quality sucked so we planned on remaking it
You make it look easy when it really is not!!!
Those mickey thompsons 👌🏽👌🏽
Great job bro!!!
You made one hell of a machine!
Man cool to watch y’all do yall thing in Florida and even cooler seeing yall in Arkansas not far from me! Hope the video keep coming!!
A great channel. I keep sharing trying to get you more subs.
Looks like you moved up my way! Congrats! I’m up in Flippin Arkansas.
Yep, your about 90 minutes north of us
Another great recovery, thanks.

Yes we are here permanently
Cant believe the jeep is not snorkeled
Nice job, Matt! So it sounds like you're turning your full time job into early retirement? To help out those who are less fortunate of course.
Thanks for deciding not to charge. There is still some good people in this world 👍
Need to add some stabilization jacks on the back of that trailer!
That we do
Another great vidio. Thanks Darryl
Great job! I'd love to know where you got the calculator from. Keep up the good work!
Country life is better than urban life.
You should start a shop building recovery vehicles or upgrades to existing ones and have a small fleet going.
we are considering opening an "off road" shop after the house
You are going on a 100,000 followers real quick
Well done!!
You should have a flat rate of 250.00 to cover fuel and maintenance for the jeep.
Now that you've been in the new area any changes to the jeep?
Chipped a tooth or two on rear pinon
New gear set is on the patio
That’s why it’s on the trailer
Other then that nope
great video bro keep them coming...
Thanks, will do!
There's no way they would be screwed 😂
You guys are so awesome I love watching your videos
Zombie guy needs some new rubber.
Amazing how people think that a 4x4 mall crawler off factory lot can go anywhere! Vehicles need special fitment to go off-road. Especially a winch.
People are so hateful its not factory an I've put alot into it been offloading there for years 1st time stuck an couldn't rescue myself
An there s a winch nothing to winch to
Where ever you go.... mud, mud, mud.
Love it
Those Mickey Thompsons are badass!
Yes they are
Cool
If you dont mind me asking? Which exhaust are you running on your gladiator? I really like the way it sounds.
