Glad you enjoyed the video, I knew a Jo Bower who was a window cleaner, he had a son called Jeff who I used to knock around with as teenagers, both now sadly not with us. Jeff had a son Steve who I'm in contact with. The family lived on Cheapside

My blister,, worked at Burnswear. Do you recall a kind of blacksmith workshop?. Think it was, situated, where Matalan car park is now?. A Hungarian man had it. My Dad's friend.

Wow...Worksop used to be clean. It's a shame to look at these photos, knowing what Worksop today looks like. I think council should start a city wide cleanup thing where the public can get involved and help make Worksop great again.

Hi Brian, in 1939 Cheethams were on the site that Farrands occupied if you look at the picture in the video next door is Harrop's tripe shop, and if you study other pictures with Harrops on you will see they are on the site which Boyes now occupy, also the steps to the left of Cheethams would not have been able to be there on the other side of Bridge Street.

The picture of Cheethams in the film is on Bridge Place not Ryton Street and that site is now Boyes.
