    This is down the road from my house. We ride fourwheelers out there. If there is water in the ditches better be ready in the trails and have a truck well equipped with a winch that works lol. Some of these holes go from 2ft-6ft deep! I've walked 10 miles over a similar situation when i was younger😅Now we just ride atvs, sxs out here. Good recovery though man SUBSCRIBED👍!🇺🇲🎄💰

    I'm new to this channel and I how you explain your set up to winch out vehicles is a great positive for me. I'm form the UK work in woodland as my job and sometimes winching is the only option and its not all good fun. It can be tiring wet and cold and very time consuming. Good channel keep up the explanation of your winch set ups.👍 Take care and be safe.

    That's what I'm talking about. You shine doing what you do. Still amazes me how good that little jeep does. I mean the winching part is simple. I'm talking about how good it performs off road pulling all of these much bigger trucks out. The winching part is simply knowing how to use your equipt. I run 50 ton tator and do things people can't believe. But I know how to rig and what my equipt can do. Keep it up. Great content.

    Unbelievable. Anyone who has ever rode sxs's or atvs in Osceola knows that you wouldn't take an F250 on those trails. There are trails out there where the bottom drops out and has four foot holes. Expensive lesson.

    It amazes me that I see so many of the HD trucks stuck in the woods…. Why do people think it’s a good idea to bring an HD diesel into such a predicament…. Even when I owned an HD truck I rarely took it deep off roads due to all the weight.. lighter is better…. Buy a side by side or a midsized truck such as the ZR2 or Gladiator… Big trucks are not going to “power through” the muck like ya think….. I love my ZR2, can go pretty much anywhere where I need to be… On a side note, love this channel and the work that you do. I live in Ocala and may run into you guys one day. Keep up the great work!

    Had a friend years ago that woke up one fine morning after a bender in the bed of his truck. He had figured he was too drunk to drive so he had his equally drunk friend drive. The friend went wheeling after he passed out. Well they were parked in the middle of the Puyallup River in about 5 feet of water. They walked out, called me to bring the winch. I pulled them out and he was so pissed he fired it up and drove it home. Tranny, transfer case, both axles full of water. The real kicker was the great big muddy foot prints caving in the hood and the 1500 dollar ticket for "Parking a motorized vehicle in a salmon spawning stream" that the Fish Ranger left on the dash.

    I've hunted all over Osceola NF. In the rainy season, you had better know where you're going. A lot of trails, that will eat a truck, and often if you get in, there is nowhere to turn around. Osceola can get really bad if you don't know the place.

    It has already been argued in the comments. I will say this I do not think "stock" diesels can spin up fast enough for serious off roading in mud or sand. My little Taco 4x4 has gone places F350's could not. I have a stock drive train and 33's. Just my opinion.

      No slight against diesels.... I would love to own a a unicorn Ford or Chevy 4x4 F250 or 2500. It comes down to weight and length (which I did not mention) for getting into and out of places. My v6 stock Taco makes 190hp... I wish I could swap it with a more modern 3.5L ( I think 305 HP). Either way brother if you run across a old '96 white Taco stuck in the mud... pull me out!@@AxelRamirez-g1z

    • @rockie307
      @rockie307 11 місяців тому +1

      Big wide tires create more resistance in deep mud though. My full bumper and winch added 300 lbs to the front of my truck which is less than half the weight added from a diesel and even 300 lbs hurt me in deep mud and sand.

    • @imchris5000

    • @rockie307
      @rockie307 11 місяців тому

      @imchris5000 No substitute for weight and weight distribution though. I understand psi and such but if you add wider tires to offset the pounds per square inch of the lighter rig you just created more rolling resistance in the mud. Diesel engines hurt in the mud wider tires hurt in alot of situations as well its why the wide size tires ain't 3 peak rated for snow and ice they fail the test where the skinny tires pass.

    • @imchris5000
      @imchris5000 11 місяців тому +1

      @@rockie307 the added rolling resistance is negated by the fact that diesels have plenty of torque also its entirely area dependent florida does not get much snow. also snow tire rating is more about the traction on ice which is the reverse of everything its a hard bottom situation like I said skinny tires work but only in places with a bottom

    I’ll never take my 3500 off road like that He needs to drain all that oil and water and leave his plug off for a couple of days before adding more oil and starting his engine smh

    I really enjoy your videos. However in this video the "doing what others can't " i found obstructed the recovery and was distracting. Regardless, thanks for the video and look forward to the next one.

      We are playing around with things
      We agree it’s annoying on screen just like the green logo
      But there is a reason
      We currently have several other channels screen recording every single video of ours and zooming in a bit and reposting them
      Currently one channel pretending to be us and copying all our videos is pushing almost a 100k followers on Facebook 😞
